Location was great, but this place needs upgrading. The pool was not welcoming, no where to relax around pool. Just had dining tables around it. Lobby and elevators too old, no hot tub, long walk for beach chairs!

Property has no pool for guest use only. The pool is in the bar area that blast music until 4 am most days. Hard to get any sleet at this hotel. The bar area has security that will not even let you get to your room without a full pat down and review of all your bags. This is more of a bar than a hotel.

The lobby of the hotel was plain and boring, we were not offered the free drinks as offered but did get when we asked. The pool is half covered by a dance floor that doesn’t come off so it pretty much unusable not like the pictures. The restaurant on site (at the pool) staff was extremely lacking the staff was very slow and never came back with change when given a 100$ bill for a 50$ check our waitress was Jessica terrible, location was good though

Good time. Not having a refrigerator/microwave was tough. Pool area don’t allow for sunbathing/no chairs, which was really disappointing. Beach rental chair location was too far in my opinion. I’m sure younger people stay for the party atmosphere, but no way to keep food cold/rewarmed and no way to enjoy the pool would convince me to book somewhere else law next time.

Michelle and Carlos were excellent. I was a bit disappointed when we wanted to sit at the bar and was told if we didn’t order we could not sit there. It was upsetting because we were staying at the property. The rooms were very small , the toilets flush after the 3rd flush. Security came to our floor several times for unruly guest. The bicycles were a complete rusted mess but we still rode them. They need upgrading terribly. The diffuser in the lobby was very strong and got in my throat. We got stuck in the elevator it had to be fixed. This hotel is for young party kids. Season adults stay away they not like us 😊the most positive note was the Location. Hands down that can’t be beat !!!

The location of this hotel can’t be beat and the staff was incredible; they were extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the hotel itself really needs updating; the AC can’t keep up with the Miami heat, the carpets are old and smelly, and the pool was super gross looking; we actually ended up paying for a pool day pass at another hotel to avoid using the one at Clevelander.

I though that guess will have direct access to the pool area, but I had to go out and then make a line to get in as everybody else that is not staying in the hotel. Not any kind of special access for being a guest. Very disappointed. I could stay in any cheaper hotel around and do the same to go to the pool area.

They never cleaned the sheets on the bed after multiple request. Elevator not working, front desk not friendly, couldn’t find beach chairs/location. Dirty floors, Windows, beddings, stair case. They will not give you toilet paper unless requested and clean towels.

The location was everything. Accessible to everything around South Beach. Walking distance or bike ride. I enjoyed both. The sun deck was awesome. Clubbing going on down below lights flashing it was a vibe. But what I can say is done let the pictures fool you. Hotel is outdated. Rooms are very small. I was upset that the outside of the windows were not clean so I was not able to look out at the pool view as the windows were smudged.

I loved the location and that it was a party everday and night. The hotel rooms are ugly slate gray and white made me feel like i was in a cell. They did not have a table in case you wanted to eat in your room. The room was dirty and the cleaning person was terrible, did not clean the bathroom, remove garbage, or clean the floors. The room was cery small and did not have a space for you to put on make up. Just a bed and one chair, that was dirty. I felt safe as its in a very busy area. The front door locks after 10 with key only access and the elevator is key only. The pool is very small and thete is only one. They have other areas they dont use makjng downstairs very crowded.

The windows in our room were so dirty that we could barely see out. Looking down at the pool from the rooftop we could see how dirty it was. All around the pool area was just dirty. The rooms on the other hand were nice neat and tidy. The staff were amazing and the service they provide was impressive!

The room was filthy was scared to sleep under the covers, taped up remote. The door was sitting open upon my arrival, door rattled all the time someone else went their room next door I felt like someone was coming into my room.

Such a disappointment!! From walking in lobby to a very unhappy lady I was a little nervous. The guy at desk was very friendly though. Then when we waited an extra hour past our check in time because our room wasn’t ready we got to the room and when looking around was disgusted with what we saw. The corner of bed sheet looked like someone had puked in it.There was curly hairs on the bed and a bunch of little black dots. The base of the bed was also filthy and that was enough to know there was no way possible we could sleep here!

Staff is absolutely amazing. I’ve stayed in South Beach many times. This was first time at the Clevelander. I will absolutely stay here again. Michelle was so friendly, positive and accommodating. Carlos checked me in as was so welcoming. Kristy was equally wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit here. I will book a room a little back from the pool. Our room was right above and we could hear the music. It wasn’t a dealbreaker. Our suite was perfect for our stay.

Our room was decent, but the bathroom was a bit awkward. It was basically a closet with the toilet right next to the sliding closet door. There wasn't much privacy, and it was strange having the toilet so close to the bed. Despite that, the hotel itself was pretty nice.

Noisy hotel, very small rooms with no coffee maker, desk or chair. Tiny wardrobe for 2 people. There was a constant smell of air freshener which was very disturbing. We had to inform 2 days in a row that our room had no bathroom towels. And the "ding ding" sound of the elevator was a nightmare every night.

Front desk service is NONEXISTENT. I stayed to 4 nights and I needed the valet to have the car ready 2 or 3 times a day. I called the front desk at each time and not a single time they picked up the phone. I had to get down and go directly and ask the valet directly, which meant we had to wait 20 to 25 min.

Everyone at the front desk was amazing. They were friendly and helpful. They were understaffed however and at busy times customers had to wait because people were checking in, checking out, needing information, getting bicycles. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Without paying a fortune for one of the hotels that are directly on the beach you still have excellent beach access. And you can walk to scores of excellent restaurants. This was our 45th wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed our stay. Have to say that most of the rooms are even smaller than they appear in photos. Also disappointed that there was no special access to the club or pool as they were open to the public. Be prepared for loud, late night music from the pool bars below. We recommend the hotel, just be aware of what to expect.

awful service, but also I was charged a fee of 50 dollars for checking out 5 minutes after 11:00am totally wouldn’t recommend this stay, as the elevators are always dirty, the halls smell awful and the service desk is very limited to help you.

My recent stay was a nightmare from start to finish. Despite arriving early and politely asking for our bags to be held, we were told there was no room, only for another guest to be allowed to store their luggage moments later. We ended up lugging our bags around while we waited, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable. When we were finally able to check in, our room wasn’t ready, despite booking the Rockstar suite for a three-day stay. The hallways smelled awful, and once we got to our room, we found the shower situation to be extremely impractical and caused the whole restroom floor to flood. The TV didn’t work, and overall, the room was not up to par. After a frustrating night, we decided to check out early. However, we were met with resistance from the front desk staff, particularly a gentleman named Stone, who initially said we couldn’t check out early. After persisting, we were eventually allowed to leave, with Stone instructing us to speak to the manager, Joel, for further assistance. The next day, after multiple attempts to contact Joel, we were told conflicting information by a representative and were ultimately denied a refund for the remaining two nights. Despite Expedia’s attempts to reach the hotel, they were unable to get a response, and we were left without a resolution. Overall, our experience at the cleavelander was incredibly disappointing. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and subpar accommodations made for a truly unpleasant.

I like that the property was on Ocean Drive near the beach I didn't like that they didn't let you sit at a table on Fridays or Saturday night without buying anything and you're a guest at the property I didn't like that also didn't like how much the food and drinks cost at the property I didn't like that they offer you beach chairs and umbrellas but it was like nine blocks away from your hotel that you would have to go to to get them and if you're like nine Vegas Las Vegas blocks so you already know if you ever been to Vegas how long I block is

The staff wasn’t overly friendly. They advertised free drinks upon arrival and they didn’t have any available. There wasn’t a remote for the TV in our room. Not that this is the property’s fault but there was a huge party outside our room until 5:00 in the morning so we didn’t sleep much that night. The hotel was fairly nice but definitely not 5 star.

When arrived they stated that Expedia had not received my reservation that I had already paid for so I had to pay for an additional night. I have not be able to get a refund from Expedia. Has far as the Cleveland’s….the hotel is ok. It was clean. If you are there to party it’s a perfect place. However, overall the staff at the front desk are extremely rude. The exception was Christian and a night manager whose name I did not get. The little blonde guy that works at the front was rude, and unprofessional.

First- the good. Shout out to the staff, specifically Carlos, Charlene, and Demetrius for being amazing front desk reps and doing their best! They are definitely part of the heart of this hotel. The room itself, was as expected: small, but clean. Appreciated the waters available in room, the extra towels and everything. Staff and service- 5⭐️! Now for opportunities for improvement. The AC in the building and particularly our room was angry, like the devil himself had taken up residency and started monkeying with the controls. Facilities was called on day 1, which we returned to a cool room- hoping that was that. The next day, we woke up uncomfortably and in pools of sweat. Ew. It hit up to 80 in our room. Being that the property was having issues, we did decide to move to another resort with proper working facilities. The staff- again- was super helpful and accommodating in our decision. The property would benefit from ensuring proper routine maintenance is completed, cleanliness of the lobby and pool/club side bathrooms is addressed (cleaned and stocked) regularly, and ensuring there are stocked items (like cups for the free coffee in the lobby). As a heads up- the pool is in the club area of the hotel, and 1/2 of it appears to be covered by a dance floor. It’s really not inviting if you want a pool to relax in, unless that’s your thing. Appreciate the experience and the team members we worked with, but will not stay again.

This is a great location, near everything. Staff was great. Rooms are not very big, but other than that great! (My room was directly across from elevator so a bit of hall noise) its south beach!! It delivered what it was suppose to.

This property is in the direct middle of Ocean Boulevard. It has the most lively outside bar with a pool a DJ booth a few bars and no cover. I would advise to bring earplugs though because the music does go real late. Other than that the staff was really nice and welcoming. We had a late flight the last day we were there. They held our bags till 5 PM till we had to leave which I thought was really nice for no charge. I would definitely stay here again.

Let me start saying I am pretty simple. A bed and shower is just fine for me. This property is across the street from South Beach. Plenty of places to find something for your taste within walking. Rooms are m much like a studio apartment but enjoy for me. It seemed like a club atmosphere in the common pool/bar area which was ok for a little while but we left to go somewhere to get a snack and drinks ate while. Pricing at the bar was quite high for my taste but is what it is. Great restaurant just next to the hotel that was great for people watching and more reasonable for what we got. Overall for a single night stay prior to cruise, well worth the spot to lay your head.

What I did not like is: There was no microwave, no refrigerator, no good channels on the TV. no one answered the phone when I called down to the desk so I had to keep going down there to ask a question. Nowhere to park and Valet parking is too high. I was there 4 days and they only came to clean the room once. All you get for breakfast is 1 croissant and a cup of coffee but you have to be called a profane word that starts with a B to get that. The only thing I did like is the beach is right across the street.

One huge mistake that I made by choosing this property is watching and listening to the hype on Youtube about this place. Here are the good qualities this property has...Very convenient location on South Beach and very walkable, beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, staff is very friendly and professional, Love the rooftop terrace that has tremendous views of South Beach and they also give you two free bottles of water daily which I think is a nice touch. Now the low points and negatives...In the bathroom the sink fixtures are very wobbly and are not secured down on the surface of the vanity, no fridge, no ice bucket or ice machine on property. When you walk the hallways, there is a smell and I mean it's not a bad smell but it's not really pleasant either. Also, I was talking to another guest of the property and I was told by this guest that when they arrived and checked in the day before I did, they had witnessed some people selling drugs on the front doorstep going into the lobby. And last but not least let me talk about the onsite sports bar they have called KUSH. Food is very overpriced and not that good. I go back another night and was going to have some drinks outside and could not even get a server to my table in fifteen minutes of waiting. This place is a wannabe, Hooters. The only high point about this place is the scenery in there was nice but other than that...Avoid this place like the plaque. South Beach has better options.

Only thing I would say is the pics of the hotel were not very up to date! But the only thing I was really upset about was the beach access with the chairs and umbrellas for the Clevelander were not right across the way, you had to walk a few blocks down, it didn’t say that in the reservations lol! With that being said if you wanna experience south Beach Miami party life then the clevlander is definitely the place to be. I would recommend it

The hotel was within walking distance to the beach with an access point in front. The staff was friendly and helpful. The next bar offered great service (shoutout Renata the bartender). I would definitely stay here again.
