The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming 😊. We searched Expedia for a hotel that included parking, however the crest only has parking “available”. Valet parking is $47 or 1-1/2 blocks away a parking lot is available at $50 for 24 hours. It does not include parking. Also, Please be advised that if you book on Expedia you will be charged an extra $34.20 at checkin for a resort fee.

Hotel was very good. The room was cozy, confortable and super clean, bathroom was also good and clean. Hotel was 2min walk to CVS, Ross Dress for Less, 7 Eleven, and 4min walk to Lincoln Road. The have a beach service (sunbeds) that is already inclued in the reservation, which was really nice. There's a lot of restaurant close by to the hotel, a lot of places it was possible to go by walking.

We love Crest hotel because of the phenomenal location. Little disappointed as every year they decrease the hotel amenities. They use to have before Covid continental breakfast, free beach umbrella with 2 lounge chairs close to the hotel (no resort fees at that time). Now you get beach towels, 2 lounge chairs but you have to walk 3 streets further in order to use them at that location not close to the hotel. The check in now is 4 PM VS 3:00 PM last year. they also discontinued iron board and baggage holder in the rooms. There is no complementary coffee in the lobby nor coffee maker in the room. But they charge you for a hotel/resort fees $30 plus tax per day 🙄.Outdoor hotel patio is converted into third party vegan restaurant so there is nowhere to sit and relax without being in the restaurant. Staff is friendly, Kudos to Ray who was amazing and very professional. Room was small but clean and we get fresh clean towels every day. Bathrooms needs reno. Overall great experience if you don’t plan to spend lots of time in the room.

I've stayed here a couple times and overall id call it a clean cozy bed, but not much else. Location is pretty good too- beach is just a couple blocks away, plenty of parking options nearby and a plethora of food, drink and shopping

It’s taken me a few days to write this review as I ponder how to objectively review it. I’m can’t figure out how this had high ratings. The only positive is its location and the attached restaurant. 1. The room we were first given looked nothing like advertised. It reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. It wasn’t updated and it was dirty. We did talk with the front desk and they moved us to an updated room. Which made us wonder why they didn’t do that in the first place. 2. The mattress was worn and we could literally feel springs. As well as creak with every move. 3. The pool is in the front of the hotel and closes at 5pm because of the restaurant patrons sitting on the patio. Overall, we expect hotels by water and beaches to be a little worn due to the elements but the condition of the rooms was bad.

This was shockingly the WORST hotel ive ever stayed in. The pool was having maintenance and not available. The halls were musty and dirty. The room was disgusting. There were stains on the sheets. The carpet was sticky. I has to use the towels to put on the ground so i could walk without getting my feet dirty. The bathroom was so freaking nasty. When we turned the faucet on, nasty stuff came out of the drain like the inside of a cigar. The shower was literally not possble to use. It was like 6' high all dark purple paint, no light inside - scary!! Just a terrible terrible experience.

Very clean. Able to store luggage before check-in but instead my room was ready early so i was allowed early check-in. Room was dark and cold(in a good way) even in the middle of a hot miami day. I would stay again.

It was our second time in this hotel, with 12 years difference since our last stay. Not much has changed. It’s an “old school” hotel, but in a good way. Though not so modern (like many of the 3 story buildings in the south beach area) the hotel is maintained very well, it is very clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Its location is walking distance to Ocean drive, the beaches, Washington avenue and Lincoln road. The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the vicinity. Highly recommended!

Old and un-updated carpets were dirty shower sprayed from the connection and the sink faucet falling apart. Toilet seat had wear mark was probably 10 yrs old. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is so old and outdated! The shower did not work well, the carpet is old and with patches, the old model of air conditioner is very loud. The front desk personnel was nice. The location is good ( close to everything) and not noisy.

This place is in need of an update bad! Gross stains on the carpet that could easily be steamed out. Holes in tub, bathroom mirror warped and worn furniture. A/C w8ndow unit that hardly worked!!! You need A/C in Miami heat!! I was only there 2 nights. Positives were the pool and the beach chairs that are 4 blocks away on the beach.

Found the hotel clean and well located and rooms well outfitted and my only issue was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. I could make out every word from next door and across the hall rooms so didn’t get much sleep second nice as neighbours up till 4 am . With noise cancelling earphones, I would stay again as the rest I enjoyed.

This is a great option if you want something close to everything!! There are different stores around the hotel so u have all u need. The staff really nice, Florence was so attentive with me and my sister. Great choice!!!

As usual excellent service by Florence, Francisco, Paula(not sure if that was the name of other lady at reception). Florence welcome us with a great smile and positive attitude that make us feel special as we are the regular guests at the hotel. She accommodated us very well and went beyond expectations. Francisco was amazing as well.He took care of us when we have a problem with terrible noise issues with room above us. The entire hotel staff were professional and nice. Kudos to all of them and the manager Alejandra! Dragana from Toronto, Canada

Me & two of my close friends planned a girls trip to come to Miami and as many of you know there was a global IT outage due to a Microsoft issue on July 19th which caused us to not be able to physically fly out that day and when we tried every car rental company nearby and they were all sold out we had to settle with flying in on Sunday July 21st, I communicated this with the hotel and it was a well known issue across the world and the crest hotel denied adjusting our stay because it was originally booked for July 19th-July 22nd but since we couldn’t get to Miami until the 21st we wanted to extend our stay until the 22nd but they denied our request and we did not want to stay somewhere for one night and then have to find another hotel to stay at for our second night nor did we want to stay somewhere for one night when we paid for 3 nights so once they denied our request for adjusting our stay I requested a refund and although it was a global IT outage and no way for us to make it from Columbus Ohio to Miami Florida they denied me once again of my refund. They charged me for a stay I wasn’t able to make it to! Do not stay here.

The hotel was nice and the decor was very classic. The front desk staff was good, but when my family and I checked in the power went out for a few hours. Then I had an issue on Friday night with a gentleman who stated that he was security. My sister and I couldn't get in the hotel because the door was locked and we didn't have our card, instead of him asking which room and names he asked us for our room key and he was very rude. We waited for the rest of our family to get back 20 minutes later to get into the hotel

The hotel was great value for money. Located in a leafy side street away from the traffic but just 2 blocks from the beach Plenty of recent eateries nearby and round the corner from the hop on hop off bus stop. Yes the decor is a bit dated but the room rate and location more than make up for the cosmetic imperfections. Helpful staff, especially Paula on reception.

The property was two blocks from the beach, right around the corner from shopping and a fantastic coffee shop, called Crema! We were able to walk everywhere and the hotel was a block from the bus from the airport. The price was great for the area and, although we didn't eat at the vegan restaurant, the food smelt amazing!

The property is a perfect example of the Art Deco era. It had a lovely vibe from the moment we checked in. The young women who checked us in was professional though light hearted with the ability to make one feel comfortable quickly. It was easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. We enjoyed the free coffee in the a.m. in their outdoor dining area. I would certainly stay there again.

Crest Hotel? More like the Crust Hotel. Crummy room with poor facilities and the cheapest linens and shower products. Not even a plastic cup in the room for a drink of water. And the hostile Italian waiter in the restaurant tried to throw my family andy wife out of the attached restaurant because we were only having drinks and not a full meal? Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

We only stayed at this property for one night before our cruise and we did not really enjoy our time there. It was clear that this property was in need of a lot of updating. They did appear to be working on some rooms while we were there so maybe that’s happening already but I wish we had stayed elsewhere. The lobby was very nice and the staff was very kind. Our room however was not what we wanted. A very small bathroom. The shower had no shelving of any sort so everything had to sit on the floor. The outlets in the room were falling off the wall. We had towels with brown stains on them. Also, our tv stopped working shortly after we arrived and when we told the front desk we were told it was a hotel wide power surge and they’d be back on soon. Our friends never lost their tv and ours didn’t work again for our entire stay. Positives: it was very close to the beach, the staff was friendly and it was in walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants.

The staff was exceedingly helpful. I left my luggage both before I checked in and after. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent. Was named one of the best vegan restaurants in the US. The small bar is a hidden gem. It was all within walking distance of the Convention Center. I would recommend getting a studio

Convenient area with numerous stores and restaurants within walking distance. Finding the hotel can be hard because gps takes you down an alleyway. Also finding parking to wait on valet took us about 30 minutes. I wish there was a quicker process. Breakfast is basically non existent.

The location was perfect. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants! The hotel was nice, good housekeeping!! The king bed was comfortable and the pillows and linens in great condition. The lobby is accessible through the middle of the onsite restaurant, this was slightly confusing. Front desk staff sleeping at desk upon checkout (5am). We woke him up but he just said to leave the keys on the desk.

This was such a unique boutique hotel that brings you back in time with unique features and art from the 1940s. Additionally, they are attached and collaborate with a fully vegan restaurant. This was huge for us as my spouse and I have been vegan for 8 years.

The only reason to go back to this hotel is if you want to go to the Jackie in Gleason in Theater and you just need a place to sleep because you’re too far to drive home. That in the restaurant has a incredibl food.
