Dream Hotel is my happy place! With a rooftop pool, a bar and a delicious Mexican Restaurant (Naked Taco) next door that delivers poolside, what more can you ask for? Oh, and did I mention it’s a block away from the beach and the hotel provides beach chairs and towels, too? The glass of Prosecco at check in is a nice new touch since my last visit in ‘22!! You’ve got to check it out!

No room service during my 3 night stay. I would leave the hotel all day, however the 1 hour I would return to change outfits for dinner is when they would ask to clean. I asked for a few minutes and for them to come back, they never did. Limited soaps in the rooms, extremely tight space. The shower (when running) leaks out all over the floor making it slippery

The broken air conditioning unit in the hallway just outside my room dripping water all day for a week onto the carpet was disgusting. Had to walk through WET squishy carpet each time I left the room or came back. The smell of the room was musty and dank. Very noisy.

Employees did not want to be there and offered poor experience through the experience. In regards to cleanliness, floors appeared dirty and room seemed a little run down. Location was convenient and great for access to beach and local restaurants. Overall, average experience.

The stay was wonderful! I wish I could have been able to stay longer. Everything was very clean and spacious. It was located within walking distance to South Beach and everything you could think of but it was still quiet at night so you can sleep. The pool area was beautiful and the food was delicious. Staff was amazing.

Super conveniently located for a true south beach experience. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the ear plugs provided in our room since this area is loud late into the night.

It was ok for one night. Room was quite clean however the windows haven't seen a window cleaner in years! It was disgusting when we woke up and you couldn’t see much through our the windows. Thick layer of dirt on all windows and screens. Disgusting!

This is a typical older hotel in the area. It's nothing special. The room was comfortable, albeit virtually windowless. It was a 1st floor room over the alley. Maybe pricier rooms have better "views". The best thing about this place is that it's a block off the main drag, so quieter.

The room was small particularly the bathroom and shower which were split oddly between the hallway upon entering the room. The pool is small and outdated on the roof of the building next door. 8 people maximum can fit comfortably. The location was within walking distance to the beach and great restaurants.

The 730am, 20 minute long emptying of the 25 dumpsters was least to be desired EVERY SINGLE MORNING of our stay. It was impossible to sleep through as it sounded like a construction site right outside our window. Also, extremely awkward to walk right through the middle of a restaurant to get to the elevator to get to our room, unfortunately it was the only path to get there. Wouldn’t recommend staying with friends as there is no privacy in the bathrooms, no proper doors to close the bathroom and the shower you can be seen right through the glass when entering the room. Hot if you are with your spouse but not for your family or friends. Everyone was friendly, room was clean.

Location was great, although you might expect a little noise there was a bar restaurant probably 10 feet from bedroom window that had extremely loud music till 2am on one evening, your view from the bedroom window is the bar. Room lighting was all or nothing. I would stay there again but definitely on the other side of the building. Staff very friendly.

If you like to sleep, this is not the property for you. We were welcomed with a set of complementary 3M earplugs on the bathroom counter. It was very noise all night/morning long. Tiny room, no coffee maker, no real room for belongings, water did not get hot in the shower or sink. Lighting in the bathroom was awful. Can’t control the lights in the room. All on or nothing on. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property was good; the room was good. What let the experience down for me was the hotel not honouring the VIP Gold Upgrade and telling me (when i first mentioned it) that i would have to pay additional for it. The second day (the upgrade was not available), i was told i should have called ahead to ensure i got it. I was offered instead a late check out ( which was no good to us as we had to be at the airport in the morning) and 8 vouchers for a beer at the bar. A big variance from the $75 a day I was asked to pay for the upgraded room! It is frustrating to seek out a VIP access property to get an upgrade (when available - one was) only to be denied by the hotel.

We came as a couple for our first night out as parents of a young child and were very disappointed. This is rated as a 4 star hotel, but we’ve had way better service from 2 star motels. First impressions can set the tone of a stay and our check in experience was far from that of a luxury hotel. The agent wasn’t friendly at all. They offer guests prosecco at check in and we were told “no” when we asked about it because the room wasn’t ready (at our 4:30 pm arrival)… that left a sour taste for sure. And then when we returned after getting a text that the room was ready, we waited while another woman was talking to the other check in agent while waiting for her room to be ready and, you guessed it - she was drinking her courtesy glass of Prosecco and was even offered a refill. Additionally, the pool area needs a lot of work and didn’t even have music playing. Thankfully a nearby rooftop pool was having happy hour and had a dj playing good music within earshot. We ordered mojitos from the bar, which are a staple in Miami, and they were not made with fresh lime & mint and were full of artificial sour mix and sweeteners. We couldn’t even finish them and stuck to beer. The room was clean, but worn. Would not return or recommend a stay there if you’re looking for anything close to luxury because there are tons of other hotels in south beach that’ll provide better a better experience.

Great experience! Although the building is older and was renovated into a hotel, the property is lovely. What the hotel lacks in amenities such as a microwave or coffee available anytime, the staff makes up for Alex, Sheena and Aaliyah were so kind and friendly. I needed to stay another night and they ensured I could remain in the same room. They treated myself and my daughter like vips and always greeted us each day. The resort fee covers beach chairs and towels daily. This was definitely needed in Miami. I recommend renting an umbrella so your not directly in the sun too. The rooftop pool is just ok. There is no daily breakfast so be prepared. They will bring a mini fridge upon request. There was daily housekeeping and the valet was right out front. All in all, the rooms are small yet very unique and I would stay again!!

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The check in experience was seamless and the front desk staff was so professional and friendly. The vibe of the property was cool and my room was small but had everything I needed. My favorite part of the trip was the roof top pool. Justin, the attendant and server, was impressive in that he made sure all of the guests were being taken care of - amazing service with a "full house". Later in the evening, my experience in the bar was not so great. When I arrived on Friday night, I ate dinner a the bar, tacos were delicious and the bartender was friendly and helpful. On Saturday, it was a completely different experience. I sat down at one end of the bar and waited for about 5 minutes, the photographer on duty was a couple of seats away from me - she never looked my way. I moved to the service area of the bar and stood, again for about 5 minutes. The entire time, the bartender was engaged in a conversation with a group of people who were clearly friends, again, I was ignored. So, I walked outside to the DJ and asked if I could be seated at a table - he was very gracious and so was the server that eventually waited on me. While I was eating my dinner, I watched the bartender as she chatted with the men at the bar - I guess as a middle-aged woman, I wasn't worth her time. Aside from that, it was good value and good service.

Recently stayed at this hotel and I can not express how it is conveniently located. So many restaurants, shopping, beach less than a 5 minute walk. Staff was gracious and they came and made the bed, fresh towels and changed the wastebaskets everyday. We did Uber which picks you up at he hotel. Bed was comfortable and I loved the set up of the bathroom and shower. Also Bayside Marketplace is a 20 minute ride. We did eat in their restaurant the naked taco and food was great, mojitos were excellent and it was reasonably priced. We loved sitting outside and taking in the night life as well as speaking and just hanging out with other guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed at many hotels before which were 5 star hotels and I can say this is a good one.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was top notch and made us feel so welcomed. The property is very clean and has a yummy restaurant attached. The roof top pool and bar was the perfect time. The property is located in a very central location making it super easy to get anywhere. I cannot say enough about the staff!! Such a great stay. Already planning a return trip!

Property was easy to find, clean and located in an area convenient to Ocean drive and the beach. We arrived very early, about 10am. They found a room for us to check into. It was an extra $75, but was worth it to us. The room was well appointed and clean. The bed was really comfortable. We stayed during the week and were not bothered at all by street noise or music. We could hear it, but it was not objectionable. The restaurant, Naked taco, was below our room. The food, drinks and outdoor eating area was really good. The roof top bar and pool area looked nice, but the drinks were way overpriced. I paid $52 for two mixed drinks in small plastic cups….one time. You can drink far better and far cheaper at Naked Taco or almost any other place on Collins or Ocean Dr. Beach chairs and towels were available on the beach courtesy of the hotel. The people working the stands tending the chairs and umbrellas were friendly and helpful. Great stay. Great hotel. I would highly recommend it.

This hotel is in a great location, where everything is easy to walk to. We enjoyed both restaurants attached to the property as well. The pool area was nice with clean chairs and beds. The hotel is an updated art deco building, so much of the property is visibly dated. The elevators are tiny and very slow. The biggest complaint we have with the rooms was the lack of lighting. We sat in the lobby instead of our room multiple times because it was like being in a cave inside the room. The bathroom arrangement was strange too with glass doors that did not fully close for the toilet. Not sure I would choose to stay here again

So happy we stayed at DREAM! Close to the beach and the pool on the 4th floor was great. Good hotel for the $$!! The Naked taco delivery to the pool was also a real convenient option!
