The hotel is very good, with clean, comfortable, and well-maintained rooms. The location is excellent, making it easy to access the main attractions in the area. The staff were generally attentive and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options and well-prepared food. The hotel facilities are also pleasant and look just like the photos. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and think it is a great option for those looking for comfort and convenience. The only downside was the noise in the hallways. At times, it was possible to hear people talking and walking through the corridors, especially during quiet hours. For light sleepers, this could be a little disturbing. Overall, though, I had a very good experience and would stay at the hotel again.

Good morning. I wanted to try and reach the correct management for this Riu and hopefully it's you. We stayed at Riu plaza Miami Beach 1 night before our cruise Saturday August 29th checked out August 30th. Reception was really friendly and the rest goes down. Only 1 elevator working, we had room 907 room had moldy mildew smell that was terrible, room was clean beds are worn out. We paid extra for supper and let me tell you it was terrible, I could have went to McDonald's and had a better meal, a bottle of tea was $7.44 ridiculous! Service was good. We went back to the room hungry and tried sleeping but moldy mildew smell sent our breathing and allergies going crazy, not to forget how terrible the beds were, also I itched all night from the bed. We went to breakfast and it was about the same. When we went to checkout I told front desk a little but not everything because they was charging me a resort fee for use of facilities etc. I explained that we hadn't used the facilities as we checked in at 530 range and left at 930 am. I still had to pay it!! I tried to explain but they still charged I even told them. We paid in excess of $285 plus resort fees and food was included but would never do that again. We was assuming that being RIU it would be outstanding. We've stayed at around 8 to 10 different Riu resorts Mexico Jamaica Dominican and New York. Just feel like ripped off and wasted my money. I wanted to reach out to you because it says you're in management. We b

Stayed 3 nights

Clean property. Attentive staff. Ocean front room with a welcome gift was a extremely nice touch. The room was clean wth great view. Extra pillows would have been nice they were flat. Breakfast was better than most places we stayed at, it just a mad rush of people. The staff worked hard to clean and clear tables to accommodate guests. The hair dryer and outlets in bathroom didn’t work and elevators were down first night, so had to wait on service elevator, which was not fun. We ate at dinner buffet the first night and it was not bad, various options. Beach chairs were plenty and no problem getting one. The hallway signs say ice is on floors 5,7 and 9 but your room key doesn’t access other floors to get ice. No cable tv in rooms only live tv from local stations. WiFi was good but can only use two devices at the same time with the password. The location is approximately 2 miles away from South Beach. Restaurant options in walking distance of the hotel are few. Valet is pricey but no other parking options in area. The valet staff are quick to retrieve the vehicles all day and night. Overall it was a good stay as this hotel is not the party hotel like RIU properties in Cancun, which is not a bad thing. The hotel lobby, swimming pool and beach area is beautiful. The staff worked hard to make you feel welcome.
