I booked 4 room for the night before our cruise. It’s on ok hotel, not a that clean and smelled horrible. Some irons will work some won’t some bathrooms will have a trash can some won’t. Then after checkout I started getting charges for unknown reasons. 10 and 15 dollars more then the amount should have been.

Decent place for the price. Great location. Staff wasn’t always available which was a bit of an inconvenience when checking out but over all had a great experience. Would book again.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. On Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 1:00 p.m., the hotel allowed loud construction work to take place directly outside my window. The noise was relentless, drilling, hammering, and construction equipment, making it impossible to sleep, work, or simply relax. I paid for a hotel room to rest, not to spend half the day in what felt like a construction site. What’s even more disappointing is how the hotel handled the situation. When I brought it up at checkout, the front desk’s entire response was, “I’m sorry. Is there anything else you need?” There was no genuine concern, no explanation, no acknowledgment that my stay had been significantly impacted, and absolutely no attempt to make things right. If a hotel knows construction will seriously affect its guests, the bare minimum is to disclose it before booking or check-in, or avoid assigning those rooms altogether. Failing to do so feels misleading. Ignoring the issue afterward with a scripted apology shows a complete lack of respect for paying guests. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. Between the excessive construction noise and the indifferent customer service, I cannot recommend staying here. There are plenty of hotels that value their guests enough to be honest about major disruptions and take responsibility when they fall short.

The decor is charming and in keeping with the Art Deco atmosphere of South Beach. It is an easy walk to the beach and it is located in the heart of a vibrant area with lots of restaurant choices of all levels. The mode is casual but the professionalism of the staff is consistent. We were given a family style room upgrade from the standard room we had reserved and we were offered a free late check-out with two extra hours without even asking. Free coffee in the morning and a free drink at happy hour were welcome amenities. We did not try the restaurant on the premises but it looked inviting. We took the train to Miami and took an Uber to the hotel and other destinations. There is no parking for the hotel and traffic is bad, so I don't advise driving. I recommend this hotel for a good visit to South Beach.
