This hotel is a collection of buildings of different age and condition. The top floor pool is in the newest building. Unfortunately we were not in this one but at an old one. You have to go to the street to move to the good ( newest bldg). We stayed three days and the elevetor was out of order in two of them. The hotel has no services on the beach. You get there and you are on your own. Location, two blocks from Ocean Drive is excellent. Our room was rather large although kind of old.

Love a Kimpton & this was our second stay at this hotel so that tells you we like it! Great location just 2 blocks from ocean drive with lots of nice cafes/restaurants within a (very) short walk, as well as a CVS & other handy stores. Rooms are very nice, comfortable & clean but this is all about the location. The addition of electric bikes to rent for 2-hours for free is also great. Rooftop pool is lovely, vibe is classy & staff are very helpful. Hope to visit again!

I love staying at the Kimpton Angler. This is my second time staying on my solo trip to Miami. It’s walking distance to Ocean Dr (literally two blocks). The hotel has such good perks, like 2 hour complimentary use of the electric bikes, use of beach umbrella and towels, there’s a beach bag and yoga mat in every room for use. The room itself is gorgeous and I love the balcony (last room I had a large wrap around balcony and soaking tub). They have happy hour on drinks from 3-11pm, the food at the restaurant is delicious, they offer free coffee and tea in the morning and free wine around 4pm. I really can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The rooftop pool is good vibes but honestly I’ve only spent an hour up there both times.

We really liked the Anglers Hotel, it’s in a great location just 2 blocks from South Beach and the rooms and bar/ restaurant are really nice. When we checked in, we were allocated a room on the ground floor which I didn’t want, however the guy on the desk promised we could move to a higher floor the next day, which he honoured and we were happy with that. The room had the same view though which was not great as it’s just a side street, however the rooms are nicely furnished and ours had a balcony. Our only issue really was with the pool - there are simply not enough sun loungers. The pool was packed and when I asked if there were more available, I was told no which was really annoying because we wanted a pool afternoon and it’s a really nice rooftop pool! Eventually a lady said she was leaving and kindly gave us her beds. But it’s such a big space up there, they just need more beds! That was our only issue really, especially with the resort fee they charge! But overall, we really liked the hotel and its location and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel. Spacious, beautifully decorated room with 2 closets, refrigerator. Breakfast available for a fee, breakfast was very good. Rooftop pool area was nice. Free wine in lobby between 4-5. Valet parking was expensive but cheaper than the nearby public parking garage.

Property is well located, clean and the rooms are spacious. Staff are friendly and pool area is very nice. They offer a lot of things for the guests including complimentary wine and coffee as well as beach gear. Only issue was there is only 1 elevator working not sure what’s taking the second one so long to fix.

The location is great. You can easily walk to restaurants, coffee shops a grocery store and the beach. The property itself is outdated and worn out. The lobby is dark and the elevators smell of sweat. The carpet in the hall is old and worn down. You can see the dirt and stains. When I went into the room the laminate floor was deeply scratched and hadn’t been swept. The linens were stained, and pilled. The baseboards and bathroom floor were dirty. The towels need to be discarded as they were all well past their prime. I witnessed the housekeeping staff put the towels they were replacing in another room on the hallway floor. I was uncomfortable my entire stay. I have stayed at Kimpton properties for over 15 years and this property missed the mark. I will not return. If the neighborhood is most important you will love the area. If being comfortable and clean are important to you I would recommend skipping this property and staying elsewhere.

Lobby smelled amazing with great A/C. Very nice morning coffee and social hour wine and tequila lemonade offered daily. Rooftop pool was so amazing with music and drink/food service. Very happy with our stay. Only complaint is the smell of the elevator.

Stayed in a Kimpton hotel before in Beverly Hills which was 10/10...but this Miami South Beach branch was more like a 4/10 sadly... Room was extremely poorly attended too which dead bugs everywhere / squished on walls, sticky & dirty floors, a terrible smell from the mini fridge and a really strange door that looks like it's open everytime you shut it. On top of that they have 2 pools, but the one that's right outside of our rooms was extremely filthy and unintended too (towels were never replenished). Overall a bad experience.

Elevators had a horrendous smell, we thought maybe needed cleaned, but after cleaning they both still smelled awedul. Walls are super thin and other guest were partying, yelling and running up and down the halls. Wanted to relax and watch college football but this hotel doesn't even have basic cable, just Samsung plus tv and the internet super slow. Restaurant food over priced and the for the amount of $ we paid for the night we we're expecting alot better. Won't be back!

The room I have stayed had a serious mold problem. The room itself smells like mold. And even the towels that were in the cabinet smells mold. I believe this is a serious health concern and I totally do not recommend to stay over there. Unfortunately I did not totally read the reviews that were mentioned over there. If I did, I will definitely cancel the reservation. Otherwise the area and the hotel amenities are nice, but it doesn’t matter since they have a mold problem

The Kimpton Anglers is a lovely hotel in the heart of South Beach. The room was perfect - spacious and clean! The only small issue is it could be slightly noisy on some evenings - though it is in South Beach so to be expected. What really made this hotel special were all of the staff. They were simply fantastic and made our stay so lovely. All really friendly and attentive. The staff should all be very proud of the service they provide, from the front desk team, to the bar staff (Damika - I may have got that wrong - was awesome!), and especially the cleaners who were all really lovely. A brilliant place to stay and would recommend to anyone visiting South Beach.

Beautiful rooftop with pool, although pool heater was not working on the rooftop. There are two different buildings for the hotel, and unfortunately, we were in the older building and our room was in the far back along an alley which meant being woken up by garbage trucks in addition to being woken up several times by other guests returning to their rooms. You must enter this building through the main room of a restaurant every time you go to your room. The possibility of vastly different buildings was not clear.

I already explained to Jimmy who sent me a text asking how the seevice was. I got there and tv didn't work. I called downstairs 5 times and 3 of the times someone picked up and hung up in my face. I couldn't go downstairs because I was on a call. Finally called back 6th time to be told that there was an issue. This is probably something that should have been disclosed at time of check in. Obviously when I arrive in my room I wan relax and watch tv. Second situation is I called for an Iron and it took 30 min and just as I was going to put a shirt on because I was showered and ready to go someone knocked with the iron.

This was my second stay, but I will stay somewhere else next time. I found the front desk staff seemed uninterested and not very professional. In just a year, the standard had dropped considerably. Good location, but I'll try somewhere else for comparison.

Our stay was excellent. The staff greeted us in and out, helped us with everything from recommendations of restaurants to beach bags for the beach. On top of being in the center of the action, the amenities make it like home the fragrance coming into the hotel is also amazing. The staff constantly ask you if you need anything and is very helpful valet parking is also excellent and fast. We will be coming back.

We booked a couple of days on points and more days paying separately. This resulted in a split booking where we had to change rooms which is fine but staff were unhelpful - travelling with a baby so asked if we could switch straight over rather than be out of the room for 5 hours. Told no problem. Next morning checked and was told no problem, when I asked them to clarify that meant we could go from one room to another was told “if it’s free”. Ended up being out of room for hours. Felt like staff would say anything to get rid of you but do nothing. Even when they said they would text when room was ready they didn’t. It would have been less annoying if they had said from the outset they were doing absolutely nothing to make it any easier for us.

A nice and quiet hotel within short walk to the beach. Friendly staffs and nice dining options on and off the property. If you are flying in, no need to rent a car. There is an express bus (#150) from the Miami airport to the South Beach stops a block away from the hotel. The hotel even let you borrow their bikes and we were able to pretty much every where.

Plenty of accessible restaurants. Decent walkable distance to the heart beat of South Beach. Short 7-10 minute beach access. Traffic can get ridiculous on Ocean and Collins so Washington seems fitting as well to catch rideshare services without huge hassle.

The Kimpton Angler is 2 blocks from Ocean Drive, provides excellent Happy Hours, the rooms are spacious and modern, rooftop pool, music, bar and lounge create a welcomed vibe. The cafe and the restaurant provided excellent food and service (Anthony and Ingrid are incredible and made our experience extra special). You can rent bicycles from right in front of the hotel and all staff are welcoming. Recommend highly for the quality and great price.

Kiloton’s Angler hotel is a really nice hotel in South Beach. It is 1 block from the beach so that’s really convenient but at the same time that 1 block gives you a little privacy and quiet from all the bustle of Ocean Drive. The rooms and common areas are all very stylish, nice, and clean. The rooftop pool is terrific. Staff is very helpful and easy to deal with. Pillows stink. The pillows on the bed offer NO support at all - this is a problem at many many hotels unfortunately Dinning choices at the pool could be increased. Prices at the pool are very high (I got 2 pina coladas and a Diet Coke and it was $49).

Nice hotel in downtime Miami. We were on the first floor so it was pretty loud when the DJs would play music in the afternoon but we could get a restful sleep. Everything was expensive and came with a high service charge. two mimosas at the poolside bar was over 40 dollars but not unexpected in Miami. Front desk was very nice. Overall a nice hotel and a good long weekend in Miami

Valet was very nice and efficient didn’t have to wait long for your car , rooftop such a beautiful view and the rooftop bartender very very nice gentleman who makes great margarita , front desk staff very helpful and professional and really loved the free wine hour ..so upset I only stayed for two days but would love / cant wait to stay again !!

Awesome staffs! Great location, the only thing is the property has a smell in the elevator and in one of the three rooms that we booked. But the front desk helped us change the room without any issues, so we had an overall good experience. Juan was our server at the El Patio restaurant at the hotel and he was great, the hostess was awesome also, came and took a bunch of pictures for us. They are a little short staff in the morning at the coffee/bar area so my order took forever, but I do feel bad for the lady since she was the only one making the drinks. She was really nice so I didn’t mind the long wait.

The property was nice. but the elevator was not working, and you had to drag your bags to the next level checking in and out. Also, we got in the room and the lights and TV did not work. Had to call front desk. Then I asked for Ice and we were on the 2nd floor. Ice was on 5th floor. Remember no elevator. So, they said they would bring it. It never came. Then hour and half later I call again for ice and they bring it in a bucket with NO LID. You cannot keep ice in something without a lid. This is ridiculous. I found it a bit frustrating for such a high-end hotel. The front desk staff was a blit lacking. Asked where to go eat breakfast . They would only suggest their restaurant at that hotel. Then ended up going there and they had no Bacon. Did not tell me this till after our food was delivered. How do you run out of that for a place that serves breakfast. Somewhat disappointing I would say.

The price is right! Great location. Two great restaurants next to and inside property. They provide a wine happy hour and free coffee & tea daily. Truly enjoyed my stay.
