There are several things that are not working, including elevator and dryer. The solo functioning elevator is particularly problematic because all the cleaning staff and guests are waiting for it. There are no cups in the gym and no towels in the swimming pool. For the price it charges, it just doesn't feel right.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Miami Beach and while it wasn’t a terrible experience, it definitely fell short of expectations for the price. The stay was fine, but nothing particularly special or luxurious. The room was clean and the location was solid for access to the beach and local attractions. However, there were several inconveniences that made the stay less enjoyable. The water pressure in the showers was very weak, making it frustrating to rinse off after the beach. More importantly, the elevator was out of service multiple times throughout the weekend, which meant using the stairs—especially annoying when heading up to the pool. Speaking of the pool, it’s very small and often taken over by large families, making it nearly impossible to actually swim or relax. The area gets quite noisy, and on top of that, the hotel room literally shook all weekend from the bass coming from either the club or nearby events. It made resting during the day or getting a good night’s sleep pretty difficult. Also worth noting: at check-in, I was hit with an unexpected $300 security deposit, which wasn’t clearly mentioned beforehand and felt excessive. Wonderful location with a lovely rooftop pool. Highly recommendable but be aware of the high prices for breakfast and parking, which is probably Miami Beach in general. If you bring a car, use a public garage on 16th or just behind H&M on Lincoln to save a lot of money.

A decent hotel for the price. Our big issue was the elevators. The elevator would stop at the correct floors but the doors would not always open. Taking the stairs was not a good option. The only stairs we found went outside in a tight alley, no access to the lobby.

Don’t trust what the staff tells you. Dishonesty and misleading customers seems to be a trend. I was told that bicycles, beach towels and beach chairs were complimentary but they were NOT !! I was charged $33 per day for them even if I didn’t use them. Terrible

The hotel overall was perfect! Location was perfect, walking distance to everything. There was a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, shops and mini market within walking distance. The hotel is about a 10 walk to the beach. The hotel offers 2 free beach chairs right on the beach. They also offered a two hour bike rentals. There was a roof top pool with a beautiful view of the city. The pool was clean and they also had a lounge area on the roof top as well. The room was cleaned daily with fresh toilets. The beds were comfortable and we also had a sofa bed in our room. The room comes with 2 Queen beds, sofa bed, tv, wifi and a mini fridge. You can purchase snacks down stairs in the lobby as well. There was a gym & a laundry room in the hotel as well. The hotel wasn't noisy & you couldn't hear any of the noise from the street. I highly recommend this place to everyone. It's worth the money!

Very old room. Holes in flooring and an extremely dirty sofa not worth sitting in. Room was not properly prepared before arrival. The screen welcomed a different guest. There was a full/dried up coffee cup left in the coffee machine from the previous guest. No clean cups. No "Do not disturb" sign. No material whatsoever on services, wifi etc. The roof top sitting area and pool was nice. The staff was friendly, but definitely will not stay here again. Other hotels on SoBe does much better for the same or lower price.

We had a very disappointing experience. Our room wasn’t cleaned for an entire day and for two other days, no clean towels were provided. We were never given an explanation, which made us question whether we were treated differently, possibly even due to our race. We could clearly hear conversations, coughing and the TV from next door, which made it difficult to sleep. While the front desk staff were professional and polite, the housekeeping person we interacted with was rude. Overall, the service and comfort fell far short of expectation. We would not stay here again.

The check in guy was robotic. Didn’t look at me at all, just his screen, but had time to talk to a colleague while processing me. The noise from the next room was so loud that it woke me at 3.00am and 4.00am. Shrieking and shouting. Not the sort of noises that one would want to confront, so earplugs were used.

Overall, my stay at the Marriott hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was convenient and walkable to all the shopping areas and other hotels. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the $29 charge for 2 meals a day, including 2 drinks, beach chairs, and bikes. While it's a good deal if you plan on staying at the hotel and utilizing these amenities, it was frustrating for me as I was attending a music festival and didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of the meals. The fact that the drinks had to be drank in the lobby rather than being able to take with me was also a bit disappointing.This was what the young man working at the restaurant lobby told old me . Despite this issue, I would still recommend the Marriott hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Just be aware of the additional charges for amenities that you may not end up using.

The nightclub right next to the hotel so you can’t sleep because it’s so loud, strip club directly across the street with women with no clothes on in the large billboard, no suites, housekeeping knocked once and entered our room and didn’t even give us a chance to say we were there. Never again.

Sam was and HAS been the most helpful and most respectful member of your staff. I have stayed here a handful of times and he is more than accommodating. We spoke to a different gentlemen about a later check out because our flight was late and we had no where to go for the time being. He was very short and offered us 1 hour additionally. Did not take the time to hear our concerns and had to ask him twice for new towels to the room. Sam on the other hand is a delight to be around and as soon as I see him at the front desk I know any concerns or questions I have will be addressed and treats not just me and my girlfriend with upmost respect but every patron that comes in and out of the hotel. Sam is the man! With out him I would not come back.

The staff are absolutely amazing! It is South Beach, so it is busy and it comes with everything one would expect in the area. I will stay here every time I am in the area because the staff are the most accommodating and welcoming I have ever encountered and I travel a lot.

The check in guy was robotic. Didn’t look at me at all, just his screen, but had time to talk to a colleague while processing me. The noise from the next room was so loud that it woke me at 3.00am and 4.00am. Shrieking and shouting. Not the sort of noises that one would want to confront, so earplugs were used.

The location is the only decent thing about this hotel. It’s walking distance to the beach and Lincoln blvd shopping area and espanola. Other than that it is run down and the walls are paper thin. They also charge a $29 resort fee which is annoying. This is instead of Breakfast being included which Expedia said it was. Also valet parking is $42/day. Finally the immediate street location is shady. I saw a drug deal right outside the door.

Stayed 4 days...I wanted a hotel with a pool that stayed open past 6pm...Staff was excellent..!st room had a leak ...they immedietly transfered us to another room at 3am in the morning...we got there early 12 noon was giving a room earler than expected...My card was charged a day earlier than expected...there was a balance of $100 "destination fee" I was expecting to pay upon arrival but was told I didnt have to pay it ??/ well I had to pay it at check out...I was confused because I didnt book with breakfast (29.00) per day included ...I was told is was being givin to me! but sure enuff at check out I had to pay for the breakfast!! EVERYTHING HAS A SURCHARGE BEWARE! Wonderful location with a lovely rooftop pool. Highly recommendable but be aware of the high prices for breakfast and parking, which is probably Miami Beach in general. If you bring a car, use a public garage on 16th or just behind H&M on Lincoln to save a lot of money.

Overall, my stay at the Marriott hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was convenient and walkable to all the shopping areas and other hotels. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the $29 charge for 2 meals a day, including 2 drinks, beach chairs, and bikes. While it's a good deal if you plan on staying at the hotel and utilizing these amenities, it was frustrating for me as I was attending a music festival and didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of the meals. The fact that the drinks had to be drank in the lobby rather than being able to take with me was also a bit disappointing.This was what the young man working at the restaurant lobby told old me . Despite this issue, I would still recommend the Marriott hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Just be aware of the additional charges for amenities that you may not end up using.

Don’t trust what the staff tells you. Dishonesty and misleading customers seems to be a trend. I was told that bicycles, beach towels and beach chairs were complimentary but they were NOT !! I was charged $33 per day for them even if I didn’t use them. Terrible
