The elevator was broken and they tried to put us on the highest floor without any discount. It was scheduled maintenance and they did not inform any of the guests.

When using the pool there were no towels. Another guest told me I had to get towels from the front desk. A notice on the door would be helpful. Telling children they have to leave to go get towels just creates unnecessary stress.

Good location, good price, easy check in and out. We had a spacious room with a ceiling fan, that was a nice bonus. We’ve stayed here before and will in the future. Breakfast was ok nothing fancy. Convenient location to the casino, they used to have a shuttle but do not any longer

The pool was so cold! And the hot Tub was not hot, nor did the jets work. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were worn out. So not great sleep. On the plus side - was recently remodeled so new carpet and clean. Breakfast was standard. Just need to finish by fixing the pool and hot tub heater and new beds with bedding.

The room was comfortable, however their pool area wasn’t. The pool water was cold as ice. I informed the front desk at check-in and at checkout. Both times, they replied that there was nothing they could do as they were under “strict” orders not to change anything (as the pool, tub and air temperature in the pool area needed to stay at a constant temperature). At that time they mentioned that the pool water was 88F and hot tub 102F…I tell you that was definitely not the case. Perhaps the thermostat is out of order and they need to work on that as well.

Bedspread had stains, toliet was't clean and backed up. We were given a plunger to fix it ourselves. Bed and pillows are not comfortable, my back hurt and I did not sleep well. No receipt given upon checkout. Breakfast was ok.

There was debris in the bathtub, left over food in the fridge and bathroom floor wasn’t mopped well. Rest of room was clean. The breakfast was good, everything else was clean in hotel. Did not swim in pool. Parking was good. Lady behind counter wasn’t concerned about the room being dirty, didn’t offer to have anyone clean it- so we did it ourself and was apprehensive about giving us extra blankets. Employee at the breakfast area was very nice and helpful. Overall, we would stay again.

The hotel appears to be new or totally newly renovated. The carpets, other flooring, walls, etc. were all in excellent condition and super clean. Walls may be a little thin, as we could hear neighbor voices late at night, but not enough to be really bothersome. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Clean rooms, super comfortable bed & pillows, nice shower. The sink being outside the bathroom was a little weird we thought, and plugs only on one side required some juggling but we made it work. Front desk was super helpful, happy with our stay.

Room was clean and comfortable. The ceiling fan in the room was a nice touch too, especially considering it was very warm that day. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one in another hotel room. Recommend this for anyone traveling to Mount Pleasant!

So pleasedwith my stay at the Baymont in Mt. Pleasant! I was in town for Special Olympics State Games. The staff at the front desk were fabulous when I checked in on that Friday! It was a warm afternoon and the front desk gal gave me a small bottle of Gatorade and a chewy granola bar held together with a Cooling headband, so thoughtful! VERY pleased with the cleanliness of my room and I slept great!

The staff was very helpful and friendly I like how I was able to register all my info before coming to the hotel so when I got there I just had to pick up my keys to the room I also was impressed by the prompt welcome text for my stay I will be returning if I need a place to stay in Mount Pleasant

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink was outside of the bathroom right next to the door. The main issue was their refusal to service the room. I was informed when I checked in that they wouldn't service the room since I was going to be there for more than one night. That didn't make sense, so I asked the desk person if they would service the room if requested. She replied yes, so I requested that service the room. The next day when I returned to the room, it was not serviced. I was informed by the desk that it was too late to service the room, but that the manager would call me. The manager never called. I wouldn't stay there again, especially with other great options close by. It isn't worth the aggravation.

Horrible experience. Booked a double room and got to the property and they had us in a single room with one king bed. Staff said the room I booked didn’t even exist. Even worse is that I paid extra for the room which was $40 more than the room they had us in. The hotel management was unresponsive for days and then refused to refund anything. On top of all this the hotel is dated and you can hear everything through the walls. I would not recommend staying here. They need to get their crap together. Also, stop misrepresenting rooms you do not even have and then ripping people off by charging them more for something that doesn’t even exist. They should be ashamed

Very friendly service I would highly recommend this place to stay pretty much everything was great about the stay! Great breakfast! Very nice of them to give us a late checkout time of 1:00 p.m. I would stay at this place again when I go back to the area.

When we first checked it, we were given an occupied room. Not sure how that mix up happened but it was quickly resolved and the desk apologized for the mix up. Imagine if we entered the room and the person was in there- perhaps changing clothes.

Clean, welll maintained facility. Check-in was easy as was check-out. Staff was friendly. Located close to both Soaring Eagle Casino and Central Michigan University. Restaurants nearby but need to drive a short distance. Compared to other hotels rates, this is moderately priced.
