Scathing Review: This Property Is Falling Apart This location desperately needs a top-to-bottom upgrade. Any goodwill earned by the friendly front desk instantly evaporates the moment you step inside. --- What Went Right • Front desk staff were genuinely welcoming and eager to help. --- What Went Horribly Wrong • Carpets from the entrance to our suite were filthy—streaked with grime and visibly neglected. • I could feel debris underfoot when I stepped out of bed; it was impossible to ignore how unclean the flooring was. • The bathroom ceiling was coated in mildew, thanks to a complete lack of ventilation. • The toilet handle required constant pressure just to flush properly. • Our suite’s sofa and pillows were equally filthy, making relaxation impossible. • The indoor pool area was absolutely freezing and the hot tub was shut down. • Damp towels were scattered all around the pool deck, signaling careless housekeeping. --- Final Verdict If you have any alternative accommodations nearby, book them now. Not the best hotel. The room had a toliet that would randomly flush all night. There were a few outlets that didn't have face covers. All the outlets were so loose you couldn't plug anything in. The pool, elevator and ice machines were all out of order. overall it appeared clean. The staff were very nice. It just seemed like it was not a very well taken care of property.

The outdoor fire pit and indoor swimming pool were nice amenities. There was chaos all evening in the halls and other guests were loud and extremely messy. People were littering in the halls, fitness room, elevator. It was a bustling place and probably not enough staff to maintain order.

This hotel has seen better days. It was surface clean, as in the bedding was clean but there was stuff all over the walls and surfaces that indicates the hotel is never deep cleaned or given more than a cursory wipe down.

Rooms were filthy. Hallways smelled horrid like trash, weed and cigarette smoke. The shower had hair on the floor and the toilet wasn’t cleaned. Gross!

Air conditioner didn’t work. Room smelled like weed. NO HOT WATER. Mold in the bathroom. Towels and blankets were stained. This is probably hands down the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

Room spelled like dog piss. The carpeting in the rooom and throughout is filthy, stained and disgusting. We complained 3x and finally gave us a can of lysol to spray in the room. Something from the room whether dog issue or mold caused eye issues and a constant cough.

The hotel wasnt very clean. You can see used beer cans randomly in places. We checked into our room and when we lifted the sheets, we saw blood stains. It was as if the cleaners just fixed the used sheets and passed it off as clean

Absolutely terrible. Very dirty and run down. We had three rooms for my family that were previously paid for (so no opportunity for money back). Between the three rooms, one had a dirty cleaning rag sitting in the bathroom, one had lipstick stains on the sheets and bedding and one had a toilet that didn’t work and a shower and sink that obviously hadn’t been cleaned.

I should have know it was going to be a problem when I saw the stain on the comforter. I got ate up by bed bugs in room 129. Had to get out of there asap, it was approx 1:30 am. Then I was moved from a King Bed to a Suite (the manager made mentions as if it was a favor) room 212. Get there and it was filthy and I'm now in a Queen bed. I couldn't fall asleep until almost 4 am, I was so uncomfortable. I prefer a King Bed to sleep in. I have a heart condition therefore I was unable to keep walking back and forth. Glow lights on the floor next to the nightstand, makeup pads and trash under the radiator and bed. No hand soap or extra toilet paper in the room. I wound up checking out of there early. No other accommodations were offered. This used to be one of my favorite getaway spots. I have stayed her at least 3 times before and recommended it to others. I will not go back. My body is all bumped up and itchy.

We had a very functional stay here. It's an easy on and off I-95, and we took advantage of the proximity to the Delaware Park racetrack/casino. We were forced to change rooms because of a malfunctioning door lock that was apparently a previously known problem. The TV wasn't working properly in the new room, but we just decided not to change rooms again for our two-night stay. (Note to staff: Don't recommend the K-POT restaurant nearby; it was not a great experience after 10 hours on the road. The Dunkin' Donuts is convenient for breakfast though.)

I always book hotels that have a complementary breakfast. When I checked in, aside from not being able to understand what the attendant was saying, I was told that breakfast was no longer an option as they were undergoing renovations . There were no renovations to be seen It would be nice that I knew in advance that breakfast was not an option as I would never have stayed this hotel.. I was told to move my car to behind the hotel for easier access to my hotel room. When I moved my car, my room key did not operate the outside entrances. I had to then schlep all of my luggage to the front of the hotel and use the main entrance. When I brought this to the attention of the check-in attendant, I was told that there was nothing he could do as the keys were made in advance, and they couldn't do anything about it. So, using external doors was fine if you wanted to leave, but you had to come back in the main entrance. Ridiculously inconvenient. I don't think the hotel was super clean, but it wasn't terribly unbearable. The beds were very comfortable. However, the water in the tub did not drain efficiently. And I firmly believe that the hotel was understaffed. There was one person working behind the desk. And he actually had to leave his post to go help another guest to get into her room as her room key was not working similar to me. He was very friendly however you could tell that he was doing more than one job with minimal help I will never stay at this hotel again.

Front desk girl, didn’t get her name but brown hair with tattoos, was unprofessional and rude. When I asked if room would be ready by 4:00 ( checkin is at 3) she said would gladly give me a dirty room. Guess what, she did. Balcony was covered w cigarettes, candy wrappers and leaves that we’re probably there for over a year. Not sure what rodent was living underneath them. Hairs on bathroom floor ( short curly ones) and the carpet had not been vacuumed. Apparently she must of been reprimanded by someone because when I went back down to ask for either cleaning service, she switched our room, would not make eye contact and smirked the entire time but held back from her unprofessional attitude. A very kind staff member the next day apologized for her sassy attitude. Would never stay here again.

You get what you pay for! I selected this hotel because of the location and the price. The location was great, near shopping, restaurants and the highway. The hotel common areas furniture and carpeting were dirty, dingy and worn. I had to return to the reception desk multiple times and had to move my room twice before I got settled in a functioning room. The first room the television wasn't working, the second room door key did not open the door (a problem that I heard two other guests complain about) and the third room did not have an iron! I was in a last-minute pinch so it was O, K, but I would not go back there

Staff sudden appearance before checkout asking if im leaving, also had issues with room keycard when trying to enter room. Door swipe was faulty had to walk down to check in back and forth with new cards that still didnt work. After 6 trys they finally came up and unlocked very inconvenient. Was accused of being ignorant to staff whick ended up being manager who accused me of smoking and threatened 200$ fine when i dont even smoke. He was the same guy who popped up knocking before check out time when i had room booked already...thats when he made the accusations. They never asked if i wanted to switch rooms for the entry keycard issue. Had past issues getting deposit back. I am a VIP member and when getting snacks, drinks they asked me if i was paying cash when i have $11 credit per stay. Was always charged for this and ive stayed for double digit nights the last couple months. They never offer or tell you this they only let you know what you will be charged and threaten money being billed for any issue.

When checking in I wasn’t given my ID back and until I realized it I was away. Trying to get a hold of them was a mess. Line went to a reservation line and no one would help. The property could’ve at least called to mention they had my ID at the desk at least. Customer service isn’t the best on the phone.

This hotel sits back away from the street, which for me is a bonus! It wasn’t the most comfortable but was clean and quiet and the staff were helpful for the most part. I ended up paying for later checkout, and my only issue there is that my card was deactivated anyway and I had to go get it reactivated. Nothing egregious just slightly annoying after having been told I was all set. However, it’s in a convenient location which was nice.

Good budget hotel conveniently located in the Christiana Mall area. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable but hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The parking was also challenging when it’s full. The staff were polite and helpful. Would say good value for money.

Would’ve been nice to know that the complementary food service was closed down (do to lack of employment) before we got there. The people were friendly and did help (quickly) when we needed it. I don’t think we’ll be using them in the future though.

Was disappointed there was no coffee available to purchase at 7 on graduation Saturday. Was told there is a Dunkin’ Donuts down the road. I did like the happy hour at the lounge.
