My room was on the third floor and I have difficulty walking around and especially carrying a heavy bag. Parking was not acceptable to the elevator. The two keys given me one woke. The outside screening window was all the Used the lobby was locked.

The website indicated the place had been updated. My room had a lot of unrepaired damage to the room; ie: two holes in bathroom door from fist punch and the property badly needed mowing and upkeep. Do not stay there.

The credit card machine wasn't working so to check in took a while. I chose the room on the second floor and the elevator was on the end. The room was ridiculous hot and even with the AC blasting we could not get the temperature down so I was sweating all night long. The bathroom at mold and I couldn't find no ice machine. The room had the coffee machine and some coffee and creamers no microwave but the safe. 5 minutes driving there was a few restaurants but the area around the property look very didn't she and make me feel a little unsafe.

Avoid this property. It's not really even serving as a normal motel - probably surviving on Section 8 payments. Tended to be noisy at times since there were many families with kids living here. Especially tough if one needs to work and sleep odd hours. Rather than a Red Roof Inn PLUS+, we would call this a Red Roof Inn MINUS-. Front desk generally pleasant, but obviously not able to drive maintenance. Speaking of front desk, coffee maker in lobby was inoperable for several days of our stay for one reason or another (no water, no Nescafe 'instant' coffee, whatever). First room, 103. Took 15 minutes or more to get water hot enough for a shower. Answer: None. Sink drain stuck, couldn't empty water. Answer: they removed the plug. Needed a new fluorescent bulb above the sink. Answer: Fiddle with the switch. Guess they were out of bulbs. Was called at job site at 3:15 in the afternoon and advised that my room window was broken out. Was told I would have to change rooms. See photo. Was moved to room 315. Wonky toilet flush. Rather than complain, just lived with having to flush multiple times. Other issues as well. At least the hot water seemed to appear far more quickly than in 103.

When we arrived, the lobby was locked and we had to check in behind a glass window with a open door to pass paperwork through (we got there around 5:30 so still daylight out). We checked in and were given our room key. Walk into the room, turn the lights on and immediately roaches scatter. I called down to the desk and explained this and she immediately offered another 'premium' room. Walked into this room and no bugs (we checked everywhere). The bedding was great, room was nice and clean. We could tell this was a hotel where people were living. Everyone we encountered were super nice so it didn't bother us because we know times are hard. We didn't see any type of criminal activities, but, we went out to dinner and came back and there was a police vehicle driving through the parking lot. Although it made me feel safer, it also made me worry about what actually goes on there. Like I said though, everyone we encountered was very nice, respectful (even the youth), so we didn't stress over it. The TV in the room just said 'no service', but we were tired so that wasn't a big deal. When we went to leave the next morning, as soon as I opened the door all I could smell was weed (like overbearing as if they were standing outside our door). We were leaving so didn't bother me and it's something you smell everywhere now anyway. Overall the staff was great, the 2nd room ended up being great, but not somewhere I would pick to stay again if we traveled through here in the future.

Will not stay here again. Was there Thursday through Sunday and housekeeping never came to clean our room once. The bathtub was extremely slippery. My mother actually checked out that Friday and booked a room at another hotel. My nieces room had an odor and she had to buy a plug in to get rid of the smell. Overall not a good experience and we will not stay here again

This is the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The lobby is the only good thing about this hotel and that’s where it stops. we had to wait 45 minutes for our room to be ready even though it was already after 3 o’clock. I had to leave the lobby to wait outside because there’s only one employee who had to go physically check to see if rooms were ready. The rooms are disgusting. Everything is falling apart. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke. The TV didn’t work and basically we were told maintenance was already gone so there’s nothing they could do about it. Mold in the bathroom, broken faucet and a roach crawled on us in the middle of the night.

I knew it wouldn't be the best stay, but from the syart, check in was not smooth. Room absolutely reeked of stale cigarette smoke, to the point where I had a difficult time sleeping. Hair dryer did not work at all. Click did not work. Some black mold in ceiling. Soap products poor. Shower poor.

Initially we thought the property was a bit run down, there were clearly people living there. The room itself seemed decent enough but we got BEDBUGS. My boyfriend and I have not stayed anywhere else besides this property and all of a sudden we have bedbugs? Absolutely disgusting. This place is run down and cheap for a reason. Do NOT stay here if you respect yourself.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! It’s filthy! Bedbugs roaches. Most disgusting hotel ever. When they were informed they did not care and made no accommodations! Do not waste your money on them. I have never had such a horrible experience with a hotel like I did with this one.

The hotel was loud, a lady was screaming for about 2 hours, didn’t feel safe. Room was supposed to be non-smoking but the room smelled like cigarettes. Saw a lot of people walking around and smoking outside my room. Customer service was great, fast and easy check-in. The bed was comfortable, room needs to be upgraded, very old.

The bed was comfortable and clean, the A/C worked well, but the room had a strange smell, possibly a smoking room when I asked for non-smoking, not sure. The room furniture is very old and falling apart, drawers do not open/close well, vinyl falling off the particle board. No one answered when I called the front desk. It was ok for a one night stay.

Older hotel showing its age. Opted for the “Premium” room which was clean and had all the typical features. It’s set back from the main road but a bonus is that you pass a lot of meal options and fuel.

When we got there to check in, they had the reservation, but were sold out of rooms so they couldn’t honor it. They had never contacted us ahead of time to let us know. It’s was parents weekend for my daughter’s college and everywhere was sold out and they couldn’t give us a room or explain why this happened. It was exactly like the Seinfeld rental car scene. Worst and most baffling hotel experience I’ve ever had.

At check-in, I was greeted with: “Have you paid for the reservation? We’re full. All unpaid reservations have been cancelled. There are no rooms available.” I planned to pay on arrival, but the credit card was already billed. This is the 1st time I had to pay an additional deposit on the credit card of $100 for possible damages. I hope I get it back.

This was a horrible experience! We booked a room there for Parents’ weekend advance. They called us at 6p the night of while we were out with our college son at an event to tell us they canceled our reservation with no explanation!? We had to scramble to find a room when there were no rooms available anywhere! We ended up sleeping at a roach motel that night! And did not refund us the money on top of that!! I tried calling them multiple times and they answer! They ruined our weekend with our son… I’m extremely disappointed.

We didnt even get to check in. We arrived at 7:00 to check into our room. Upon checkin we were told that our room was given away. The only explanation we were given by the extremely rude desk lady was because we didnt pay when we booked. We book hotels all the time and never had to prepay. Then to find out that they charged my card but then took it back, not once but twice? Will be calling the hotel directly tomorrow

I was so unhappy with my experience at this location! I got to the location on time, I went to the front desk to check in, they told me that there were no rooms available, even though they saw my reservation. I shared that I had a reservation, they agreed. He said it didn't matter, I said why didn't you call me to let me know that it was canceled, I drove from Maryland here for a reason. I have an event to attend and that caused me to be late! I was so upset! I had to go across the street to The hotel 🏨 there paid lot of money for me to get a room. When we arrived, the lobby was locked and we had to check in behind a glass window with a open door to pass paperwork through (we got there around 5:30 so still daylight out). We checked in and were given our room key. Walk into the room, turn the lights on and immediately roaches scatter. I called down to the desk and explained this and she immediately offered another 'premium' room. Walked into this room and no bugs (we checked everywhere). The bedding was great, room was nice and clean. We could tell this was a hotel where people were living. Everyone we encountered were super nice so it didn't bother us because we know times are hard. We didn't see any type of criminal activities, but, we went out to dinner and came back and there was a police vehicle driving through the parking lot. Although it made me feel safer, it also made me worry about what actually goes on there. Like I said though, everyone we encountered was very nice, respectful (even the youth), so we didn't stress over it. The TV in the room just said 'no service', but we were tired so that wasn't a big deal. When we went to leave the next morning, as soon as I opened the door all I could smell was weed (like overbearing as if they were standing outside our door). We were leaving so didn't bother me and it's something you smell everywhere now anyway. Overall the staff was great, the 2nd room ended up being great, but not somewhere I would pick to stay again if we traveled through here in the future.

My experience at this location was not good. The area felt unsafe, and there were several people outside doing drugs and smoking. The rooms were okay, but I noticed cockroaches running around, which was very unpleasant. Also, even though the property clearly says “No Smoking,” people were smoking upstairs, and the smell carried through the hallways. Overall, I did not feel comfortable staying here.

Listen, for a $99 hotel room, this met my needs. The room was clean, I had a place to sleep and bathe and it was super convenient to SO many restaurants and shopping. Was the clientele concerning? The man riding his bike around the second floor was annoying and the all night cornhole games on the lot next door was loud, but we were there for two nights. Was great for what I needed when I needed it. Also, the staff was really nice. Will I be back? I’m not violently opposed but I definitely appreciated being introduced to a fun new area.

When we first arrived to the hotel, the guest infront of us was screaming at the person behind the desk saying that when they checked into their room, the sheets were covered in fecal matter and dog prints. He even showed us pictures of it. It smelled like “skunk” all throughout the lobby and even in our room. Since the stairwell is public there were random people running around all night. There were gunshots right below us at around midnight. Not a safe place to stay especially with kids.

The room was very comfortable. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty however, which was a problem. Very courteous staff. Restaurant next door - The Greene Turtle - was excellent. We had all of our meals there.

Fantastic service from check-in, reception, the Very good experience here. I had to stay here for a night and I believe the kind woman at the front desk, showed kindness and had a huge heart.. they got me in early, upgraded my room for me without me asking since I wanted an upper floor. The coffee was good.. thank you Redroof staff you were all wonderful. The room was very clean and spacious I love the decorations of the room, bed was super comfy thank you

Avoid this property. It's not really even serving as a normal motel - probably surviving on Section 8 payments. Tended to be noisy at times since there were many families with kids living here. Especially tough if one needs to work and sleep odd hours. Rather than a Red Roof Inn PLUS+, we would call this a Red Roof Inn MINUS-. Front desk generally pleasant, but obviously not able to drive maintenance. Speaking of front desk, coffee maker in lobby was inoperable for several days of our stay for one reason or another (no water, no Nescafe 'instant' coffee, whatever). First room, 103. Took 15 minutes or more to get water hot enough for a shower. Answer: None. Sink drain stuck, couldn't empty water. Answer: they removed the plug. Needed a new fluorescent bulb above the sink. Answer: Fiddle with the switch. Guess they were out of bulbs. Was called at job site at 3:15 in the afternoon and advised that my room window was broken out. Was told I would have to change rooms. See photo. Was moved to room 315. Wonky toilet flush. Rather than complain, just lived with having to flush multiple times. Other issues as well. At least the hot water seemed to appear far more quickly than in 103.
