Great value for money. Helpful staff. Good location. I would definitely go back if aircon installed during hot months. Staff provided a fan for use in the room which was helpful but still quite hot! Visited end of July.

So glad this hotel has re opened. The staff are super friendly. The room was spotlessly clean. Compliments to the chef for a yummy cooked to order breakfast and there is also a bar and restaurant. Plenty of on site parking for £5 per night. Right next to the train station for a shopping trip to Birmingham. We will visit again Thank you

Not a hotel for guests with mobility problems. The hotel is on many levels, all requiring stair climbing. Our problems:- 1. stiffling rooms, without A/C, 2. potentially being charged for breakfast after booking B&B, 3. inconsistent room service and having to request towels-tea making items-room cleaning, 4. car parking being charged at five pounds per night and finding no places to park. On a positive side the majority of front line staff were very good, obviously wanting to look after their guests to the best of their ability. Two staff stand out, Susan in reception who sorted out the double charging for breakfast and the problems with house keeping, and Amina from the dining room who with her happy disposition made us feel at ease. Breakfast was very good, and plentiful. I booked a premium room which was quite small, I suspect the only difference to a standard room was a coffee maker and a bath instead of a shower. When queering the room we were offered a larger room, which was a accessible room on the ground floor. We were surprised to find that it was off a corridor housing the laundry room complete with laundry trollies partly blocking the access. This could be a major problem for a wheelchair in an emergency. This hotel needs a major overhall to bring it up to modern conditions.

Nice hotel next to the station really good for getting too Birmingham moor street, 10 minutes tops. Nice breaky. Only issue I had water ran out on my shower so I had limited water and no hot water. I had the small room 101. I think it's on a smaller water tank.
