Property beginning to be dated. Might be time to start some renovations. Disappointed the pool wasn't open.

Convient location, staff was excellent, property/rooms dated need update. Was expecting to use pool only to find it will be closed until sometime next year.

Giant potholes on sole entrance into hotel (road between Denny’s and Cracker Barrel). Great experience otherwise!

We chose this hotel because it had the highest ratings from previous users. When we arrived, it seemed it was in a state of dis repair. Smelled of paint and sheet rock mud but we didn’t see any evidence of that. We were on the fourth floor and the elevator was broken.

The elevator didn’t work and everyone had to lug baggage up and down the stairs. No one around to help either if needed. Guest liability and safety not a concern because I think this elevator has been out AWHILE. And still charging the full rate. Heavy police presence at 3am for no reason it seemed, no one was up or around - and this property is off the highway and pretty secluded. They made me uncomfortable.

The room was clean, and close to where we wanted to go; however, we were located on the 3rd floor; elevator was broken. Someone staying with us with mobility issues and stairs a challenge. Also, phone not working in the room.

The staff was helpful and friendly. However, the hotel is worn, the elevator was broken and we had a late check in with only room available on 4th floor with lots of heavy luggage. The room smelled musty and there were fans in hallway drying out what appeared to be wet carpet.

I liked this Marriott because parking was always available close to the lobby and the grounds are well-lit and nicely designed. I enjoy the big trolleys and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Most of the staff are generally nice, but a couple of them aren't really interested beyond checking you in and checking you out. What I didn't like about this particular Marriott was that the elevator was broken and needed to be serviced for over two weeks. We stayed here at the end of one month and came back at least two weeks later and the elevator still hadn't been fixed. The inconvenience was palpable as I had both luggage, food, and a toddler to go up to the second floor. I was lucky that it wasn't a 3rd or 4th...

The driveway and parking areas not only looked shabby, but the pot holes were big and plentiful. The interior of the motel and the staff were very good. Rennovations were obvious!

The parking lot has too many pot holes. Be carefulnwith your car.

Room smelled musty and moldy

The shower had mold all over and there was a black hair in the shower. We didn't take shower there. It was disgusting. Breakfast was ok

Room had a moldy smell as soon as we entered. Ceiling was dirty and moldy. Carpet was damp and had smell. For cost we paid for room it was well below expectations.

Check in was smooth and straightforward. Disappointed that only 2 large towels were provided (as the previous night's Marriott provided 4). The most annoying issue was that the wall-mounted shower gel / body wash bottle was completely empty, and the conditioner bottle ran out after one use. These need to be checked before any guest occupies rooms (Ours was 320). There was also mould on the ceiling as there was no extractor fan in the bathroom. Strangely, a sign at reception stated that the outdoor pool was closed for the season - in August??? The hotel is very convenient for Albany, and has a Cracker Barrel restaurant, and a Denny's restaurant on either side.

The front desk woman was super sweet and efficient. She informed us the elevator is broken. We're able people, no biggie. Come to find out it's been broken over a month by a family member who stayed there recently and ended up switching hotels because of it. The room was filthy. Questionable splatter on the walls, mold on the curtain above the heating/cooling system.. meaning when then air blew it was blowing those spores all over the room. Mold on the ceiling in the bedroom area. Down the walls. Bathroom had mold as well, no ventilation. Rust on the metal hinges and discoloration in the shower. The toilet seat wobbly. The beds... so not comfortable. Worn in pillows. A thin pad protector between sheet and mattress. There was serious plumbing work being done, the racket of their construction bellowed through the whole building. You could hear everything. For the quality, the price was FAR higher than it should be. This was roadside motel cleanliness and quality for commercial hotel pricing. Will NOOOT be staying here and should have listened to my family who suggested we stay at the Holiday Inn 2 minutes down the road.

The room had a musty smell. Housekeeping was to clean room every other day which was fine, although the day they cleaned the room they only made one bed not the other and replaced only two towels and not the other two dirty towels. Will not stay there again.

Could have been cleaner in the bathroom

Clean, staff was friendly, decent breakfast for no additional charge.

No complaints except I didn’t expect my room to be right near the elevator and ice machine . alot of noise when trying to sleep .

Driveway entrance not well marked. Room walls are paper thin, could easily hear conversations in the next room. Breakfast was very good.

Right off I90. Nice decor, clean rooms although walls pretty thin. Can hear next room. Checkin was good however we were not asked for our Marriott number. For this one night trip, we booked thru Expedia because we had accumulated points there and had to use and know that our stay would not earn points. However we should have been asked because not everyone books a Marriott stay thru Marriott website for various reasons but do enjoy stays and consistency of a Marriott hotel. When not asked, we offered but we were just told we booked thru Expedia and wont get points which we already knew. My husband is a loyal Marriott bonvoy member and should have been greeted as such regardless of how we booked this stay.

The hotel was clean and nice. The only downside was the TV didn’t work. It would power on and the Marriott stuff would come up but when you went to actual channels it would stay black. Told the front desk and they offered to change rooms but that was more of a hassle having to repack everything.

The hotel is ok, just needs a renovation. Looks older, not very updated. Tv runs off internet which was deathly slow making tv watching a hassle.

It was a clean and peaceful place but i had a sink with crack mark ,and the room was not too spacious.

For two nights a group of guests were allowed to have a party outside in the rear of the hotel - loud music, drinking, yelling. Not ending til almost 11 pm. Did not end even when I complained. No room cleaning unless asked after 2 nights - was told by Manager she would “see if I was on the list.” Coffee packets in the room only decaf and not refreshed.

Very friendly and helpful staff made all the difference.

I was driving for a few hours and needed to stop and reset. Check in is usually 3pm and the guy working the front desk was very accommodating with early check in.

Staff was very welcoming, attentive and professional. Would happily stay here again should I return.

We reserved through Expedia. We called the hotel and advices of a late 4am arrival due to a flight delay. The hotel staff stated they would note our late arrival. Once we arrived at the hotel at 4am, we were told they overbooked and had no rooms available. We had to leave.

The staff looked like they would rather be anywhere but there. When we arrived at about 6:30 in the evening, the cleaning staff was still cleaning rooms. (Ours was ready; it could be they were short staffed). Breakfast was limited. The front desk person in the morning was more engaged in conversation with a guest who just kept gabbing on and on that the front desk person did not notice we were trying to check out. Anyone else would have cut off the gabbing person and tended to the guest trying to check out. I cut in front of the guest and said we were checking out and left.

Our stay was perfect. They let my new found relatives and I meet in the dining room as long as we wanted. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I’m from Nevada- my daughter from Canada- but my relatives were all from Albany. They recommended we stay with you. Great recommendation!!!!

Not a destination hotel, and I wasn't expecting one. Good location immediately east of downtown Albany near highway, shopping and food. Room was good, but I was a bit close to the ice machine and elevator for my liking. However, I was able to check in early, so it's a fair trade. Nice breakfast selections.

This hotel served its purpose for our family on our road trip through NY State. It is just off the highway, clean and check in was quick. There is very limited dining and not much else around the hotel. There is a Denny’s & Cracker Barrel in walking distance, everything else is a short drive away.

One night stay close to Amtrak

Clean, easy to get to. Many restaurants near by we ate at the recovery was awesome sports bar. Hotel super close to the mvp arena was perfect.. breakfast was fantastic Will definitely stay here again….

Convient location for our "pass through" trip between Vermont and New York

I just stayed the night, but the hotel was easy to find, comfortable and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's very convenient to I-90 for those who want to stay in the Albany area.

it's next to 2 places to eat. Right down the road is a gas station & coffee shop.

I have stayed at this hotel twice while driving to Connecticut. It's the perfect place to rest for the night and have a great drive the next day. The hotel is conveniently located near highways with plenty of options for eating and shopping for last-minute essentials. The staff is super nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

I enjoyed the cleanlines, the friendliness of the staff. Wonderful breakfast. Not super fancy but decent, and great staff.

The elevator didn't work the whole time during our stay. Juice machine didn't work either during breakfast hours. I have to got to the near by sotre to get Juice for breakfast. Very old room.

We had great rooms at fair prices and the hotel was very conveniently located for us. Staff was present and constantly cleaning. Breakfast was great and they accommodated us to be able to grab a couple items early, before its opening time. The little things like that leave a great impression.
