The location to the expressway was good and the facility had ample parking. Although the room was not very clean. The mirrors, counter tops, door handles, doors themselves, in addition to the entrance glass were in need of cleaning. One can distinguish between daily soiling and neglected dirt- this facility needs a better set of eyes to see the areas of attention.

Ordered king room got queen room .No coffe maker was told they didnt have any.no pots and pans they did not have. Room smelled like an old basement had to buy a candle. Mentioned it to the counter and said we had no more rooms. Not at all what i expected woke up early and ran out.my wife and i travel alot and i have stayed at some crappy hotels ,but atleast they had a coffee maker in it elevator was broke the next morning as well

I don’t recommend unless perhaps you’re staying long term, have an inexpensive rate & you intend on buying all food including coffee. Amenities are free parking & friendly staff.

It had nice hot water, the beds were big enough and comfortable enough. So were some of the pillows. I didn’t like the kitchen, the carpet was old and VERY dirty. Also, the breakfast was deplorable. The rooms need work… walls, ceilings redone and repainted, stop allowing people to smoke in ANY of the rooms(could smell smoke EVERYWHERE). Also, I couldn’t take a bath because the plug for the drain was removed and the plug that pulls up to make it into a shower was unable to be moved. The security lock had very loose screws. No ice machine that we saw. Had to wait to check out as no one was there. Sign said they would be back soon!! Afternoon employee was very nice and helpful.

The place appears to have the same carpet and fixtures as it did when it was built in the 1950s. The carpet had stains, like from vomit, and the trim was falling off the walls. No shampoo or conditioner, bar soap only. It was awful.

Our check in was slow. The hotel room was run down and not clean. Linens were clean, but floors, walls, bathroom, and kitchen were dirty. Overall the place was rundown. When we found what seemed to be a bed bug in the morning, the front desk attendant met us with annoyance. They were rude and asked, "what do you want us to do?". Only as an afterthought did they come up to the room after we were trying to get ready to leave. We weren't left with many options booking last minute. However, id wished we'd have booked a more expensive hotel and saved ourselves headaches and worries.

Our room was dirty! Gritty floor with coins on the floor. The room had an odd Oder, smelled like dirt. The hallways and elevator smelled an ashtray. There was hair in the bathtub. Comfortable was stained, bed very uncomfortable. Could hear walked from upstairs. Doors slamming after midnight. Breakfast was awful. Would never comeback

The first room smelled of heavy smoke. The front desk employee was very understanding and tried to spray a deodorizer but it still smelled. We moved to another room. It didn’t smell but the air conditioning was not working and the floor wasn’t clean.

The room was dirty. The above was awful with Burned stuff inside. The floors were dirty, the walls had stains and the bathroom had hair on the floor. Sorry the area is great but the room we got was no even enough to consider a one star.

For the price the room was spacious and clean. The entire first floor smelled like wet dog. The 2nd floor smelled like smoke or pot (alternating) and the 3rd floor smelled like something cooking??? A baby was often crying and various people were arguing often. Felt like many guests were residents. No lid for coffee cups and we only got 1 plate after I begged at the front desk for him to wash one for us. Place was kind of a dump, but we only stayed 1 night so it was fine.

The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. Towels were clean and fresh. The receptionists were friendly and thoughtful. The room appeared clean but the property definitely needs an overhaul. The facilities and rooms are well-used and need new carpets & paint, etc. The room smelled heavily of smoke, my bag & clothes smelled strongly of it after I left. Overall, I feel it’s reasonable for the price but probably wouldn’t stay again unless they did some updates and renovations like carpets and painting.

I had particular requirements for my room. I needed a kitchen and I had a price requirement. Both were met. The staff were incredibly nice and kind, easily reachable and answered all my questions easily. However, this is not a property I'd stay at again. While the rooms were clean, for the most part - the floor could've used more sweeping and mopping, they were dark and had only a small window for light. Not many upgrades made any time recently, and the stove in the unit didn't work well (took me 20 - 30 minutes to brown sausage in a pan, no joke). I needed a full kitchen and while it did have an oven, the stove gave me no hope that the oven would work either. The walls were incredibly thin so I heard housekeeping outside my door and in the hallway as well as my neighbor upstairs. The area was walkable though, and had beautiful trees so I did walk a bit. There was a yoga studio right across the street and a Trader Joe's just up the way.

Although it was pretty dated decor and furnishings, it had a full sized kitchen and two desks which was handy for working. It seemed clean but there was a bit of an odor in the hallways and room, I’m guessing from various foods being made in the rooms. Overall pretty good. Great value for the price I paid. I will likely stay here again should the need arise.

Check-in went fine and the man at the front desk was nice. The room was spacious and clean with no smoke smell! We got a great price and we're very happy with how clean the room was. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bed was very uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were very hard and it made it hard to stay asleep.

Toilet did not work for the whole time we were there. They did not fix it because they dont have any maintenance in weekend. Front office people has no courtesy, just being rude. Please avoid at every cost.

Upon having such a hard time. Finding my reservation, I cussed the front desk guy out. Nice man. Helpful. I realized shortly after leaving that, my reservation through the app I was using. Was booked for another hotel. I. The area. He did not deserve the tongue lashing

We've stayed here once before and the room was clean and the stay was fine, but this time we arrived to a dirty hotel room. There was smeared makeup on the counters in the bathroom, the floors were stained and filthy and the room smelled. But that wasn't the worst part, a little past midnight a group of about 7 people came into our room with a working key card. That was terrifying because we had our child in there with us. Apparently the front desk gave them the wrong room key.
We've stayed here once before and the room was clean and the stay was fine, but this time we arrived to a dirty hotel room. But that wasn't the worst part, a little past midnight a group of about 7 people came into our room with a working key card. That was terrifying because we had our child in there with us. We enjoyed our experience overall. It was quiet, room was spacious and clean. Only issue was we came down for coffee and the "grab n go" breakfast. There was a sign up on desk saying attendee will be back soon that was at 6am after 8am and sign was still up.

I had particular requirements for my room. I needed a kitchen and I had a price requirement. Both were met. The staff were incredibly nice and kind, easily reachable and answered all my questions easily. However, this is not a property I'd stay at again. While the rooms were clean, for the most part - the floor could've used more sweeping and mopping, they were dark and had only a small window for light. Not many upgrades made any time recently, and the stove in the unit didn't work well (took me 20 - 30 minutes to brown sausage in a pan, no joke). I needed a full kitchen and while it did have an oven, the stove gave me no hope that the oven would work either. The walls were incredibly thin so I heard housekeeping outside my door and in the hallway as well as my neighbor upstairs. The area was walkable though, and had beautiful trees so I did walk a bit. There was a yoga studio right across the street and a Trader Joe's just up the way.

The area of the hotel is very nice, lots of restaurants and even a grocery store. Staff was friendy and very helpful. The hotel itself was not the cleanest unfortunately, hallways had a bad smell so did the elevator. Had to switch rooms too due to first room not being cleaned properly and smell of cigarette.

The property needs updates, very old. But, beds were comfortable, room was big. Residents hang outside in sitting area all day.. heard some loud incidents The grab and go breakfast was promptly all taken by residents, and was gone right away. When asked at the desk was told none left. When checking out, no one was around desk to get receipt ..Was told by another employee the desk clerk would be gone for about 10 min...we just left. Would not return...It's a shame, because it is in a nice area...near Crocker Park and great for walking the dog.

Quiet area. The breakfast was grab and go. The entry doors are not automatic nor do they have stops that a short person could reach. This made moving a cart in and out cumbersome for a single traveler. It was a nice neighborhood to walk my dog.

I tried to book thru the hotel but no one answered the phone. The rep at the desk didn't act like it was a problem. I told him i called several times. It was a nice hotel with no problems. Bed was comfy. Grab and go breakfast was done at 9:30 on the dot!

The place is dated and not maintained , you get what you pay for. There is no real breakfast it’s packaged oatmeal with no bowls and packaged mini muffin that’s it. The room hadn’t been clean , the linen was stained even after asking for Fresh. The hotel is old and run down. Window had painted shim wood and looked pieced together. Halls smelled of animal urine. Rooms had an odor so bad I sprayed my clothes with deodorant before getting into my car. The room keys had to be reprogrammed more than once. Breakfast was almost nonexistent, coffee and muffin. Oatmeal packet and a cup to eat out of. The bedding was the worst I've ever encountered in a hotel, a thin sheet and thin blanket with another sheet on top. They were just unbelievable. I wanted to leave but the other hotels near where i wanted to be were full.

It had nice hot water, the beds were big enough and comfortable enough. So were some of the pillows. I didn’t like the kitchen, the carpet was old and VERY dirty. Also, the breakfast was deplorable. The rooms need work… walls, ceilings redone and repainted, stop allowing people to smoke in ANY of the rooms(could smell smoke EVERYWHERE). Also, I couldn’t take a bath because the plug for the drain was removed and the plug that pulls up to make it into a shower was unable to be moved. The security lock had very loose screws. No ice machine that we saw. Had to wait to check out as no one was there. Sign said they would be back soon!! Afternoon employee was very nice and helpful.

The room smelled like someone chain smoked for 10 years, left out dirty socks, burned oil, and then burned incense to try and mask the smell. It literally made me sick staying in this room. The bathroom light was SO dim, it was pointless to even have it. nd breakfast was one flavor granola bar and one flavor muffin.

This is a no Frills hotel clean, and friendly staff . Convenient to the freeway , and Crocker Park ,and restaurants. Mike,and Zack at the desk they are awesome very helpful. I totally recommend, in safe area as well.

The room was very spacious which was nice. The hotel could really use some updating. Rugs need to be replaced. The restroom in the lobby was not able to be used. The cart for luggage was broken and hard to use.
