We love the pool, it was crystal crear, very clean and super big, the Hotel facility and the room was bad, and the receptionists at the front desk was very rude, i don't remember her name but i think that starts with a S

Front desk was always not staffed, and you had to wait for someone to show up. Elevators near the lobby were not working. For utensils you had to go to front desk and ask and they were short of them.

My rental was stolen. They had roaches. The pool wasn't clean for at least a week. No housekeeping. No breakfast

HORRIBLE. The Extended Stay hotel we chose on Miami blvd switched us to another on slater ave , supposedly due to a fire that created a power issue. The alternate hotel was under renovation, there was no staff available after 9 pm until 10 am the next morning, no hair dryer was available, the place was filthy, no breakfast or gym were available (which were both advertised). Absolutely MISERABLE.

A garbage bag was lying in the hallway over night plus some garbage on the hallway floor. Carpets looked generally dirty. The elevator was not particularly clean either and made strange noises when moving, leaving me to wonder if I will make it to the next floor. The device to open the door, that reads the room key worked very poorly, requiring to insert and remove the room key many times until it was recognized. This was not an issue with the room key, because it worked flawlessly on the outside doors of the facility. The room itself had a musky odor, the lamp cover in the kitchen area was partially disconnected, and the bathtub was extremely slippery and had a U-shaped bottom, making it a challenge not to fall. Free breakfast was included in the stay, but only coffee and quaker oatmeal was provided, no milk for the oatmeawl, no yoghurt, nothing else. Since the stay included breakfast, I feel taken advantage of, because I was charged for something that was not provided. I have stayed in an extended stay America before, about 20 years ago in West-Sacramento. At the time that stay was not great, but acceptable. The Extended Stay America in Raleigh, NC did not meet that threshold. I felt uncomfortable there and I would not recommend that place to anybody.

Run down, roaches in the rooms, there was NO breakfast. They said on the go all they had was hot chocolate,packs of grits and nutra grain bars that is it and it was on a cart on the lobby not even the breakfast room. I SPECIFICALLY book because it said ot had breakfast. The bathroom door was broken off the hinge so you could barely shut bathroom door. People outside smoking right outside doors and guys smoking marijuana at the pool. They do not even have ice machines. This is more like apartments, u can tell alot of those people live there and treat it as such. I have stayed inmuch nicer places for the same money. Never again

This place was okay for a very short stay. When we walked in, the lobby area had a very strong smell of garlic. You had to wait at the front desk for a while before someone came and finally checked you in. There’s a $100 “refundable deposit” that you have to pay. ( still waiting on the refund) The elevator is very old. The area where the buttons are located was barely on the wall and was missing pieces. You could see the wires. Our room also had a very strong smell when we entered. It was clean but I sprayed Clorox and Lysol to try and get rid of the smell. If you have a sofa pull out bed, you have to get the sleeping materials from the front desk because they don’t keep them in the rooms. The walls, floors and doors could use some upgrades. I was scared to use the microwave because the wall outlet was hanging off and wires were exposed. The air worked fine. We were able to sleep peacefully without loud noises. The bathtub needed to be clean because we found hair in there. Check out is at 11:00. It was 10:30am when someone knocked on the door. I was in the process of getting dressed and the door opened but luckily we had the bar on the door. I told the guy it was not 11:00 yet but he asked us if we were checking out or staying another night. I informed him we were checking out. I didnt like the fact he opened the door. Someone from the front desk could have called the room. Overall, the hotel isn’t terrible. We didn’t see any bugs.

Not a pleasant stay: 1. We arrived at around 7 pm no one was at the front desk and there was no way to ring a bell so we had to yell “Hello”! 2. The check-in process was long and we didn’t get all of our questions answered, such as “which direction is the room”— because by the time we gathered our belongings the desk clerk was gone. 3. Hotel seemed like there was as issue previously because there were dehumidifiers all over the halls and we had to walk through a plastic barrier to get to our room. 4. There was a small pile of dirt in the hallway that no one cleaned up. 5. There was a roach in the room 6. Tiles in bathroom were dirty. 7. TV didn’t work and we had to fix it ourselves, because the front desk was unavailable. 8. Room key didn’t work when we got back to our room at around midnight, but no one was at the front desk. We also tried to call—no answer. We had to wake my 80 year old mother in law so the kids could open the door. I am from the DC area and our Extended Stays are top tier. I guess the same doesn’t apply in NC.

Absolutely amazing the staff were great and Mr. Chad was amazing. My family and I enjoyed the pool the grilling area and our room was nice. It was spacious and everything was working.

Constantly got locked out of our room due to broken door . Pretty dirty . Understaffed , although the staff that was there was nice , they are not able to keep up with things due to the horrible conditions. Weird smell . Had to leave because they were renovating beds which we found out upon arrival.

GROSS property , walked into my room that had a horrible urine smells (which they knew airing it out windows open) then look on the floor to find half dead Roaches fighting for their lives. Checked out quickly and hit a marriott . Front desk

AC didn't work, blood stain on the sheets, tobacco on the couch, and ROACHES! One even fell out of my daughters clothes as she was gathering up her stuff to leave.

Horrible experience!!!! No good service, not a clean place. Its very dirty and nasty disgusting ill never be renting this again and i recommend everybody not to do it. Poor quality , no extra towels. No housekeeping at all.!!!!! There are roaches. The bathtub is all messed up. The room smells bad. If i could leave - stars i would!!!!!

We booked 2 nights and only stayed 1. The bathroom door was broken; if you closed it, you were stuck and required someone from outside to help. The shower curtain was far too short (for a bathtub!) and flooded the bathroom. There were bugs, the floor was sticky, and it was clear no one had swept from the dirt and debris on the ground. Dirty kitchenette. No outlets near the bed nightstand. There was supposed to be a “grab and go” breakfast from 6:30-9 but when we went down at 8 there was nothing but a coffee cart, no food. We sought a refund for the one night we left but the property didn’t even bother responding.

The property was nasty and full of roaches. The reservation was for 4 days but the actual stay was less then 4 hours. Check-out with folio (receipt) to validate. The phone number doesn't work and Expedia is upholding standing the nasty vendor. They said they continue to email and there is no redponse from the hotel. What the hell is this type of crap. Im going to look into taking this matter to small ckaims court.

It’s a good location and the lady at the front desk was very nice. My room was not well cleaned at all. I was uncomfortable due to this and as I checked in for 2 nights I didn’t stay the 2nd night for that reason. The toilet wasn’t clean, floors not swept. Popcorn ceiling tile bits were on the floors with basic traffic debris. Bath counter, wall and pix frame had lotion on them. Not hard to see items but obvious. Everywhere and else seemed fine except the room not being cleaned.

Cockroaches are running in the bathroom and towels are with hairs. Smell really bad and we don’t have a good time staying here.

This property looked nothing like the photos or any other extended stay I’ve been to! Major upgrades are needed and an exterminator is greatly needed for in the few minutes I was in the room before asking for my refund, roaches were running in and out of the A/C unit and the couch! I do not recommend, extremely dirty…

Very dirty. Cockroaches, moldy shower, pullout bed was stain soaked, had crumbs in it, springs poking through. Recliner broken, screens ripped floors sticky. To-go breakfast only offered packets of grits and a couple of granola bars. Each night the security doors were held open with rock so anyone could walk in. It was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

Too dirty and the light in the room didn’t have a switch to turn it off.

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and received a room with 2 full sized beds. I went to the desk and let them know. I was shown another room that was supposed to have queen beds and they were full sized as well. Desk clerk agreed they looked small. That was it.

Extremely loud. Teens hanging out in the hallway making rude comments to other guests (my 12 year old was one of them) bathroom hot water didn’t really work plus it was covered in mold. One of the ac-units sounded like a busted rusted old ford truck trying to crank. Walked in the room and it was supposed to be smoke free but smelt like a bunch of people decided to smoke some herbs and I’m not talking about oregano. Best part was you had to turn your head alittle to the left to watch tv cause I’m 95% sure it was leaning on its last leg. We had to clean it before we felt ok staying in the room. Bring cleaner and earbuds if you choose to stay here. Last but not least make sure you check on your cars because some of the guest staying like to walk around them to see what you have inside. I stood in my room and watched someone walk around my car twice. Thank the Lord they didn’t see anything they needed.

The carpet in the room was dirty. The bathtub was not clean. the tub was chipped. The refrigerator was leaking water. There was a table to eat at if you chose to but, no chairs. No coffee table in the room. Walked in the room and it smelled very musty. The room appeared to me that it was in need of renovation. The room was very much outdated. The electrical outlets near the kitchen above the table, wasn't working. This was my first and last time staying at Extended Stay od America.

It is absolutely an older hotel, can really use an upgrade. Really needs a new makeover. Tiles not good in the bathroom, nail clippings in the corner. Curtains did not close properly, microwave definitely needs replacing. Remote control did not work, they had no replacements or batteries Refrigerator needs parts. 100% needs to be renovated..

The price was right and the bed was nice and comfortable. That said I wondered why the people across the hall had a towel sticking out from under their door. Turns out there was a 1 inch gap between the door and the floor which let all hallway noise into my room. I copied the towel trick. Aside from that the property is showing a good amount of wear and tear; carpet coming up, carpet staples sticking out of the floor, dings and dents and holes in the walls. There was hair that was not mine on the shower walls. The floor in the elevator was quite dirty and needed a good mopping. That said I never felt unsafe and the staff was helpful when they were available. The “we’re away right now” sign was up a lot at the front desk.

The check-in process was very easy and the person behind the desk was very nice and professional. But coming in the room, 2 lamps didn’t work. We paid for a queen size beds. But in reality was Full size beds. Uncomfortable fit. False Advertising. The water was leaking all through the night in the shower, couldn’t turn it off. You could hear people walking around all night above us. Just a very unpleasant stay for one night.

The room was clean. But for extended stay property there was no dishes,no utensils, nothing to cook with. No coffee pot. The bathroom door would not shut.

The clerk, Gia, explained I would need to cancel through Expedia. After several attempts of calling, they were not able to grant me a refund for a room that I did not stay in. The clerk lied and stated my card was never charged and that no one called while I stood there and told her my card was charged and I heard the phone ringing. I would like to report this clerk. There was trash in the hallways as well, which gave me an unpleasant feeling. If I could give it zero Stars, I would.

The staf is very friendly and try and help you and make sure your stay is excellent and that you feel comfortable.

It was close to my destination and it was reasonably priced.

Asking $100 deposit on a $70 room and not disclosing that information is ridiculous. Not to mention the $20 Uber ride I took because the hotel was not close to airport at all.

It’s a good, safe, cheap option in a convenient location. We’ve stayed here before and will again. Room was mostly clean but there were a few dead bugs. No living ones. The shower water was very difficult to turn. Bed was comfy and we slept great.

The reservation was non refundable and then when I get to the hotel, I had to pay an additional 100.00 (hold). After traveling for 3 hours, I had to use the bathroom desperately, I was told the lobby bathroom was broken. The nearest elevator was also broken. The bed in the room was hard and uncomfortable as if you can feel springs in the mattress. The toilet was not cleaned properly and the tub was so worn, we didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower. Although the rug was dark, it too was dirty. Why haven’t they switched to laminate floors? I paid almost $200.00 for 1 night in this hotel that was clearly worth a no name, truck stop MOTEL price. Also, the ad states breakfast, which was coffee, and oatmeal, grits packages! I was very UNSATISFIED!!! And felt like the add was a LIE!

Had an overnight stay. Sydney was very helpful and nice. It sucks that there was a required deposit because it didn’t state that anywhere on the hotels.com website. Also their breakfast was nutrigrain bars and oatmeal packets. They have a large dining room I wish there could be an actual breakfast provided. Got what we paid for though room was huge! Perfect for my family of 4

We had a problem with our room at first, but staff promptly changed us room and apologized the problem. Please be aware breakfast is only coffee, tea or chocolate; instant oatmeal or grits; and some snacks.

The hotel was below average, and they had advertised a breakfast which was joke as they had poor coffee with a packet of oats and nothing more. False advertisement to lure people in with no facilities. The condition or maintenance of the rooms were as well poor.
