We totally loved staying at the Couples Tropical Getaway in St Augustine. Have been to St Augustine 4 times and this is definitely our favorite place that we have stayed. Very nice and modern, very clean. Very quiet and calming but so close to the beach, restaurants, stores, and ice cream. We walked to many of the places. Had everything we needed including w&d, beach chairs and umbrella. Hosts were very friendly and it was on a nice quiet street. Hope to stay here again on our next trip to St Augustine.

The condo was exactly as pictured and was perfect for what I needed. I was traveling with my Shih Tzu so the private fenced in yard was a huge plus. The neighborhood was quiet and mere steps from the beach! We utilized the outdoor shower several times a day and managed to keep most of the sand out of the house. Everything you could need was within walking distance and many places were dog friendly.This week of my vacation was perfect but, unfortunately, the second week was riding out hurricane Milton just east of Tampa. I would definitely rent this condo again!! I miss it already.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Only 2 blocks to the access to get the beach. We got up every morning to walk the beach and then come back for breakfast and coffee on the balcony. Then back to the beach for the day. Since we flew, we really appreciated the beach towels, chairs, and umbrella that was provided. The chairs looked brand new and the umbrella was super easy to use. Having the outdoor shower and hose to wash off our feet was also nice. The beach got busy over the weekend, but never felt overly crowed. We walked to dinner at Playa Chac Mool. It was so good, we went back the second night! Would definitely recommend a stay at this cute carriage house.

Just a 5-minute walk to the beach and 10–12-minute drive to historic downtown St. Augustine. The unit offers a private courtyard and balcony – wonderful places to enjoy the beautiful FL weather! We made use of the beach chairs and outdoor shower too. The unit was very clean, and all the appliances worked. It is decorated in a coastal vibe. It was nice to have access to Wi-Fi and the Roku TV. Lauren was very responsive to my questions. Her check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and detailed (thank you!) She also checked in with us, via an email, during our stay to make sure everything was as we expected. We hope to make it back to St. Augustine Beach some day and would love to stay at this property again!

This 2nd floor apartment was just the right size for the 2 of us. Nice front porch to relax on out of the sun. Comfortable bed and couch. So nice to have laundry right there in the apartment. Kitchen was very efficient and had everything we needed. The only drawback was we were very close to the beach access, but the walk from the wooden steps to where you set up beach chairs was a bit far in the sand for someone like me with bad knees;(. Otherwise it was a beautiful setting in a nice neighborhood. You can’t go wrong renting this place.

My husband and our doggies really enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. The big porch on the front and the secluded backyard seating area really make it feel like you’re staying at a much larger place. Plenty of space for us and family members that stopped by to visit. Easy walk to the beach. The foliage around the house and the neighborhood in general gives you such a tropic vibe.

This apartment is in walking distance to beaches and restaurants and is nice and private. We really loved the front balcony to relax on. The refrigerator is huge and has an ice maker which is nice for rental property! The master bedroom has a nice size closet but lacking a tv which I would’ve loved at nighttime. The host had great communication when we told her the microwave was broken and offered to replace immediately. I do think the cleaners forget to dust under bed etc. My allergies were crazy and when I looked under the bed as we were packing to make sure we weren’t forgetting anything I saw all the dust bunnies. The place also need a professional to come spray for ants. Having previously lived in FL I know ants can be hard to control. Overall minor issues and would definitely stay here again.

Great for a couple. Everything you need in the kitchen, and for the beach too! We had a couple days out of our week with spotty weather, and it was nice to be able to pop over to the beach or back, and use the patio as the weather changed. Host is very responsive.

My close friend and I had a great time here! Walking distance to the surf shop, restaurants, coffee shops. The kitchen had everything we needed and some things we had forgotten to bring! I LOVED the outdoor shower and upstairs porch. We were able to walk to the beach in 3 minutes. I plan to come back with my husband soon. Perfect location and great communication with the host. Wonderful!!!

Was disappointed with the fact that there was insects in the dishwasher, sink and small fly like insects that were bitting . We were covered with bites by the end of our trip Tv control would not work had to buy batteries not costing much but thats not the point. Light bulbs in shower room not working and as a asthmatic person the dust collector above the settee was bad

We enjoyed our stay at this beach getaway. The property was beautiful and clean. The furniture was comfortable for relaxing after a day at the beach. We had a small problem with the door lock dying but the owner quickly replaced the batteries and got us back in. Billed as a beach get away, the provided beach equipment left much to be desired. The two provided "beach chairs" were old bag chairs like you haul to the neighborhood soccer game. They were rusty and broken. We made the VRBO contact person aware of the equipment's condition. She assured us that the equipment would be replaced for the next guest. You can thank me later lol. We would definitely stay at this location again. It was very peaceful and so nice to be able to walk to many dinning locations.

Property was clean. Host was great. Walk to beach is not far. But walk to oceanfront is over 300ft across sand dunes and you have to cross 44s driving on beach to get to the water. Negotiating steps and storm door to enter property was a bit of a challenge. Especially when wind was blowing.

Lauren and her family provide a AAA property for our stay in St. Augustine, Fl. The property is (4) houses off the beach, a very easy journey for a most enjoyable day and evening experience. We were less than 10 minutes from the historical part of St. Augustine with many fine restaurants within walking distance. The house itself was sparkling clean with comfortable furniture and an upgraded bathroom shower. Our stay was comfortable and too short. Had a great 2 night stay at the D Street property in St Augustine Beach. 1/2 block from beach on quiet street. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Very clean with updated appliances. Bed mattress a little compressed/soft for our liking. Probably needs replacing. Communication with property manager was fantastic from pre-check in through check out. I would definitely return to this property!

My husband and I have been coming to St. Augustine Beach every year for the past 10 years, and this was by far my favorite place we have stayed. Perfect for 2 people, but still very spacious. The shower is large, the front porch is cozy with lots of shade, and the king sized bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning works great and love the ceiling fans. One small amenity that I really liked was the abundance of hooks to hang towels & swimsuits after coming in from the beach - very convenient! Also the outdoor shower was great for rinsing off your feet and beach chairs. The house is so close to the beach, and the boardwalk is well kept so beach access is a breeze. Conveniently located to lots of our favorite restaurants near A street; we were within walking distance to the Beachcomber and The Taco Shop - yum!! Our host was quick to respond via email. Overall couldn’t have been happier with this booking - we will definitely make this our preferred place!

My husband and I and our pet labradoodle enjoyed two weeks in couples retreat and had the best time we’ve ever spent in St Augustine. Always wanted to stay close to the beach. This property is a half block to the beach access. We had very nice weather! The space had everything we needed. The host was always fast to respond to any questions we had .The bed is comfortable and the sheets silky soft. The water heater is on demand so we were told to turn the bathroom faucet on when showering to ensure enough pressure to get enough hot water. That was new to us but then we had plenty of hot water. The street the space is located is close to all of St Augustine Beach shops and restaurants. We had a very nice time and would return if there was availability!

This apartment is in walking distance to beaches and restaurants and is nice and private. We really loved the front balcony to relax on. The refrigerator is huge and has an ice maker which is nice for rental property! The master bedroom has a nice size closet but lacking a tv which I would’ve loved at nighttime. The host had great communication when we told her the microwave was broken and offered to replace immediately. I do think the cleaners forget to dust under bed etc. My allergies were crazy and when I looked under the bed as we were packing to make sure we weren’t forgetting anything I saw all the dust bunnies. The place also need a professional to come spray for ants. Having previously lived in FL I know ants can be hard to control. Overall minor issues and would definitely stay here again.

Check in/out was super simple and we felt looked after as well. The balcony was very relaxing as we enjoyed the breeze out of the direct sun. Overall, we had an amazing, relaxing stay and would recommend to anyone else!

My husband and I and our pet labradoodle enjoyed two weeks in couples retreat and had the best time we’ve ever spent in St Augustine. Always wanted to stay close to the beach. This property is a half block to the beach access. We had very nice weather! The space had everything we needed. The host was always fast to respond to any questions we had .The bed is comfortable and the sheets silky soft. The water heater is on demand so we were told to turn the bathroom faucet on when showering to ensure enough pressure to get enough hot water. That was new to us but then we had plenty of hot water. The street the space is located is close to all of St Augustine Beach shops and restaurants. We had a very nice time and would return if there was availability!

We were looking for a break from dreary NE winters and this location was perfect. The only problem with our review is that I couldn’t score Lauren’s responsiveness higher. When we had questions she responded so quick. There is so much to do and see in the area, you could run yourself ragged. The beach location was a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of the tourist stuff of historic St Augustine and a walk on the beach was the perfect way to end the day. The location is so close to so many places to eat you can just walk. Whether it is breakfast at island donuts, dinner at Salt Life or an ice cream at Cone Heads, they are all a mile or less away. Thanks to our host for an amazing time away.

This 2nd floor apartment was just the right size for the 2 of us. Nice front porch to relax on out of the sun. Comfortable bed and couch. So nice to have laundry right there in the apartment. Kitchen was very efficient and had everything we needed. The only drawback was we were very close to the beach access, but the walk from the wooden steps to where you set up beach chairs was a bit far in the sand for someone like me with bad knees;(. Otherwise it was a beautiful setting in a nice neighborhood. You can’t go wrong renting this place.

The cottage was in the perfect location, close to the beach, and in a walk able area by resultants and shops. We felt safe, slept great, and it was such a quiet and peaceful area. Just a short drive to beautiful downtown St. Augustine. We loved our stay and plan to come back! Thank you for having us.

Property was clean. Host was great. Walk to beach is not far. But walk to oceanfront is over 300ft across sand dunes and you have to cross 44s driving on beach to get to the water. Negotiating steps and storm door to enter property was a bit of a challenge. Especially when wind was blowing.

My close friend and I had a great time here! Walking distance to the surf shop, restaurants, coffee shops. The kitchen had everything we needed and some things we had forgotten to bring! I LOVED the outdoor shower and upstairs porch. We were able to walk to the beach in 3 minutes. I plan to come back with my husband soon. Perfect location and great communication with the host. Wonderful!!!

The property was clean & comfortable. Lauren was very prompt with her replies to my questions & had some good suggestions. And she provided a blender which had somehow disappeared when I asked for it. There was not a lot to be left wanting. I will bring my own beach chairs next time (hoping there will be a next time) however. The ones there are pretty low (6") off the ground & difficult for my older husband to get in & out of. Other than that, it was great to be a short walk to the beach!

The carriage house was well stocked, clean and very comfortable. Location was fabulous and we like the fact that it was on a neighborhood street and 200 yards away from the beach. We had a wonderful month here and will definitely be back again.
