This hotel was in the perfect location for us with easy access to good food, transportation, fun things to do, and a park. It was clean and the people were so nice and helpful. We loved the very inexpensive baggage storage option for after we checked out but before we were ready to leave the city. It was also quiet.

Excellent staff and service. The staff let my son use the business center for a prolonged period of time, and they let my son and his friends stay in the room for an extra hour past the checkout time. Hotel is clean and in a nice quiet location. Only complaint is housekeeping. My son requested housekeeping a day before and nobody came the following day. But overall a great inexpensive hotel in Manhattan.

Parking was awful. The ipark garage that is affiliated with the hotel upcharged me it shouldn’t have been more than 75 and they charged me 100 for 24 hours and 46 mins.

Very convenient. Free weekend parking on the street in front of the hotel. It was quiet at night, which is worth a lot. Staff was super nice. Fridge in room was nice to have.

The property was very nice in a great area. Very close to the subway entrance to almost all of the top must see places. Read me!!! If you need a washcloth/face cloth.. the small square rags BRING YOUR OWN!!! They do not have these and you will have to bathe with the hand towel; the medium size towel!!!

Our stay was great! The staff was very friendly and welcomed us each time we walked in the front. The area around is very walkable and we felt very safe, even when walking at night. You do have to request room service, but they were very responsive when we called or talked to the front desk.

If not for the location, this hotel is a no go. Older hotel. 1 slow elevator serves the whole building. The other elevator that can only fit 3 ppl can only be used from the ground. The doors are so loud, you will wake up. Understandable that there are fire doors, we needed to get through 2 heavy doors to get to our room door. For the price and location, take the hotel. Clean at least

Avoid at any costs. Extra dirty bed sheets and room and very noisy bed frames. AC was too old and wasn’t able to cool down the temperature, so we were not able to sleep the entire night. Stay away!

Relatively inexpensive for being in this part of Manhattan. It was eco-friendly in the sense that you had to request each night if you wanted your room cleaned the next day. The room itself felt a little dirty with a thick layer of dust on some of the surfaces and a few hairs embedded in the blanket that was on the bed. The door didn't fit the doorway and had an opening that could allow anyone to slip something underneath.

We came in around 3 am after searching for hours to find a place to stay after a rental car issue left us stranded. They were very nice and accommodating. This is an older hotel with good bones. The rooms have been updated but not completely renovated. It was very clean and had body wash and shampoo, which we were grateful for in our time of need. The rooms are smaller than most larger hotels now days but it is very doable for 2 people. I would not hesitate to book with them if I ever decide to go back to NYC. The bed was a 9 out of 10 and the pillows were great! The sheets were clean and smelt good. They have an elevator but it does have some tight spaces. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

Had a great stay, the hotel was clean and staff was very nice. However, the walls are paper thin. I could hear the people in the room next to me and across from me all night. Housekeep very loud, early in the morning, slamming doors and loud communication via Walkie Talkies.

Excellent location. Rooms on the small side but fine for our needs. Had an inner room so not much light through the window. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Noisy on the corridors with other guests ( floors are vinyl so carry noise) Close to subway and many places to eat nearby. Would stay again if visiting NY

Heritage Hotel is very conveniently located in a walkable, safe area with lots of dining, drinking, transport, and park options. While I respect a place’s check-in/out times this place made everyone in the lobby wait til 3 before they’d even deal with you at the desk so come 3 there was a big rush and wait (and I was warned checkout was the same way). Could they have checked if some people’s rooms were ready? Room was nice and comfy with a pleasant view. AC worked well (vital on the almost 90-degree day) but was old and noisy. Walls are also quite thin so you hear a lot of hallway and neighbor noise. Overall, a fine choice for a few days in the city. Would stay here again.

Good hotel, in a good area, my room was too small. Could barely walk around the bed. If I stay again ... I need something bigger than the King room. The room doors are also very noisy ... a lot of clanking metal.

This hotel is just ok. I was surprised at how small everything was - hallways felt like you were in an old apt bldg and the room was very small. The bed was ok but on a moveable metal frame that was squeaky and it was fairly noisy in the hallways in the morning. Location is good and service was ok.

For the location and price I was able to look past a few things however the rooms are very close together, the walls and doors are thin. A few times was woken up throughout the night because of slamming doors or our door rattling because of other doors opening. The rooms are on the small side but you’re in NYC. They were as clean as a hotel could be and had towels and things needed for the bathroom area as well as a pretty strong AC. Overall fairly good for the price.

Whilst the area was in a good location, I wouldnt stay at this property again due to the cleanliness of the room. I would appreciate that upon checkin, the staff would remind that housekeeping is upon request with the timing. I had a bad experience with the staff and housekeeping which I was told to be booked a day in advance where the staff kept knocking and trying to open the door which we have locked because my family is trying to nap at 4pm after a long day of walking. Then the reception called to insist we have to let the houskeeping in or else they cant clean the room. Although I have informed the reception we are sleeping, I did not hear any apologies for the disturbance and at the same time, the housekeeping kept knocking. After we have opened the door to let them know we are having a rest and would only need fresh towels, they still aggressively knocked to give the fresh towel. I dont know what level of

The worst. Stay anywhere else. The room they gave me looked nothing like the photos online at Hotels.com. It was cramped with no dresser or even a closet. The bathroom barely fit a shower. When I complained they refused to refund I ended up going to a different hotel. Stay away. It’s awful, they don’t care.

Spent the weekend here for a hockey game at MSG. Upon arriving, we stored our luggage and left for our first stop in our itinerary. We literally got around the corner to the flat iron building and my friend became really ill. Panicking,, got back to the hotel and Zee( the lady at the desk) and the other staff immediately got us into a room ( 5 hours before check-in) so my friend could lay down and relax. They all treated us with genuine concern and grace!! It was our first visit back to NYC in many years and all i can say is the people at Heritage hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The people of New York were the kindest, considerate, and helpful people I've encountered in quite a while. Going from panic mode to feeling like being at home by the time we went home, it was saddening to leave. Centrally located to everything in Manhattan too!! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to Zee and all the staff at Heritage hotel!! William and Angela from Canada!!

The Heritage Hotel is in such a great spot to walk to many tourist sites, restaurants and Subway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in New York. The staff were always available and happy to give advice on how to get to places and which subways to get on. Highly recommend to anyone on their first trip!

Honestly, it was better than expected which was great because I didn’t expect much. The location is incredible! And for the price, I definitely think it was worth it! We had 3 people in a 2 bed room and although it was a little cramped, we made it work. We were also there for a week so we got used to it.

The Heritage will stay on my list of great places to stay in NYC. Equally walkable to two subway stations that got me everywhere I wanted to go. Better coffee shop next door. CVS and groceries at end of the block, plus food options abound within easy walking. Across the street was the Chelsea Flea Market on Saturday and Sunday. Everybody scored a deal. The hotel itself was clean and updated and was staffed by great helpful people. The neighborhood had a safe, comfy feel with dog walkers and baby carriages throughout the day and evening. Minor downside to the hotel, we stayed in a room with two double beds and a couch. The beds were very soft and a bit bouncy. The couch was the cheapest futon thing that nobody would enjoy sleeping on but perhaps the youngest of children. But, again, our room was clean and otherwise comfy. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel offered everything we needed for our 2-days-trip to NYC: Clean room with 2 queen-sized beds bathroom for an affordable price. No breakfast which was not needed anyway as we wanted to explore the culinary possibilities of the city. Walking distance to grand central and the iconic skyscrapers. We recommend.

Heritage Hotel was perfect for our 2 week stay. The location is excellent, it’s a nice area and quiet at night for sleeping. Super close to Madison Square Park, Eataly, Harry Potter Store, 23st Subway station, 2 Bros Pizza(for $1.50 slice), and a nice cafe right next door. The room was basic and a little dated, but had everything we needed, it was clean and for the price I couldn’t complain at all. We will definitely stay here again :-)
