We enjoyed our stay here. The property was very clean and the staff was friendly. The only issue i had was the pool is older and needs some repair. It is also very small. Breakfast was amazing though!

Under the impression by the photos that there was an indoor pool. Thats why we picked this specific hotel. They had an outdoor pool but it wasnt even open. Drove over 2.5 hours with two small children who were expecting an indoor pool. Also, there was no safe in the room for our valuables. And we were only given 3 towels.

The bathroom floor wasnt sweep, or sweep well. My companions hair was still on the floor. It was easy to spot because it was black and long. There was a dead bug on the floor I noticed night 1 and when we checked out it was still on the hallway floor. The toilet paper roll should have been replaced, since it only had a few sheets left on the roll, although there was still paper on the roll beside it. I did like that on the Breakfast bar, the biscuits and gravy was very good tasting. The egg omelet was a bit dried out. Your coffee maker took forever to complete the cup of coffee. We had to help a few people in how to use it after we had figured it out ourselves. I realize that the maids only have about 20 minutes to clean each room, but they need to take a little more care for patrons who spend more then 1 night, especially when you charge so much for your rooms. The quality should have been better. The TV wouldn't work for me, the buttons didnt response when I tried to change channels. If I'm able to come back next year, I will spend more time researching other hotels

Bathroom sink would not drain properly. Smoke detector battery went out and started chirping at 1 a.m. Blood stain on comforter on day 2 - not ours. Room smelled musty/mildewed and HVAC unit was noisy and ineffective.

The staff was very friendly. Location was great quick on/off interstate. The bed was too soft, woke up with back issues. Room was very clean, only issue the vent in the bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in over a year, nasty. The carpet in the halls on the 3rd floor are in need of replacing.We would stay here again

Big room, friendly staff. Good breakfast choices! Quiet space. The water faucet In Restroom is too close to sink so youre rubbing against the sink to wash! Soap is clear across counter so you’re dripping water across. No tub mat and tub is very slick unless you put towel down.

First set of keys were not keyed to entrance. Our room was open when we approached. The air conditioner was non functioning and the room was extremely hot. We had to move to another room.The mattress was very saggy. The floor lamp had to be plugged in and unplugged to use as the floor switch did not work. All in all this hotel could use some upgrades.but served the purpose of an overnight stay.

Staff was pleasant & helpful. We asked questions about local restaurants. The clerks answered all questions nicely. Upon entering the room it was hot & musty. My husband went back to the desk to ask for someone to check it out. The staff came down immediately. He was unable to get the air to work so he moved us to a different room.

We ended up staying in Shelbyville for Kentucky Oaks/Derby weekend. The location was great; away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Louisville but still close enough for us to get back and forth to. The room was comfortable for the 4 of us sharing the space. Appreciated the eco-friendliness of this property, too. Would certainly recommend staying here - found some great amenities just north of 64 as well that would encourage me to stay in this location for a return trip for the region.

We ALWAYS stay here when we are passing thru Shelbyville and it always exceeds our expectations. The staff, the rooms, the breakfast area, parking, everything! The hotel is located near the highway and restaurants and shops are within a few miles. Very quiet and updated, with many amenities right in the hotel. If there were more stars you would get them!

This property is right next to the freeway but you cannot hear any traffic noise. It is conveniently located not far from downtown new and downtown old Shelbyville. There are some gas and food places with 5 mins of the hotel. Hotel staff were really nice. The common areas were very clean and tidy. Breakfast wasn’t the best options - not a ton of variety, but expected because it’s the same sort of food for many hotels. The vent in our bathroom was caked in dust plus wasn’t working. We let staff know but it wasn’t corrected, so we let them know again and they cleaned it. Hotel needs updating in the flooring. You can see the stain marks throughout. The beds and pillows were so comfy, I had a wonderful sleep every night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful Appreciate that they allow dogs, and the area around the hotel has plenty of room to walk them. Room was comfortable and relaxing The breakfast was excellent, and we found another Holiday Inn express to stay at a few days later on the last day of our trip . We will definitely seek out this brand of hotel next time we travel

Checked in and was told pool was down and my granddaughter was ready to swim. Thats why I got a hotel with a pool. Outlets in the bathroom did not work and the outlets by the bed. The bathroom sink would not drain the water. Was told very sorry thats all.
