They had good coffee in the Lobby on my afternoon arrival (pleasant surprise) and check-in was fast/easy. The Room and bathroom was clean and nice. Good bed. I enjoyed the breakfast options provided the next morning. Easy parking.

I liked being able to park near room. Staff was friendly and property was generally clean. Pool was filled with stagnate water and there was a drink spilled in the entry that was still there when we left 3 days later. Overall it was good for us.

we stayed for 4 nights, it’s conveniently right off the freeway, check in and out was super easy. staff was friendly and always there if we needed anything. pool looked nice and clean, breakfast was yummy and hot, and the lobby and our room were clean. thank you best western shelbyville for an amazing stay!

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in!!!! Every day had to go to front desk for towels soap coffee etc…. We wanted to leave but they would not refund our money, because we booked thru you!!! The air conditioner had a plastic shield in front of the curtain which was covered in mold, so for 5 days we were breathing that!! I will never book thru you again!! We left a day and half early could not take it any longer!! The manager solution was to give us a bag of shampoo and soap!!

Our room had a moisture problem. It did not smell of mustiness, but it was so moist the sheets felt damp. The ceiling in the room had two water damage spots that looked fresh?? I stayed there with my college-aged son. He said, “If I was not so tired I would say we should get a different room.” I agreed. Other than that it was a clean room. I suggested to the front desk that they needed to run a dehumidifier in there before it becomes a health problem. They said, “Okay.”

Super Dated. Stairs, no elevator, parking lot not fenced. TV service is trash with the old school lite blue and white remotes. Oh and only one remote for the two tvs for the two different rooms in our suite. 🙄Young gal working the front desk, pretty much what you’d expect there from an early twenties person in customer service lately. The one positive would be the water pressure, it’s amazing, but unfortunately too powerful for my toddler. The floors are terrible, squeaky, noisy, uneven, sloped. My Husband said he was surprised this place was still standing. It’s very easy to hear everyone throughout the property which is terrible at a hotel. They use the tiny pillows, even for a King bed which I do not understand, who decided these were a good idea and I’m pretty sure the black out drapes are going to do a not so good job as they have the huge gaps at the sides. Stay at a Hotel in Louisville, trust me.

I checked into the hotel because I was driving through Kentucky and felt very sick. I made the reservation about an hour before I checked yet and when I got there at one they wanted to charge me $40 service fee for an early check-in even though there was nobody at the hotel I proceeded to leave to call hotels.com since they mentioned that my credit card had declined even though it should not have been used since I was using a reward night . The person at the desk was pretty rude. Insisting that I booked a accessible room, but I didn’t look handicapped and I just said I booked the first available room that wasn’t smoking after trying to kill at least two hours before I checked in they finally let me check in about 45 minutes early, the walls are very thin and you could hear people walking overhead and talking in the hallway most of the evening. I will not be staying at this hotel again

Well first of all, I won't be staying at these hotels anymore, most hotels I stay at do not automatically deduct money from your debit card like you're going to destroy the room before you even stay in it, I can understand this if you're charged for harming the room but it seems excessive to deduct like 200 dollars off your card before you even enter the room, I don't like that so I'll stick with other hotels. Also there were signs all over the room threatening if you took a towel, 200 dollars, we were afraid to use towels or make coffee or anything, very, very uncomfortable. We won't be back!

Everything was great except we had the housekeeping knock on our door twice within 15 minutes an hour before checkout time. We told them both times that we would be checking out at 11. They should check with the front desk before disturbing customers. It wasn’t like the place was swamped and they couldn’t wait til we left.

Overall, a good experience & I would stay again. The manager at the front desk was very helpful. He managed to get us adjoining rooms so we could share with other family members. Rooms were very clean. Although walls looked painted recently & everything worked, things were worn. Free breakfast was decent. The only problem was we were in a wing that seemed to have some construction workers who rose around 6 am & you could hear them closing doors, etc.

The desk person upon check in did not speak english well. I was charged for future incidentals that I wasn't expecting. When I asked how to work the tv remote, she didn't understand me. I hung my pants over the chair overnight and the pants where damp from sitting over the back of the chair. The A/C didn't remove any moisture in the room. The bed was softer than usual. We both slept poorly.

Laundry room used an app. Not convenient. Dining room not open until 7:00 on weekend. That’s dumb. Many leaving have early flights. Nice to grab the free breakfast (that you actually do pay for) on your way out. Trash was not emptied in room two of the days and we were not left replacement soap or bath towel one night. The little things that make a difference. I understand an occasional oversight so the reason I gave a 3 and not lower.
