Holiday Inn Express Quantico - Stafford by IHG

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff did not follow the instructions provided by the booking of hotels.com and we had to make changes when we arrived. The pool was freezing which was a disappointment since it is an indoor pool.

I liked that the room used pump-style toiletries instead of the wasteful single-use soaps. I was also pleased with the fitness center. It had everything you could need for a good workout.

Love the pool

The property and room was clean but the room smelled musty. I'm sure it had to do with the air conditioner not being on in the room when we got in and without a window to open, the room just smelled pretty bad. Also the bathroom is quite dated with no fan. First and last time staying here. We usually stay at a different hotel in the area when traveling and based on the positive reviews we gave this one a try but it just wasn't for us.

This hotel was so clean, and the evening check-in staff were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was hot and fresh, and we truly had no issues during our stay. Highly recommend!

Most important to me is the cleanliness and it is very clean, great amenities, friendly kind professional staff greeted us on arrival.. The cold Citrus Water was welcoming. The property is kept well. Great for Family.

The bathroom has mildew on tiles near tub. There were some loose floor tiles. You could smell the slight smell of mildew standing near bathroom door. The toilet kept running, never filling up like it should. We had to get someone to come fix the toilet, which didnt actually fox it. It continued to run both nights. I did notify front desk about mildew forming in the bathroom. Other than that, the remainder of hotel seemed clean, it was quiet. There were no loiterers hanging around the outside

The bathroom doesnt have great ventilation so there was a large water bubble on the ceiling above the tub along with what looked like mold. Otherwise, the staff are friendly. I wish there was more gluten free options at breakfast.

My stay was on 8-30-2024 through 9-1-2024 I was in room 407 and was bite by bedbugs!! The room was very musty and on the first day I reported that the fridge wasn't getting cold and no one followed up.

I found an adult bedbug in my room, the coffee station has fruit flies all around it, and the pool was absolutely disgusting as it has mold/algy buildup all inside. Yes, it was open and people were swimming in it. The rooms smell wet. I have pictures of all of it. The young man at the front desk that moved my room, was very polite. The outback around the corner had terrible service but decent food.

The hotel was decent. Our room definitely needed an upgrade, especially the bathroom. For example, there was a sponge like material underneath the bathroom door and it kept getting wet anytime we showered, leaving residue. Other than that, the hotel was good for our 3 night stay.

Very good location, shopping plaza, restaurants, close to interstate; fast internet. Cons: broken furniture, limited parking, no restrooms in swimming and gym area but on the other side of the hotel.

Property and room were very nice, upgraded and modern. The road noise was the only problem and we were on the 4th floor! Loud engines or motorcycles until around midnight

Had a prepayed room reserved, only yo find out upon arrival that the reservation was canceled. After driving for 7 hours with 2 of our little kids, we got there and found out we had no room because they had what they called an emergency earlier that morning. No other explanation was given and nothing could of been done we had to go and find another hotel to stay at. The staff was very unprofessional they looked angry and very unhelpful. You couldnt pay me to stay here ever!! The front desk tried to tell us they called numerous times and left msgs which was a bunch of lies, we wouldnt of been in the situation we were in if they really called. Stay at your own risk but we will never be coming back.

I can confidently say that the breakfast at this hotel is one of the best I've ever had during a stay. Whether it was because everything tasted fresh or because I was extra hungry every morning, it hit the spot every time! Even my kids commented on how much they enjoyed it, which is no small feat. The staff deserves a shoutout for their patience and attentiveness. From check-in to small requests throughout our stay, they always made us feel welcome and well cared for. Lastly, the hotel itself was spotless. Cleanliness is so important, and this place exceeded my expectations in every area. From the lobby to our room, everything was well-maintained and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Pamela at the front desk could use some customer service classes. Phone etiquette is lacking and she doesn’t seem to like face to face conversation either. Everyone else was lovely. Room was clean, but bathroom was not the cleanest and could use an update. Overall not the worst experience and would stay again if we had to.

When I arrived I was informed the hotel was overbooked. Oscar was at the desk and was very helpful getting me a room at the Hampton Inn. It was frustrating to be sent elsewhere. I am unsure as to why this happened as we booked a few weeks earlier. Oscar however was very nice and helpful.

Nice Staff, but a Total Disaster of a Stay We stayed here twice—once on our drive from NYC to Atlanta and again on our return. The first time was okay aside from check-in: I had booked and paid for two rooms, one in my name and one in my son’s, and they still made me wake him up and bring him in to show ID, even though I had it on me. The second stay was a disaster. The phone in my room didn’t work, and when my husband tried to pick up a package for me at the front desk (with my ID on his phone and me on speaker), they refused to give it to him. They said I had to call from the room—impossible, since the phone was broken. Then the toilet suddenly started flooding for no reason. The front desk clerk came up himself (maintenance had gone home sick), and while he was very kind, he was completely unprepared. He brought a snake even though the issue wasn’t a clog, didn’t clean up the mess, said he couldn’t find a mop, and disappeared. We were left with a soaked bathroom floor, wet towels, and no way to shower before leaving. To make matters worse, we were limited to four towels despite having multiple people, and my sheets were dirty. The whole situation delayed us by hours and caused us to miss an important appointment. It was a very disappointing ordeal.

A very nice hotel, especially for the price. The room and lobby areas were all clean and updated and the breakfast is plentiful with extended hours compared to other places. Our check in went very smooth and the desk manager who helped us was very efficient and helpful and managed to change our room to something more conducive to our stay.

I was booked twice for the same night. Instead of two consecutive nights. They refused to change my incorrect booking to the second night. I hoped to just change the date to the second night and if there was a fee difference that was fine. It was this peticular manager that was the issue. Won’t stay here again.

It is right off of I 95. I like that there is a shopping mall across the way from the hotel. I will continue to use this hotel whenever I go visit NJ.

Great breakfast Clean comfortable roo.

This could be a 5-star property. But some little things kept it from that, for us. First, the stopper in the shower was broken, so I had to wedge the bar of soap under it to hold it open so we could shower. Second, the section of the buffet that has the fresh pancakes had ants crawling all over it. We saw between 10-20. Every other part of the buffet was clean. Finally, it seems like Stafford has some gang activity. Our sleep was not good due to really loud motorcycles and sports cars revving their engines around the property late into the night. So loud it kept waking us up, even with rain noise playing on our phones.

Easy to find and to manuever around in our stays in Stafford. Love having a swimming pool to allow the grandkids to swim and have a good time. Not happy with the same 'hot breakfast' every morning ... kept hoping for variety like 'Country Gravy' with the biscuits.

Our entire stay was fantastic! Great, friendly service! The room as call and beds and pillows were so lovely! Breakfast was a big breakfast. It had everything, eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, potatoes oh my gosh and oatmeal, cold cereal, milk and juiced! Delicious hot cinnamon rolls and fruit plus more and coffee all day Just lovely!
