The staff are very nice and supportive. The location of this hotel is great, close to all kinds of food and shopping facilities. Being super close to the sky tower could be a great plus for customers like me. The property is overall clean but old and worn off. Sometimes the smell inside and around the room in the lobby is not good. Sometimes it is very noisy. The parking is very inconvenient. The laundry room looks a little dirty. The wifi signal in my room is so weak that I had to stand at the door to access it. Because of this weak wifi signal in my room, the TV does not always work. Sometimes the streets outside the hotel look not very safe, especially the back street out of the parking space.

The hotel was fine, staff were friendly but the parking was a nightmare and expensive as I had to use an expensive car park 3 blocks away and due to road works the paths outside weren’t ideal. In the morning I went to the shops and got to meet all the local drunks also but this isn’t a fault of the hotel.

The bed was 2 single beds pushed together. The shower was nasty, mold in the shampoo holder spot. Loose long hairs in the shower (my hair is very short). Two nights I went out and brought food back with me. I made a neat pile of the garbage and put it on a desk thinking they would pick it up. Didn’t remove it once. They advertise laundry but don’t actually do it. You have to pay $8 for wash and dry while doing it yourself (which is fine). But in the laundry room it says they have detergent at the front desk that you can buy. I ask the man at the front desk for the detergent, he states they have none, and tells me to go buy some detergent. Do not bank on the gym, that was literally a closet. Just a weird experience all around at that spot

The staff were friendly and professional. The room was nice. No drinking cocoa though, only tea and coffee. The bathroom floor needed a good scrub, there was make up smears all over it and other marks that could've easily been removed with a proper clean. There was no facecloth, only hand towels and bath towels.

We waited for almost 3/4 of an hour to check-in. We were lucky that our room was ready because others were told there would be an hour's wait for their rooms. Our room was very old and tired - the sofa/sofa bed had some unpleasant stains on it, the shower had black mold in it and there were no curtains on the windows. I got messages saying that we'd be charged extra for early check-in and late check-out which didn't really make us feel welcome. There was a room where people could leave their luggage but the bags weren't tagged and the reception staff just gave people the key to help themselves so we elected to take our bags with us after check-out. We paid just over $500 per night (P!NK concert) and felt totally ripped off. We won't be staying at the hotel again!

I stayed for four nights. There were three nights was very noisy. Loud music was playing whole night until at least 3-4AM in the morning. People will shouting or laughing on the street the window is old and couldn’t even block the sound. That was the worst sleeping experience in a hotel. They didn’t provide any room cleaning during my day. One day I requested change of towels in the morning around 9 AM, when I came back around 9 PM, there’s still no clean towel. I called the reception several times, and no one answered it. Finally I had to come down to front text to get the towels.

Room was not ready at 2pm we had to wait almost an hour in the lobby until room was ready, when we got to the room it was still a little dirty with floor needing a vacuum, hair on the bedding, a tampoon wrapper was in the toilet. We had no face clothes just hand towels and towels. There was a fire alarm go off but the alarms were not in the rooms or the corridors just in the stairs, the team made no idea how to evacuate the building and there was no urgency which was scary, thank God the alarm was not a real fire just burnt toast. Our room key stopped working so we had to get them checked and we only stayed two night, the breakfast was not worth the money, hot food was only scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, bacon, three jams for toast nothing else like marmite, peanut butter.

Room not the same as one booked. Very loud clubbing and road noise till 4am and road noise, then street clean up noise from 5am. Window didn’t shut properly and blinds didn’t black out. Room was very old and tired, not like pictures. Complained and moved to a higher room, slightly better but windows single glazed and noisy. Manager never did contact us, and the staff tried to appease us with a free breakfast, for a defective hotel room that cost over $600 for 2 night. the hotels.com never followed up to resolve. Great location, unfortunately road works everywhere & getting an uber or taxi was hard. Renovations look good, but one of the rooms we had, was ridiculously hot. This room had no air-con, so they gave us a fan. Fan did nothing. Got a second fan. Two fans blowing hot air around the room, not good. Fortunately, our other room had air-con. Thank Goodness. Great location with a supermarket next door. Room was spacious, very modern and a very high end 3 star hotel room. Let down a little by a weak shower and a window that was missing the clips to close properly. Wasn't cold but just meant the street noise was louder than it could have been. Excellent for the price though, would stay again

I ended up having to move rooms because the room I was in was ridiculously noisy. But staff had no issue with changing my room. Please note the windows are not double glazed so quite noisy on a Saturday night. The room was beautifully presented and very comfortable.

The staff were lovely and friendly. Only downside was we couldn’t get hold of the hotel (it rang out) to find out where we could park to check in. I had to park elsewhere for a cost of $18 for 20mins in another carpark two streets away. Staff were helpful and sorted out parking which we paid for. We accepted that and were aware when we booked so no complaints. Room was lovely, clean and breakfast in the morning was nice and fresh.

Lobby was bare minimum. Smelled like a hospital. Arrived at 1PM, Got checked in around 3PM. Had to wait for a very long time. No one cleaned the room in my 3 days stay there. No one refilled coffee or sugar. When asked for sugar refill, staff insist on guest coming down instead of being sent over. Won't recommend this hotel ever.

Staff was amazing and accommodating! I had tours starting early (before the breakfast starts) and they accommodated me on those dates and provided breakfast. They cleaned my room every day, were always willing to listen and answer my questions and give helpful suggestions. The hotel is situated in a great area-close to major attractions, safe, plenty of dining options nearby, very walkable. Would definitely stay again.

Waiting at reception on slanted floor holding onto luggage so it doesn't roll away late at night was very frustrating & hard to even get into the door with 0 help from staff due to confusing after hours door mechanism. Nice fellow guest helped me & others get in while they waiting ahead of me in line. Then waiting for long time to get my luggage out of their "secure" (but unlocked) storage area while taxi was waiting for me. So staff doesn't seem to care much, even with multiple people behind the desk ya wait around awkwardly a lot. Guess that's why it's cheap.

Stayed for two nights in this centrally located hotel. Long term road works outside caused us no problems as we had returned our rental car. Only few yards from Queens Street and the Sky Tower so easy access for bus to Airport. Reasonable Breakfast although short on room if lots of people go at same time.

Great breakfast and convenient to city shopping, Woolworths next door and harbour area. Room was refurbished, second room of double room was internal and not as cool as main connecting room which had an open window. Would stay again, close to Sky City bus terminal.

On arrival the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean , comfortable bed ,bathroom spaceous . We were pleasantly surprised by the delishous Buffett breakfast and lovely staff there . Plus they helped us out with parking till we left for the Airport.
