Close to market and restaurants. Food trucks is on the other side of street as well as active railroads. The suite have stove, microwave.. but no pans or pods. No kitchenwares either. Big refrigerator and the coffee maker are nice

The property had a full kitchen but had no pots, pans, or baking pans tor cooking on the stove, if I had known there were no pots, pans or baking pans I would have brought my own since I was traveling by car . Had a nice refrigerator and a microwave.

This place was solid. Clean, quiet and friendly staff. The only thing i found odd is the kitchinette has nothing useful in it. Not a single pot or pan or dish soap.

The staff was friendly. Check in was painless. We stayed in room 8. Room was clean. We got parking right in front our room. There are no dishes provided, so if you plan on cooking, bring your own. Wasn’t an issue for us. We just used the microwave to warm up leftovers. Wasn’t expecting our room to be cleaned after the night. The only complaints: The toilet is a little small from what we’re used to and the surrounding area is a little sketchy. Was overall pretty surprised and happy with our stay.

Decent place, close to express way, airport, gas stations and food sources. Four nights. Clean room, large fridge, stove, microwave. Pleasure trip to explore sites in Oregon. Gone most of the day. It was all pretty savory. I would stay there again.

This is the best refurbished motel we have ever stayed in. Our room was #18. Everything was there except breakfast, but there is an Elmer's nearby. The room is standard size )it may seem a little small), but it comes with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer plus shampoo, iron and board, the list goes on and on. Very nicely appointed room that was squeaky clean. The grounds were very well taken care of. We were even able to plug in our EV using the 110V socket in the room because of the old time design. For some reason the shower curtain was missing in our bathroom. Otherwise, it was perfect. The neighborhood was safe to us, and there was no street noise, only the slight, occasional whine of an airplane. There are several ethnic and American cuisine restaurants nearby as well as a Costco within about a mile. This place was almost perfect.

Nice room, very clean. Nice folks working. It’s right by a busy road with lots of traffic. I wear ear plugs so it’s no big deal. That was the only downside but it makes it accessible. Sort of the old style with all rooms on the ground floor.

An old style motor inn in very excellent condition the out side and inside feel new, there is a kitchen with full sized appliances and a very nice bathroom Everything is spotless. One thing, the kitchen has no dishes, utensils or cookware. It didn’t effect our stay

The floors where extremely sticky and the TV remote was disgusting. The bed had hair (not ours) and blood stains on the sheet and the A/C heating unit was very loud. The shower had no water pressure and was either golden hot or freezing cold. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable. The area around the hotel made me want to have 911 ready in my cell.

Family-owned motel close to PDX. Room was very clean and in line with motels in this price range, good value. I felt safe as a single woman, but the area is not the greatest, you'd want a car to go out for meals. Owner was personable and seemed to run a tight ship. Only downside is it's across the street from the freight train tracks which run all night -- though I'm pretty noise sensitive and it didn't bother me once I fell asleep.

Stayed here for one night before leaving Portland early next morning. Room was clean and had all the essentials to make it comfortable. The shower was inconveniently small however, and I found it hard to prevent water from splashing outside of the shower.

Train tracks across the street, also some airport noise, hard mattresses. No hotel features... its a motel on a small, isolated lot. Pretty much like a super 8 with no breakfast or lobby coffee. At least no sketchy clientele. Not much within walking distance.

Nordic Inn and Suites is a hidden gem. This is an older, one story motel, reminiscent of days gone by. It is very clean and well kept. The owners obviously care a great deal for this property. The young lady who checked us in was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and had a better selection of pillows than I've seen at a motel in a long time. We will definitely stay at the Nordic Inn again the next time we are in Portland.

Wonderful little motel. Very clean and comfy bed and great water pressure and tons of tv channels. Everything was perfect and I would have given it a 10+ but the huge drawback is the walls are paper thin. I literally could hear the people next door talking. I put on some headphones to watch youtube but if I had to listen to that all night, I would have gone nuts. Also someone was snoring pretty good. I wonder if they were 2 rooms down. Luckily, everyone seemed to go to bed about 1130pm. Again, super nice and clean place but just thin thin walls. If that doesn't bother you. then you will love this place. I really did love it except for that.

The cleanness was not bad but they didn't fully return the $100 deposit without exact explanation in advance. They returned only $53.60!! They told me that it was because of 2 more kids(everybody above 1 years old). My kids are only 6 and 8. I've stayed so many hotels and motels but I've never seen the place to charge on little kids. If they explained to me in advance, I was angry. The deposit just expalined not to damage the facility and not to smoke. The reason I stayed here was to save some money but consequently it was waste of money.(finally it was more expensive) Also, it is quite cold in winter and the heater is too noisy! Shower booth was so narrow. I think just for one person to stay is okay but for family is not good.

I never even got a room key because when I was checking in I was told they do not allow pets & there are no exceptions! I have a service animal with legal documentation and registration, they didn’t even look at that. They just said no exceptions!

The only thing I was not used to was having the policy of daily housekeeping; it is not something that I was comfortable with, as I had experienced a mishap of cleaning staff accidentally breaking into my container full of medication. When I had returned from my day out, I had seen that the medications were unwrapped and placed into a paper cup. I just had wished that travelers had an option of having room service scheduled.

The man at the desk was very kind and welcoming. He gave us some good advice about exploring Portland and how to be safe around sketchy areas. The inn seems well taken care of and homey. I wish I booked here for the majority of my trip!

Right off the bat, check-in was one of the worst experiences I've had in a very long time. The room we were originally given was still occupied. We went back to the front desk (which was in a separate building from the rooms) and was given another room. Needless to say, the electronic key did not work so again we went back to the front desk. The attendant mentioned something about comping us for the room, but that didn't happen either. We had to settle for a room somewhat closest to the busy street so we heard traffic noises throughout the night. We can also hear the trains as well. Not an ideal location regardless of the check-in fiasco.

Actually a wonderful location. Amazingly the food trucks that are permanent across the street are incredibly good. Everything is very clean and well kept and quiet except for the occasional train or traffic going by. It was an excellent value.

Well the staff is super helpful . Rooms are clean and well supplied . The not issue I would have is the location . It’s a drive away from Everything and as well not the best area although no one bothers you and it seems safe on hotels grounds .

Close to the airport, but maybe not the nicest neighborhood. Room was very clean--simple and functional. I would stay again, because it was cheap. If you're looking for a base of operations to see Portland, I would stay a little more central. If you need a place close the airport for an early morning flight, this is the place!

Actually a wonderful location. Amazingly the food trucks that are permanent across the street are incredibly good. Everything is very clean and well kept and quiet except for the occasional train or traffic going by. It was an excellent value.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Overall it was well worth the price we paid. I didn't expect anything fancy and it wasn't, it did the job for a few day visit. The area was not great but I didn't feel unsafe, I even walked down the street for tacos.

The property had a full kitchen but had no pots, pans, or baking pans tor cooking on the stove, if I had known there were no pots, pans or baking pans I would have brought my own since I was traveling by car . Had a nice refrigerator and a microwave.

This place was solid. Clean, quiet and friendly staff. The only thing i found odd is the kitchinette has nothing useful in it. Not a single pot or pan or dish soap.

The Nordic Inn is very good value. It felt safe and was spotless and comfortable. It is not close to the center of portland but there are some good options to get there quickly of you have a car, and to is convenient to the airport. There are some very food to excellent food trucks nearby (including the Yucateco almost across the street). We stay there again.

This is the best refurbished motel we have ever stayed in. Our room was #18. Everything was there except breakfast, but there is an Elmer's nearby. The room is standard size )it may seem a little small), but it comes with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer plus shampoo, iron and board, the list goes on and on. Very nicely appointed room that was squeaky clean. The grounds were very well taken care of. We were even able to plug in our EV using the 110V socket in the room because of the old time design. For some reason the shower curtain was missing in our bathroom. Otherwise, it was perfect. The neighborhood was safe to us, and there was no street noise, only the slight, occasional whine of an airplane. There are several ethnic and American cuisine restaurants nearby as well as a Costco within about a mile. This place was almost perfect.

Family-owned motel close to PDX. Room was very clean and in line with motels in this price range, good value. I felt safe as a single woman, but the area is not the greatest, you'd want a car to go out for meals. Owner was personable and seemed to run a tight ship.
