We feel like we've discovered a hidden jewel in the Wyndham Garden Kansas City Airport! Our entire experience from check-in to check-out was smooth, easy, and positive. The hotel lobby is so nice and the staff are warm and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean with a great bed and view of the pool! The room climate control was easy to adjust and worked great throughout our stay. The pool is card-protected and we found it to be clean, at a pleasant temperature, and there were plenty of lounge chairs available. One especially remarkable aspect of our stay was our accessibility to the staff via text message after check-in. For example, while we were relaxing by the pool we noticed all the pool towels were gone. We sent a text to the number they provided and, within minutes, someone came out with a large cart to collect used towels and restock the clean towel cabinet. Such great service! We have already booked a return visit and can't wait to go back to this hotel!

This hotel was a little bit outdated but overall clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a decent spread, but it was extremely busy and we got there at 9:15 am and items that were our were not restocked. Kinda disappointed in that. The outdoor pool is a nice salt pool and kids enjoyed swimming in it. Although it was a little bit murky. Customer service was kinda lacking and not the most helpful. This hotel is very easy to hop on the interstate to get around.

Nothing outstanding. Should really be more conscious to other guests taking double parking spots. We returned to the hotel around 2am and there was no parking due to 3 cars parked between two spots. People are so inconsiderate. We had to park in an e tremely tight spot next to the re ycle container.

The property and the hotel is pretty nice the only issue I have is the hotel does not have enough parking for its customers. Every night I came back in the evening there was no parking and you had to park on the side of the street which I did not like my vehicle being out there and didn't feel like my vehicle was safe.

Good place for the value larger room that was furnished well. Gym had free weights up to 50 and a few machines enough to get a decent workout. Air unit was a bit loud, bed was firm, fridge a little deeper than most smaller ones, Snack and drinks onsite. has a few base restaurants around it walking distance

The Pool is advertised as open and it was covered and closed. On the wooden steps to the restaurant/steak house, I hurt my ankle the wood is rotted and there are sink areas where my ankle twisted the trees are not cut back and there is no lighting very dark.

The Junior Suite that I stayed in (#207) needs to be renovated! There were several carpet stains and areas that needed obvious repair by both the entry and bathroom doors. Some of the walls had huge line marks on them. The bathroom was extremely small with a shaky shower/tub faucet handle and the fan vent was covered in dust. One of the double beds had several strains of hair that matched the ones on the unswept bathroom floor and the other bed had a comforter that appeared dirty. I am pretty sure that the room was maybe half cleaned. There were no extra outlets by the bed to charge your electronic devices. The room just appeared very outdated! I was very disappointed with my experience at this hotel because the overall reviews were very good and the deceiving photos looked great but overall I would never stay at this hotel again especially for the price that I paid! Thank you in advance!

The carpet was stained and very dirty. The bathroom has visible mold and rust on the edges and fixtures. The tv was very out of date and had a fuzzy picture. You were not able to use streaming services on the tv. The view from the window was an enclosed roof area with trash (cardboard boxes) and satélites. The only positive was that the air conditioning was cool and kept the room a nice temp.

We had a fantastic stay at the Wyndham Garden KC Airport on our way to and from a trip overseas! The service was truly exceptional-the manager/operator recognized me from a stay almost a year ago and greeted me by name! He helped us arrange parking for our vehicle while we were out of country, and gave us good guidance on places to eat. The facility was clean and very well maintained: the bathroom was spotless and no sign of the traces of mold or mildew you so often see in the grout or corners even in "nicer" hotels. The towels were more fluffy and soft than most, and the room temp was easily set to a comfortable level. The breakfast was fresh and fully stocked. And the shuttle was available to take us to and from the airport at our convenience. Wyndham Garden will definitely be my stay of choice when flying out of KC or staying on the North side of town!

The mattress and bed linens are nice. The room, as usual, needs a good scrub down. I had to scrub the urine drops off the bathroom floor. Dirt off the door handle. Sofa cushions very dirty. No coffee maker. Front desk replaced it while we were gone. House keeping didn’t understand English. The marijuana smoke in the hall on second floor was overwhelming. Housekeeping had to use a lot of air freshener. Supposed to be non-smoking!

Our room smelled like old dog. Breakfast was mediocre. Hotel is in need of a refresh- carpet in room was stained, outlets didn’t work, couch was very uncomfortable. Shower was good with heat and good pressure. Bed was comfortable. Think there are better options for the price.

The hotel is dated. It was fine for one night but would not recommend for more than that. Traveling with family was difficult with the sink being in an open area and people moving around at different times in the morning. It was also very dated and we found the beds to be very uncomfortable.

Breakfast was delicious and I liked the area- it was a nice and quiet place. However, TVs need to be updated (mine was kind of blurry, and was told it was due to it being old) , also the however heads- it was difficult to wash my hair. Other than that, it was a good place to stay for the weekend.

They did not notify us that they didn’t offer room service UNLESS it is asked for so I did ask for it on the second day and NEVER received it. Had to go get my own towels to at least have clean towels to shower with. Complained to GENERAL MANAGER who said nothing did not even apologize. I asked for corporates number to complain and was given false number. Then I found an email address and wrote them and still haven’t heard a word from them. ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE SERVICE PLAIN RIGHT DISRESPECTFUL!!!!

We reached the hotel around 2 am on Saturday and found that the room was not cooling. When asked the front desk mentioned that the cooling is controlled by the wireless thermostat and so we set that to 69 to confirm that it was working. We found that the temperature was still around 74-75 after a few hours and so we informed the front desk around 2:30 pm Saturday. We were told that the repair guy had left and that the second guy would come in around 3 pm and that he will send this guy to our room to fix it. No one showed up until 3:30pm and so we again went to the front desk and there was a new rep at the desk and he said that no one had said anything to him. And he did come up to the room and checked and confirmed that the ac is not working but that there are no repair technicians available. We requested a room change and the response was that all the rooms were booked. The only offer was a couple of small fans which we agreed to and used that for the rest of the stay. The temperature in the room did not go below 75 but the circulation helped a little bit. We checked out Sunday morning 5 am and returned the fans and when asked about the a/c issue, we were told that we did not inform in time and so there is nothing that can be done. We did inform that we will take this up with Expedia as well as the credit card issuer since they reneged on the contract which clearly stated that the room had air conditioning. We request Expedia to address this at the earliest

Front desk person was great. We got in late just after midnight due to flight delays and he was friendly and got us checked in quickly, which we appreciated after a long day of traveling. Don’t know his name but he was working the graveyard shift… kudos for great customer service!

We chose this property due to the 24 hour shuttle service to the airport . Upon arriving for our stay on the 23rd, we were informed that they would not be able to transport our group which I had previously called about a week prior and they reassured me that they have a 24 hour shuttle service and it would be no problem. After much talking and convincing, I was able to get them to take us to the airport for our morning flight. Which added much stress to the travel. Upon arriving back on the 29th and calling to get the shuttle, they said they only ran until 11 PM and would only be able to get half of us. Once again, more stress to our trip. After much talking and convincing, they came and got the other half of us. Talking to the employees that worked at this hotel, we did find out that they have changed ownership and the new owners did not want to offer 24 hour shuttle service. So I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you want shuttle service early morning or late at night. Our rooms were also not the cleanest and we did have water leaks in both rooms 23rd and the 29th that we stayed in. Overall, not a hotel I would ever stay in again. Was not a positive experience definitely added more stress to our vacation.

The location is excellent and the lobby staff are very friendly and cooperative but the cleaning staff is terrible, the room was not cleaned for two days, the breakfast is also not very good and could be better.

Nice hotel, easy check in, nice clean room. King suite is comfortable. Only neg would be small bathroom and if you have any trouble stepping into and out of a tall tub be very careful. An upgrade to a walk-in shower would be an upgrade to this room and safer. Breakfast was just barely average. Ran out of sausage at 8 am and all 3 coffee pots were empty. Sona Rosa shopping center and airport are only minutes away with shuttle.

It was just an overnight stay. We liked that there was plenty of room to sit, not just one chair like usual. It was clean. The staff was very friendly. Only ‘negative’ - the breakfast. Even for US standards not good at all.

Great stay! We stayed here for a concert and were so impressed with everything. Staff were kind and so attentive. Breakfast was amazing (best biscuits and gravy) and the staff made sure you got what you needed. We asked for sheets for the pull out bed and they had them at the door within minutes of our request. Super clean. Will definitely stay here anytime we are in the area.

TV Guide not functioning, as “many don’t”, according to maintenance. Room 211 Breakfast was not like we’ve previously had. No fresh fruit, no biscuits and gravy. Watery rehydrated eggs.
