B&B Galileo 2000

Lors de ma récente expérience dans cet établissement, j'ai rencontré plusieurs points qui méritent d'être soulevés. Au départ, le choix de la chambre n'était pas clair. J'avais réservé une chambre rouge à Bal d'Aquin, mais après avoir confirmé ma réservation, j'ai découvert qu'elle était bleue. À mon arrivée, la chambre qui m'a été attribuée était finalement jaune. De plus, j'ai dû payer un supplément de 40 euros car ma voiture est un SUV, ce qui m'a semblé discutable. J'ai également dû réserver moi-même un garage, mais je tiens à remercier le personnel pour leur aide précieuse à ce sujet. Concernant le mobilier, certaines chaises étaient inutilisables en raison de leur ancienneté et de leur état, ce qui ne correspondait pas au niveau de confort attendu. On pourrait penser que l'on dort dans un meuble ancien plutôt que dans un lit. En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner, il était correct, mais j'ai regretté l'absence de mets locaux, ce qui aurait pu enrichir l'expérience. Heureusement, le personnel était compréhensif et la réception a fait preuve d'empathie, ce qui a quelque peu atténué l'impact de ces désagréments. Néanmoins, cela ne correspondait pas à l'image que l'on se fait de l'établissement à travers les photographies sur le site internet. De plus, j'ai remarqué que le prix de la chambre affiché en ligne était bien plus bas que celui présenté sur le site hôtel.com, qui qualifie cet endroit comme un hôtel, ce que je considère comme une erreur. The Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located. We were a family of five and had a spacious room with a small fridge and kettle. I would recommend this property however WiFi coverage was horrible.

We checked in via the internet picked up our key in a box no problem manager contacted me the WhatsApp also great connection for no desk person. Nice breakfast helpful staff good place to leave the bags while we were out seeing Florence on the way out of town. Reasonably priced for a bit of an awkward check-in. Our room was above a yard where there was a bit of work so there was a bit of noise nothing to bother

Great hotel - close to Piazza Signoria - less than 5 min walk to Uffizi and Palazzo Vechio and just 10 min away from Duomo. Parking was easy, as the driver valet parked the car within 10 min after the request. Our room had a unique character, with 2 rooms and 2 baths, which made it convenient for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. The breakfast was good, but not great. The croissant was not as good as what we had in Venice, and the boiled egg was not fresh. The hot chocolate and coffee were good, and so was the cereal options. The elevator is useful to carry heavy luggage to the higher floors, but it is very small - only one person with one piece of luggage.

Not really a hotel. Dont expect anything except location

The location is in a main square and very easy to get to all the primary sites. The hotel is in a 600-year old building so very quaint but we enjoyed staying there. There were 3 of us in the room (2 adults and a teenager) but it was big enough to feel you had space and service was very good. The only negative was that it is advertised with "laundry" as an amenity, but there is no laundry and we needed to walk a few blocks for a self service. Full laundry service distance was much farther and prohibitive for us.

Service hat einwandfrei funktioniert, es gab immer kostenloses Wasser, Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage, sogar ein elektrischer Mückenvertreiber war vorhanden. Alles perfekt für mich.

The absolute best about this hotel is its central location (with regards to train station, places to visit, shopping and dining options) and its staff friendliness. If you are looking for a clean, centrally located hotel , offering all the basics you need (breakfast, wifi, drinking water supply, housekeeping), look no further, you are at the right place. But if you are looking for full fledged hotel facilities (spa, gym, pool, etc...), keep searching.

This is ideally situated near the closest monuments and within easy walking distance to all. Parking is difficult because you have to find an off site garage and that can make a short walk into a very long walk with luggage! Overall though, this place was excellent!

The location was ideal but the property was older rundown and the management is poor. Most of the time there is nobody there we were giving a ring of keys to get in and out because the touchpad was not working consistently. The coffee machine was broken the tie back hookfor the curtains was broken and fell out on the floor so they used a big squirt of caulking and taped it to the wall with a piece of masking tape. The shower was poor only had glass covering a third of the opening so the floor would get wet every time we shower. The pillows for the floor as well as the white sheets had stains very poor up keep maintenance. In the US this would be an 85 dollar per night hotel

Property location is good. But otherwise, property is really really dirty. The hallway in our room was dirty, and nothing was done when reported. Also there was a bunk bed in the room, and my kid was afraid to sleep in the upper side. We tried opening the sofa bed and it was broken. When we reported, we were asked the question who authorized us to open the bed! Breakfast options were good.

We liked the location. The friendly staff and how clean everything is. When we first walked into our room it seemed a bit old, but the size of the room was big and the bed was comfortable and felt very comfortable there. It wasn’t quiet but consider where you are! Would stay there again.

Musty smell, other than that everything was great and hotel seemed clean. Staff was awesome and assisted in getting us a Taxi.

The B&B Galileo 2000 is situated in a perfect position to explore Florence, all the must see sites are within walking distance, the room we had was the 'Romantic' room and was plenty big enough although there was no view from our window other than into another property, the room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Would recommend as an ideal place to stay as it's so conveniently situated.

Such a lovely place to stay! Everything was perfect and the staff was so kind. The terrace unfortunately wasn’t clean enough to enjoy but honestly we were not there as much as we thought. I’d stay again! Breakfast options were nice but light. Still happy with adding it to the room upgrade. Best little candies at the front desk!

Amazing location, super clean and modern spacious for a Rome hotel.

It was an amazing experience and the room was absolutely beautiful. We had the junior suite with the jetted tub. The staff was great and the area was perfect! My only concern was the smell that came from the bathroom every night when I was trying to sleep. Not sure if it was just old plumbing but I had to close all the doors because it was overwhelming. Again only happened at night which was strange. Besides that small problem everything was great and would absolutely stay there again!

My husband, two children, and I stayed here for two nights. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. Claudia checked us in and upon leaving, Maria Pia checked us out and called us a cab to the train station, which we were very thankful for. Daniel carried our bags to our room, which was great because the elevator couldn’t accommodate us all with our luggage. We had a two bedroom apartment on the second floor and it was nice to have two bathrooms. Everything was pretty clean; however, if you walk around barefoot on the hotel room floor you may want to rinse your feet before putting on shoes. The location was wonderful; walking distance to a ton of restaurants and shops. I also loved that you could fill up your water bottles in the lobby. Jenny in housekeeping was very sweet to our daughters and offered them some food from the cafe for the road. Would recommend!

Had a wonderful honeymoon experience at this hotel! We checked in late, and it was no problem what so ever! Such a beautiful room! The location is amazing, the nightly atmosphere is phenomenal! Our room was amazing, had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the square! Did not partake in the morning breakfast but it looked great! Would 100% recommend this hotel for any occasion!

The hotel is located in a great area for visiting the sights. We booked thru Hotels.com and didn’t notice the small print that says bed size and number can’t be guaranteed. I needed three beds and this hotel offered that on our reservation but gave us only two. The sofa bed was awful for anyone over 8. We could feel the bars underneath. Had a terrible nights rest. Breakfast was great and the gentleman at the front desk was apologetic but there was nothing he could do. The room with three beds is reserved for 5 people. Great for a two person stay.

Suite had a great view of Piazza and minutes walk from Florence’s main museums and cathedrals. Comfortable bed and clean En suite bathroom. Having a bathtub was a bonus too. Continental breakfast with great pastries and good coffee too. Very courteous and helpful staff and good video directions right to the room, something not given by many hotels!

Very large room, excellent location, comfortable and perfect for families. Loved it!!

Location of this B&B is what it has going for them. Room was very small, bed was comfortable but not somewhere to spend much time other than sleeping.

The worst issue was there is no sound proofing and given that our room overlooked the piazza (room 6), the drunken singing, yelling and street rave on Friday and Saturday nights were so loud it sounded like a woofer speaker blaring next to our bed. This did not stop until 3am Friday and 4am Saturday mornings. I had no sleep for 2 nights. The location was very central, but the sleep deprivation was just not worth the expensive stay.

What a beautiful accommodation in the San Firenze Piazza, in the middle of the historical center of Florence. Walking distance to everything Firenze has to offer. Cannot pay enough compliments to the wonderful staff. Federico took care of us like family. When we arrived there was a problem with our room, Federico upgraded us for our entire stay. We didn't mind moving several times to whatever room was available... including, for several days, the amazing, elegant and spacious canopy room overlooking the piazza. We got to experience all the charm and comfort of each spacious room. The buffet breakfast was excellent in the lovely breakfast room. Self serve cappuccino machine and a wide variety of fresh pastries, fruit, cereal, juices, hard boiled eggs, cheeses and meat, etc.. The train station is walking distance but the stop for the bus to and from the station is just around the corner. Galileo 2000 is a charming property and interestingly, shares its walls with Leonardo da Vinci's house where the Mona Lisa was painted. Grazie Mille for the beautiful stay Federico.

Great place to stay. Perfect location for getting around Florence and needing to come back. The staff completed the experience, straight from the get go we were given top service. Shown different places to visit and what was worth doing whilst we were there. We could not recommend this place enough! Grazie!

When it says checkin until 3, no one is there afterwards. We had to rent another hotel for night.

It was wonderful service!!! Location is fantastic!!! I felt humanity. The manager call our Taxi and drop off our 6 suitcases through the stairs. If I visit again, I will stay here again. Chao!

The guys at the front desk, were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us in every way, they made us Feel welcome.

I was charged in sterling for this stay and had to pay a mark up for conversion. The receipt said i had been offered a choice of currencies. I was offered none. Reception said they couldn't explain this or help me remedy it. A really bad start to the stay.

위치가 너무 좋았습니다! 두오모 성당을 도보 5분이면 도착! 베키오궁은 나가면 바로~ 베키오다리도 6-7분 천천히 걸어서 갈 수 있습니다. 우피치 미술관이 2분 컷으로 관광 및 현지의 느낌을 매일 밤 함께 할 수 있는 최적의 장소!!! 강력추천합니다. 다만… 구시가지 오랜 전통을 유지해야 하는 관계로 보통의 호텔 룸 컨디션과는 살짝 다르지만, 다른 일행이 머물렀던 구시가지 호텔 대비 방 크기, 직원의 친밀도 및 태도는 비교불가할 정도로 좋습니다 ㅂ니다~ 제가 다시 피렌체에 방문한다면 꼭 다시오고 싶은 곳입니다.

Excellent location, but poor breakfast, outdated rooms and leaking pipe and air conditioning. Overall not recommended other than for location.

The room is spacious, the building looks a little dated but is part of the firenze charm. The bed very comfortable, the bufett breakfast is ok, the cofee is great. The location is excellent.

Great the location. But the rest is no good: Breakfast is the worst I have so far in Europe. Diluted juice; some mornings there were no fruit at all and some mornings there were apples only. No hot food. Bed is way too soft and I literally had back pain after sleeping every night there. The mattress sinks when I sleep in and I’m not heavy at all. Just poor quality or old mattress. The shower room is also very small and blocks while showering.

If you want a place to stay that feels warm like family and home, this is the place! Includes breakfast. So convenient to everything. Great recommendations for dinner and sights too. Thank you, Maria!

The property was great with a very good location. It was modest in amenities but well taken care. The staff members were nice. However, I was requested to reuse my coffee cup in the coffee machine which I think it is unsanitary. The coffee machine was not design to reuse of cups. I will advise a dishwasher for breakfast area. I noticed that cups are washed by hand.
