First impression was that the public areas are presentable, and the check in was quick with extremely friendly, welcoming staff. However the rest of the hotel is very dated and needs some attention. The room was very warm and windows did not open, which would be an issue in the warmer summer months. It was however clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location.

Location great however the room we stayed in was freezing, mould on the net curtains, rusting on everything in the bathroom, very dated, water pressure was weak and either cold or burning hot. The hairdryer had on temperature which burnt my scalp. The door didn’t close properly took several attempts to lock from the inside. The noise from the upstairs room was shocking we could hear them moving about and the bed moving (luckily no loving went on) To make matters even worse when we went for breakfast my partner opened a small packet of cheese that had not only gone mouldy but it was that off a power come out of the packet when we showed the breakfast time he bought over another cheese and said this one looks ok! Disgusting this wasn’t a few days out of date but weeks! We come to Brighton 4-5 times a year as our son is in uni there we’ve stayed in many hotels out and new but this was the worst. Do not book!
