1 night stay for my partners birthday. Beautiful private island, recommend the spa and the deck to visit, it the weather is nice just enjoy walking around the island looking ate the animals.

Hotel was like staying in a country manor. Service was wonderful and so was the food. Lots of fun activities, just wish it had not rained so we could have done more! We booked spa treatments instead which were very good. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic hotel in a stunning location. Had a lovely walk around the island. Very helpful and attentive staff. Food was delicious and the swimming pool area was very relaxing. All in all a great few days away to chill and recharge. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. It is a gem in Scotland. We enjoyed every moment at Eriska: the dinner, the spa, the swimming pool, the house, the delicious breakfast. We will definitely come back and stay longer in this beautiful hotel!

The main building is a beautiful old country house. The food is lovely with a very relaxing atmosphere. The Clarsach being played near the roaring wood fire was really special. Having your own island to explore is a bonus!

Our stay was very disappointing and far from what you would expect from a 5-star property. The room was barely cleaned — apart from making the beds, no real effort was made, despite specifically mentioning that the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. The service throughout our stay was poor, and the staff were generally unfriendly. We were a group of four, yet only one small portion of strawberry jam was provided at breakfast. When my son politely asked for another, the waitress refused, saying they couldn’t give more, even though it was clearly available at other tables. The dinner menu was also very limited, particularly for children, with hardly any suitable options. Unfortunately, the overall experience was unsatisfactory in every aspect. The property simply does not live up to its 5-star rating.

No golf course and grounds have been neglected, nothing like the photo. It is clearly trading and relying on its past glory. An experience not to be repeated.

A gorgeous property with beautiful grounds. Expensive and the bed was an old-fashioned uncomfortable spring mattress. Food was average and service for dinner was extremely slow. Walking the grounds was wonderful, and our breakfast haggis and sandwich for lunch were quite good.

This was a fabulous hotel. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this private island escape. If you get a chance, upgrade to a spa room, they are amazing! The staff were lovely, the rooms very comfortable, bar and meals were great. Really enjoyed the accommodations and would very much like to visit again!

Stunning castle with spectacular grounds at your disposal. The meals were amazing and the staff incredibly helpful. We had a small villa just a few steps from the castle with all of the amenities imaginable. Only regret is we should have stayed longer!!!!
