Have heard nlt so good things about this hotel in the past but this is the first time I have stayed. It has new owners and well I must say they are turning it around. The price was very competitive and this included breakfast which was very good. The room was a little dated but was very clean, the bathroom is brand new and very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly. We didnt eat apart from breakfast so cant comment on the resteraunt other than the breakfast. We would stay again, also the free parking is very good.

This is a bit of a gem. Family run, very welcoming. Room good size with comfortable bed and good shower. The food in the restaurant was good quality. Situated very close to town centre with parking.

The staff was great and the room was clean. The breakfast was fairly good. The parking wasn't good at all. The hotel is on a very busy street and only has a few spaces in front of it. We had to park across the street, which had 4-5 lanes. That was very inconvenient.

We arrived and the booking was not what suitable as we had asked for an accessible room- no one contacted us back to say this would be an issue on our booking, no access into building for wheelchair users and it would be 19 steps to the bedrooms with no lift or means of accessibility for disabled people. We asked for a refund and were instructed to use the hotels app. But as it was check in day this was not possible. We then had to leave and find alternative accommodation for the night.

Wonderful front of line service, young man carried our bags as no lift and later brought pillow and took payment for our dinner. Dinner was Nepalese/indian, superb.

Harry, was perfect from the get go. Helped with directions, siggestions of what to see or where to park. He was friendly, heloful as he carried our bags up the stairs. Always attentive and a huge smile. He made our stay so much better. A great start to the holiday.

A nice, quiet hotel. Convenient for the railway station. Room was spotless. Meals in the evening were extremely generous in their portions. The best thing of all was the staff who were absolutely wonderful. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Perth.

Not at all the hotel as shown on the web site. Now a nepalese restaurant with rooms above. Tired room, poor bed and pillows and noise in bedroom from extractor fan outside bedroom window. Nice staff. Poor quality breakfast ingredients

It was very obvious the hotel had recently carried out an upgrade of the rooms. They presented very well, in particular the bathrooms. Only issue was no safety bars on the wall where shower is over bath. Also as for room not on main road as no double glazing and also offered ear plugs at check-in.

2 night stay, staff welcome very good. I would say the hotel is a 2 star at best, needs a lot of work done to improve the aesthetics. Bathrooms very nice, rooms dated and need TLC. Indian restaurant very good, food excellent, staff very friendly. First night television not working properly even though brand new, not resolved so no television to watch. Breakfast pre ordered also good.

Room 17. Bathroom needs to be upgraded, shower space is extremely small. There was a constant loud noise in the bathroom wall behind the mirror, to which we found a section of wall behind this mirror to be missing. Pipes etc exposed.

An unusual stay at The Grampian which also daylights as an Indian restaurant and if your lucky you will smell it in your room. Room was boiling hot, tucked away at the back of a corridor which was quiet apart from the air con unit buzzing you to sleep. Friendly staff and good location.

Friendly, helpful and very polite staff. Comfortable bed and spacious en suite room. Plenty of clean towels and toiletries.Tea and coffee making in room. Quiet room, clean and warm. Good choices for breakast and highly recommend the Shimla for a great curry. Plenty of hangers but only had coat hooks for hanging items. Easy walking distance for Perth city centre and walks beside the Tay.

The staff are very nice and helpful, the issue is there are so few of them. We never saw more than two members of staff and the poor staff member who was on himself at breakfast, cooked, served, cleaned tables and dealt with checkouts.

We requested a quiet room by email being aware of the main road outside the hotel. We were in a room above the entrance and a set of traffic lights outside our room. We requested a quieter room which we got straight away but the downside of the stay was the breakfast. The quality of the food and service was really poor so much so that we skipped breakfast on our departure.

Gute Lage innerhalb von Perth. Sowohl Bahnhof als auch Innenstadt zu Fuss zu erreichen. Leider manchmal etwas laut da das Objekt direkt an der Hauptstrasse liegt. Morrison Supermarkt nur drei Häuser weiter. Nettes Personal, jedoch selten an der Rezeption zu erreichen. Folglich muss man warten oder dem Personal hinterher telefonieren. Nicht sonderlich kundenfreundlich. Die Zimmer sind groß und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Auch das Frühstück ist absolut ausreichend.

The staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant of the hotel serves Indian & Nepalese food. We came back after 10 o’clock after going to a music concert and they very kindly kept our order hot for us. Both our Indian meal and Scottish breakfast were delicious

The staff were so helpful. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice. We ate in the evening and the food was amazing! Loads more than expected, don’t order just in case, there really is plenty!

We arrived just after 12 noon, were told they had been fully booked last night and could not get into our room yet. On asking to use the toilet he had to unlock the bar area (in guest book it states bar open from 10am). Ours was twin room it was clean and the bathroom looked newly refurbished. There was a kettle with coffee tea and milk, there were no biscuits and I had to place the kettle on the floor where the socket was. The breakfast was not a good set up - had to get your own coffees /tea from a machine make your own toast, It was busy at breakfast however there were noticeably tables not cleared and what appeared to be one family member eating breakfast at a table that would seat four, there were no bowls for the cereal, had to ask twice for these, choices had been made the night before my poached eggs were very over cooked and hard, They say this is family run but one guy appeared to be doing everything- reception, serving food, clearing tables while other family members appeared to be floating about. Overall it was an okay stay.
