When we arrived was told the pool was closed and had not updated in the website when we booked so we had to cancel and book somewhere else costing us even more money cause was last minute, staff just said well cancel without understanding the trouble and inconvenience that was causing

The room smell like cigarette. We were moved to a second room that continued to smell like cigarette. The pool was out of service and when I told management there was a leak in the tub his response was yes we tend to have leaks in buildings like this. Very unprofessional answer.

We found earwigs in the bathroom and in the bed. There were no functioning ice machines. From office staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average. The room price was good.

The place is in need of upkeep and deferred maintenance. Pool was closed and that what I needed most after a long drive. Manager was responsive and kind. Breakfast was generous and bed was solid.

The gym was not accessible. The lock was broken, and I had to get the property manager to come and open the door. Upon entry, the treadmill was broken. My room smelled like mold, and I found eight cockroaches in the room. Two were in my bed, three were in the shower, and the rest was on the walls. 3/10. I would give zero stars, but the staff and the security guard were super friendly.

The place needs major repairs the first one was the bathtub peeling and mildew by drain. The main door not aligned correctly and missing seal the heat, animals and outside noise coming through the door gaps. Otherwise room ok. The pool lounge chairs need upkeep and towels provided area and cleanness and maintenance personnel more visits.

Room door was hard to open. Then it wouldn’t close all the way. The room didn’t feel clean. Asked then to get room switch and claimed they sold out. Found maggots in the sink. Still no remedy to situation or attempt to make it better. The area had other loud tenants and interruptions at night. The room had little circulation and was stuffy even with the a/c on.

The bathroom had mold around all the grout. The surface of the tub was worn off, the upholstery on the chair and footstool was gross. On the sidewalk outside my room was stained with spilled drinks, trash can overflowing. The bathroom light and fan wall switch was hanging off the wall. The staff at the front desk had such strong East Indian accents, I couldn't understand them.

Don’t stay at this hotel. As soon as I opened the door of my room. I was greeted by a strong smell of mold. I had to leave my door opened for a while. The beds are terrible and they have some sort of bugs. Woke up the next morning scratching and all of my back had bed bites. Totally gross.

Horrible overall condition. The door to our room would barely open or close due to previous damage. The shower was in disrepair, bad patching work, and the safety habdle/rail was falling out of the wall. The bathroom wallpaper was flacking off, there was clear drywall damage, and also a small swarm of flys (or flylike insects) living in the bathroom. The matresses are cheap and uncomfortable. The facuet on the sink was also loose and spun around freely.....this place in a mess, in need of maintenance and repairs.

It was ok but the bathroom was a bit moldy in the ceiling. The carpet in the room needs to be deep cleaned or something you can smell the dirt. Also needs new painting, stains of stuff on walls. However staff were really nice! Specially the older Asian gentleman. Great customer service

The location is great, the room condition is okay, staff is fine and the breakfast was great. My problem is that I reserved a queen bed and was given a full instead. The heater also made a lot of noise at times, it seemed to be old.

Large pile of furniture garbage out front of property (couches, pallets, ext.) That attracted a homeless encampment. Strangers knocking on doors after hours. Had to call front desk to report. Neighbors kicked on wall for hours. Had to blast the tv to drown out loud neighbors. Some light fixtures in the room didnt work and the bathtub faucet leaked loudly all night. Outlets on the wall were broken as well.

The phone was not working as well as the clock on the bedside. Had to pull the phone wires out from behing the bed frame to replug the phone. Same with the clock. The shower had only warm water. Would not get hot. The handle on shower was coming off. Not a happy camper for staying at a Quality Inn.

The room was well-worn. The water and the heater were very slow and difficult to control. One evening when we returned, the INDOOR lock had engaged and we had to get the manager’s assistant to come open our door; he had then to go to another unit to fix the same problem. It apparently occurs frequently as they were well trained. The last morning at 6:45 am, a chainsaw operation commenced. Obviously in violation of local noise rules, but the manager took no action.

The property and the room were very clean. The WiFi was fantastic! The bathtub has some chipping on the glaze and the shower heat was mounted off center so I had to shower up against the wall. The room didn’t have a remote control so I couldn’t watch tv, they didn’t have one available. So I watched tve in my iPad.

The check-in was the best part of the trip, as well as check-out. They were extremely friendly, however the room was just kidna rough. Shower was leaking, and the ahower are was kinda dirty. Bed looked clean but it did seem a bit humid in the room not crisp. Temperature was fine. I liked that you can plug in your computer to the TV. No parking available which was annoying i had to park far away to get to my room and the walls and doors are super thin. I dont think i would stay again.

The office staff were great, helpful and courteous during our entire stay. We had to switch rooms which they accommodated in a short period of time. They were helpful in providing local information, sharing info on special rates for UCR students and other useful tips. The morning breakfast was great with different options.

The Breakfast exceeded my expectations and the preparer / meal staff was positive and friendly. This could have been a good + experience but for the lobby staffer who initially was professional and efficient. But when advised that the occupants of the room next door were sitting in the hallway, in camping chairs and making loud noises… No apology or empathy was offered, a different room was. When advised the new key cars was not working, again, no apology or empathy just a matter of fact instruction to come back to the office so that “I can show you” how to use the card and hung up on this guest while speaking. When I called back to ask why / if he hung up on purpose? again, no apology/ acceptance of poor staff to guest interaction… I have many customers! and second hang up. When I drove / walked back in… no contrition or empathy, immediately began to speak to me as if I was a child, demonstrating how the card works. When I explained that I had tried this, no words, just an issued a new card. Disappointed by the multiple negative interactions, I returned to the room and the new card immediately worked. My guess is there was a problem with the card initially issued. Lastly, at check out, I requested a print out/ receipt but was assured by a different/friendly staff member that it would emailed and my “reserve” amount on the booking credit card returned promptly. 48 to 72 hours later, neither has happened. Such a disappointment, this Inn has strong potential but poor guest exp

Came to the hotel to check in around 2:45 and we we were told to come back in 30 mins as the room we booked wasn’t ready yet. 30 mins later we try checking in again, the line was super long which is fine so we waited again. Then, when we were seen by from desk staff, they tell us again that it was gonna take another 30 mins to get the room ready. It was very upsetting because we had an event to go to, and the rooms were booked beforehand. We ended up being late to our event. Nevertheless, we stood our ground and stayed near the desk until we have the room ready. And they finally, have a room available. It felt disorganized. The event has been known for a while, it should have been planned better.

Terrible customer service. Mit, the front desk rep, was awful. My daughter had a softball tournament, and we decided last minute to stay in Riverside since their last game ended very late and they played early the next morning. When we checked in, the lobby had a funny smell, and the room had the same smell. My daughter was going to shower, but when she turned on the water, there was no cold water. After waiting a couple of minutes, I called the front desk. Mit said he had to come upstairs to verify there was no hot water. After waiting for 30 minutes, I called again, and it was almost 11 PM. He yelled, saying he was the only one working and told me to wait. Within 10 minutes, I called again and requested a refund, which he agreed to. He told me to come down to the lobby, but when I got there, he said I needed to call Expedia, raising his voice. Luckily, I got a good rep from Expedia and got a refund. While waiting for confirmation that my room was canceled, Mit ignored me for about 10 minutes and then said, 'Well, what are you waiting for?' At that point, I was done. Thank God for the Expedia rep and the Marriott next door. Lesson learned: don't go cheap, even if it's for one night.

My brothers and I had to come into Riverside for an unexpected family emergency. It was an incredibly emotionally stressful time for us. This Quality Inn manager & staff were absolutely amazing people. Their daily greeting and hospitable conversations with every guest projected a warm and sincerely welcoming environment. They offer a lovely breakfast. My brothers and I were truly grateful for their kindness. Thank you all so much.

People are very helpful. We had some additional time to kill since we were waiting on an activity. They let us do a late checkout and also let us use the dining area post checkout. It was very nice of them to accommodate the request.

It was the worst hotel was dirty shower very noisy trash cans where all overflowing, the stairs going up to the room was dirty and sticky. You don’t feel safe in the neighborhood homeless people all over the place.

Excellent location for visiting UC Riverside - the campus is less than five minutes away by car. The room comes with a complimentary breakfast buffet (nothing fancy, but a good way to start the day), and there are many inexpensive dining options nearby for lunch and dinner. The room was clean, if a little rundown. The beds were very comfortable - lots of soft pillows. The AC unit worked well to cool the room. The TV got basic cable and also connected easily to a Netflix account. The mini fridge was useful. This is still a motel - if you're looking for something fancy, this isn't it. But given the price and location, it exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased with my choice.

The property was fine. The area in general was firn as well. It had lots of stores and the college within walking distance. The empty lot between this and the property next to it had some leftover construction material which made it look a little messy. Inwould stay at the property again.

Room was very nice but telephone in room did not work but not a problem since I had a cell phone. When I couldn’t figure out how to work the TV, someone arrived within a few minutes and fixed the problem. The free breakfast was excellent with homemade waffles, eggs, sausages, yogurt, cereal, coffee etc.
