My wife and I had the best experience staying here on our Honeymoon. We upgraded to a river view room which was very worth it in our opinion. The room was huge, the view was gorgeous, the restaurant was delicious, and staff was great... If you're into whiskey the Distillery / Brewery tour was awesome and Frazer, the bar manager and tour guide was amazing. Cant recommend this place enough

Having a brewery and distillery onsite was nice. There are picnic tables outside as well as indoor seating. The rooms are in several adjacent buildings. Our room was on the second floor. There are no elevators. But our room was fairly large, comfortable, and quiet.

Rooms are spread through multiple buildings along the block, so each is probably different. Had an unusual room with 3 levels. Restaurant was good as well as Brewery. Make reservations for dinner. Breakfast buffet started at 7 and was fairly good. Was able to park on street in front for I think £4 by paying meter. And I think their lot in back would have been £12. Walkable to town for other dining options and some attractions. Close to castle, but still closed for renovation.

Had a pleasant stay. The location was just perfect, only a short walk from the city centre along the River Ness. Distillery and bar were nice too. Only downside was the lack of reliable Wi-Fi in the building I stayed at (the one with the restaurant). Other than that, would highly recommend!

Apartment was very clean and obviously well maintained. Had dinner in the Waterside restaurant and it was excellent, sea bass was amazing and the staff were very professional. £12 to park overnight in hotel car park, come on Glenn Mhor, thats extortion and will be off putting for future stays for sure !!

We enjoyed our stay at the Glen Mhor Hotel. It was very roomy and had a king bed. The bathtub was very high off the ground so climbing in and out for a shower was a little awkward. It was very convenient to walking all over town. Also we had a beautiful view of River Ness which had a lovely walkway on either side with easy access to bridges across the river. The WIFI was not very good however.

Wouldnt stay here again, apartment 1 is in disrepair. Ripped, dirty carpets and uncomfortable beds. Disspointing! When i brought it up at checkout, they just agreed that the apartment is run down!

Room was dirty, shower was moldy, room was extremely small, room was hot and being an eldery couple the stairs were difficult to maneuver with luggage. Do not recommend to elderly. Music was loud from the distillery.

We stayed in apartment 10. It is in need of repairs, cleaning and updating. The shower was gross. The towels were old and threadbare. You could hear upstairs neighbors way too easily. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. It is conveniently located and has free parking, otherwise completely overpriced for what you get.

Booked here as was taking part in Loch Ness marathon. The location was perfect and that's about it. Upon checking in I was charged the total cost of the stay again despite being confirmed I'd payed. The room was ok however there were patches of mould on the ceiling and in the shower and our room wasn't serviced. The hotel seems nice enough, but overpriced compared to others I've stayed in in Inverness. Nice bar, basic mouldy room.

Staff were very good and helpful in all areas, reception, bar and restaurant. However the room smells badly of damp. It is a top floor room and I suspect a roof issue or leaking shower. Also, most definitely didn’t appreciate the stealth change of £12 to park my car for the night!

This was a very nice property. Very clean and located close to the city center. Why I'm not giving 5 stars. There is no room safe and the shower is incredibly small. Noise is a factor also. You can hear everything. From the people next door to walking in the halls. The doors are also extremely loud when being closed. The onsite restaurant was nice. Just be sure to make reservations or youll be waiting a long time. The wait staff could be a bit more cheerful. With the exception of David, who made you feel welcome and always checked on your table.

Very disappointed with this hotel. My room was nothing like the ones shown on the website. Felt like Harry Potter stuck under the stairs. Was in Inverness for the marathon, which made the supremely uncomfortable bed all the more irritating. I know it’s a busy period for the hotel and their prices will be high to to demand, but I paid £215 a night, and it felt like a total rip off. The bar and communal areas of the hotel were nice with lots of seating and good drinks. Just make sure you don’t get room 510 and you’ll probably be fine!..

This hotel is really a collection of other buildings that appear to have been apartments. Our room was small - typical in Europe. It was clean with a comfortable bed. The location was beautiful along the Ness River. We would choose it again if we return to Inverness.

The room was nice. Bathroom great. Noise level was terrible. A family with a child were above us and we heard stomping, yelling, and running all night and during the day. Noise also included the child trying to open our door multiple times. Rooms have no sound dampening. Luckily, we didnt spend a lot of time in the room during the day. The staff was great. The breakfast was tasty. The brewery staff was wonderful. Good location. Be ready to walk a lot. But, that's true about anywhere in Inverness.

The hotel location is excellent - it is along the river and just far enough from the main area to be quiet in the evenings. It was about equal distance from the river restaurants and the Ness Islands which made for very nice walks. We got upgraded to the two room suite which was fantastic and the staff was very helpful. The rooms are a bit dated with no mini-fridge which was only an issue given the height of tourist season pricing. Breakfast; however, was terrible - we ended up doing breakfast elsewhere after the first day despite it being included in our room price.

The location is amazing. The room was okay. Clean and comfortable. The staff was not the best. The staff at check-in seemed to not care we were there and generally looked bored to be there. The worst part was waking up to no hot water. So taking a shower was not very pleasant. When I brought it up to the staff, they just shrugged and said well there is hot water now. Yep, now that I’m packed up and checking out.

Not easy to access the place to check in We arrived at 2.30pm hoping our 3 rooms would be ready. Told they might be soon and to come back in an hour. After returning, told the check in was 4pm and the rooms were still being cleaned. Returning at 4pm they were still not available. Did not get into them until just after 5pm. Not a great start for a one night stay. Reception said they would pass my concerns to manager. Next morning I asked if she had talked to manager and told no. He was in a staff meeting and was unavailable but she could give me his number to call later. I eventually asked where the meeting was, as I was not leaving before speaking to him. I had to go and get him as the receptionist wouldn't. We discussed the wait time checking in as check out was 11am and we didn;t get in until after 5pm. 6 hours to clean rooms ?? I told him I had taken pictures of the cobwebs all over the bedroom ceiling which definitely did not mean they were cleaned. He gave us a 30% discount on each room but the way the whole thing was handled by reception was totally unacceptable. Kudos for the discount but would not recommend this place at all. Reception were so rude and couldn't care less.

This was my 3rd time in Inverness. Staying at the Glen Mhor was superb. The rooms were magical, one could watch the river for days on end. We stayed for a week and dinned for breakfast and dinner, both were lovely, the dinner experience was great and all food options were delicious. A solid 5 stars! All the staff were exceptionally helpful and made it a fantastic stay.

This was our third time at Glen Mhor so needless to say we enjoy staying at this hotel. Brought five friends this time who enjoyed it too. Delighted to see the renovations; rooms and bar/ dining areas modernized but retaining comfortable elegance. What brings us back: the large comfortable rooms; the in house dining; location and views on the river; easy parking; and walking to high street. On the downside: No elevators to easily reach higher floors so either request a lower room or ask for help with your luggage. The receptionist on checkin didn’t offer help but someone later told us we should have asked, so we struggled needlessly.

Amazing service and staff. The restaurant there was amazing, in a great location with great views. Rooms had some outlet issues but were fixed within 15 minutes of notification. Wi-Fi was pretty spotty as well. Would recommend to anyone visiting Inverness!

My partner and I stayed here and, aside from the location, the experience was awful. The hot water never worked, despite repeatedly alerting staff, who were rude and unhelpful. The receptionist refused to give her name or fix anything, just kept asking us to be patient. The wifi didn’t work in our room either, and they clearly had no interest in addressing it. The bathroom had only half a roll of toilet paper for two guests, and the front desk begrudgingly gave one thin, scratchy roll. The location is quite excellent. It’s easy walking along the Ness River Walk; Ness Islands and of course, town center Shoe shopping!!! If you have never shopped for shoes in Scotland, I highly recommend you do so:)

Location is great. Hotel room had very comfortable beds. The bathroom was huge with shower and tub, but looked out of space and empty. No railings or hooks for towels. No safe in the rooms either. We had a tour with the distillery with Richard who was fantastic. Breakfast seemed very disorganized and not a lot of options. Coffee also not as good.

Booke a Deluxe room and was dissapointed to find no special touches like bathrobes and toiletries. Toiletries consisted of a handwash and a hair and body wash combined. Hotel very impersonal due to I think the rooms being outwith the main reception. Breakfast was very basic notva lot on offer. Only one type of egg available scrambled. Used the Waterfront restaurant and meal was lovely, service in restaurant was excellent. Bar area in hotel was dark and dreary so used Hotel next door.
