I was somewhat put off when we first arrived by the $100 deposit and the charge per dog to stay ($15) because I didn’t see this mentioned in the ad until I looked through the fine print. That said, this hotel was clean, comfortable and safe with a nice pool and nice place to walk your doggies. Staff was also nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our three day stay.

I was there for Business but definitely enjoy the outside when I’m not working. With that said the rooms were super clean,the beds were amazingly comfortable. The front desk was kind and friendly and the breakfast that is offered was very nice and the area was kept clean also. My only complaint would be, the pool is small with very few chairs and it does not appear to be kept clean and my only other complaint is that it had a very Motel feel on the outside, which made me feel uncomfortable at first !!

We actually stayed at this motel twice over the course of our trip. It was affordable and clean. Not the fanciest place to stay, but it met our needs. Even though there are no elevators, I preferred the night we stayed on the second floor, as it was quieter, but as it’s an old building, you do hear your neighbors.

This is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a convenient location and quality room. I've stayed here a few times, I highly recommend it for the discerning budget traveller. The cleaning staff does a great job with the rooms, and they are prompt and courteous if you need something. I love the ease onto the expressway, and close proximity to food options. I often take walks around the grounds and it is lovely. There is also truck parking.

Sign outside says newly remolded. That is a lie! Place Hasn’t been remolded in years! Rooms were dirty and we had ants in several of the rooms we and our fellow travelers had. Some of the handles on the furniture were broken. Will not EVER stay there again!

Room was absolutely filthy!! Filthy around door knobs and light switches. Never been cleaned. Floors were so filthy that when I took my shoes and socks off and walked around the room a few minutes preparing for bed, the bottoms of my feet were absolutely BLACK. I have photos! I showed the front desk clerk. He snickered and said he was not surprised. The maid never cleaned the room or made the beds. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast. I got to the lobby 15 minutes before breakfast was over and everything was already put away!!! M effers!!! The man next door stood right outside our door, smoking and talking loudly on his phone until 3am! There were cigarette ashes and butts right in our room's doorway where he flipped them during the night.

Absolutely terrible stay. Men was upstairs sitting outside drinking using terrible language. Room was dirty , had spiders in the bath tub. Feet got dirty walking without wearing shoes. Absolutely disgusting motel. Outdated

I liked the staff at the front desk. They were easy to talk with and helpful. I did see at least two live roaches inside our room on the ground floor the first night which was a little disturbing. Thankfully my daughter was asleep and didn't notice them or it would have freaked her out and make sleeping difficult. Needs to be better efforts on the part of the staff to prevent roaches

I am a regular for the times when I need a quiet get-away. Until this stay it's been great. The stay started going hill at check in when they said my card I used through Hotels had declined. So I went ahead and paid at check in. It turned out the payment had indeed gone through and the front desk girl had it wrong. She also put me upstairs when I asked for a ground floor. Strike two. The third strike was the wi fi was WAY slow and was constantly dropping off. Part of reason I check in is to do some work away from the office without distractions so with the bad wi fi I couldn't do that. Strike three. I was booked for two nights and in the morning I asked to switch rooms, one on the ground floor and closer to the wi fi access port. All I got was attitude. Strike four. I checked out but couldn't get refunded without jumping through many hoops on Hotels.com. I don't think I'll stay there again.

We were greeted by an efficient and earnest staff member at the counter, both for check-in and check-out, but that's the best thing i can say about this hotel. We weren't expecting much, but we were still disappointed. Our front door had about a 1 inch space underneath directly to the outside, and when shut, would rattle every time another nearby door opened. We ended up rolling up a towel to block the opening, and pressing a chair against the door to stifle the movement. The AC unit was a little loud, but that wasn't an issue, until we realized it wasn't even cooling, just idling. Once it did turn on it sounded like a gas powered lawn mower. It did chill the room quite effectively, despite it's trivial condition. The bed was very firm, not unlike sleeping on a stack of cardboard. Visually it was nice and clean, and the bedding was actually soft. The rest of the room, including the bathroom, didnt have anything notably good nor bad about them. Despite appearing well used, the room was cleaned and tidied quite nicely. Overall, it was clean but uncomfortable and minorly unsettling given the state of the door and ac unit.

Check was at 3:00pm, we got there at 5:15pm our room was not ready, I told them that we have dinner reservation at 7pm we need to shower and change, her response was we have 100 rooms to clean with 4 employees, I could give you your refund, so at 5:15pm on valentine's day where you think I am going to find a hotel, that was not the point I answer, anyway we waited our room was ready 6:30 pm, . we could not sleep at night because the A/C was so noisy we had to turn it off, and the projector outside the room was so bright, the curtain didn't help.

The room itself was decent enough claiming recent refurbishment but I’d give the makeover a B- based on the details, finish & fitment. The hotel exterior was not refurbished looking old, outdated and appeared dirty in many areas and is located in a sketchy part of town. We arrived for check in 3:00. We were given a room that was not made up. The beeding was piled on a chair, so it appeared housekeeping stopped cleaning. When i went back to front desk, i asked to speak to supervisor, was told there wasn't one, but after asking the front desk attendant why rooms weren't ready, a supervisor came from behind the partition. She said they would take care of it. I was tired and frustrated, as we had been in the car all day and already unloaded our luggage. Rather than being apologetic, the supervisor said more than once, " we're taking care of it." She had quite a rude attitude. When i asked if she understood why i was frustrated, she said that since she was in the hospitality industry, she would have been more understanding in my place. No offer of any sort made at an apology, no willingness to accept responsibility. It us my belief that if 3:00 is check in time, rooms should be ready at 3:00. I saw housekeeping still working on roomscwhen we left for dinner around 5:30. Either they are understaffed, or not very competent. Either way, this may well have the worst check in experience I've ever had.

Unable to check in due to system being down. Booked a week prior but no contingencies set in place for this location in case system goes down. Heard from a guest that their ac unit wasn’t working either and to stay away. Front desk didn’t bother to call any checkins letting them know the system is down to make reservations elsewhere mind you system was down for 3 hours already. After reaching out to 4 sold out hotels, we found a 5th. PSA….. STAY AWAY from Days Inn.

Going on a cruise out of Port Canaveral, we wanted an inexpensive overnight that was clean and comfortable. We found it with the Days In. At Melbourne. We had a comfortable stay and the staff at the front desk, especially Marney was very friendly and helpful! We will be back next time we cruise out of Port Canaveral.

There had been a misunderstanding with the 3 rd party reservation and when we arrived our 14 day reservation had been cancelled by the hotel employee who had misunderstood the request from the 3 rd party to book an extra night since I was arriving one day early. Thanks to Robin who was at the reception that evening she cleared out everything with the 3 rd party As the days went by hosekeeping never cleaned our room or at least empty garbage and leave fresh towels. I would go to reception and ask that at least towels and garbage be done,everytime whoever was at reception would say ,of course I will notify and write down on a piece of paper. In short they never came except after a week they cleaned everything and changed the bed,well I thought to myself it took a week but they finally understood, well how wrong I was. Went back to reception hoping to be on Robins shift since she had solved my reservation issue when I first arrived. Well luck was with me she was working.So I explained what had been going on for a week and that I would like faceclothes and garbage emptied every day.She told me it was probably because I had a dog, I told her the only time the dog was alone in the room was when we went to breakfast and I would leave the DoNot Disturb sign. So Robin advised housekeeping that they could enter the room because the dog was never left alone after breakfast. All I can say is thank goodness for Robin,if it had not been for her my vacation would have been a disater.

Checking in took a long time. My stay was good. I cant understand this, I signed all these papers and never got a receipt or a copy of anything I signed. I did not have the option of keeping the key with all my information. I made a video of how I left the room and of the microwave and TV working. I have no written proof I stayed at this hotel. An 11 year employee KAVIDA decided she could not do what the fr staff member had done 24 hours earlier and allow us to stay although the CC on file was not present. 24 hours earlier, the staff member who checked us in thought this to be the case also and initially we were leaving. I definitely enjoyed my stay here. I definitely got the value of the price I paid. Is it a stellar property? No. Is it new an updated? Some of it is but mostly no. Is it clean and comfortable? Absolutely. I think my biggest disappointment there was the poor quality of the Continental breakfast. It really was carbolicious. A lot of quick grab and go high sugar and preservative muffins which I have a particular diet that that does not lend itself well to. The laundry facility definitely needs updating. There are not enough machines and the ones that are there are Rusty and rickety. I also think that the rooms could be updated a bit better in terms of security. But generally the property was nice and I liked it.
