Villas at Poco Diablo

The Villas at Poco Diablo were great. The location was close to the "Y", hiking, shopping, dining. The property was quiet and well-kept and being able to use the fitness facility at the Poco Diablo resort was a great bonus, though that facility could use some TLC. It was adequate. The kitchen was VERY well-equipped and truly supported our need to be able to cook and eat our own food, as I have very specific dietary needs. The staff was friendly and coming and going was a breeze. The bed was comfy and the very large soaking tub was wonderful! We could have stayed there weeks! It felt like home. The cost was perfect for us and we would definitely return to this property in the future.

The one bedroom Villa was nice and large, it had everything one would need if you would like to cook and eat there. The bed was comfortable and lots of closet space. Only down side is parking, it is very tight, if you have a large vehicle you will not be able to park by your room. There are a few spots at the front you can park, the property isn't huge so your vehicle is still close by. We would definitely go back.

Nice place, loved the gas fireplace, nice patio area with grills, didn't make it to the pool or hot tub, but they looked nice. Pleasant area -- the fitness center is up at the resort, so never made it there either. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked.

Place was great. Very nice unit, good location only 10 mins from town. Pool was nice on hot days, jacuzzi felt great after long hikes. One strange thing… we had about an inch of leaves piled up in front of our unit. Cleaning crews walked past it for 3 days and did nothing. I mentioned it to the office and was asked if I didn’t see the broom in the closet…??? Really? We are expected to sweep sidewalks? I never even looked for a broom. (They did remove the leaves the next morning)

Property is nice, swimming pool and hot tub are nice and centrally located. Lighting in the villa is limited and fairly dark. Really enjoyed the stay however one minor complaint…. Laundry facilities are very limited and the hours are not conducive to travellers. Who wants to do their laundry from 9-5? What about the evenings?

We had a hard time finding the property after dark we had to call for help. We finally found a very small sign on the side of the wall. Arrival. People are helpful and got us there after a bit of communication. It was clean the pillows were very lumpy. Nice pool and jacuzzi tub in room.

Beautiful and spacious room. Great view and privacy. Very quiet. Nice communal outdoor patio area with tables and barbecue by the creek.

The large lawn with beautiful trees and grass in immaculate condition with view of red rock hills from my studio unit back porch. Restaurant at resort had great food and easy walk up path from Villas. Pool was nice too. And BBQ area had tables with umbrellas and trail down to creek.

In Sedona for work, stayed here quite a bit and was always impressed by the property. Quiet clean and love the location on the creek. The only thing I would change is a little more lighting in the parking lot.

Cleaning was great, comfy beds, lots of towels. Adequate kitchenette , well supplied. Good check in folks and concierage as well.

The shower is a step jacuzzi tub and does not have handles inside tub. Extremely dangerous. The inside of unit was well appointed with kitchen utensils, etc. However, other appointments were old and worn. The apt. Was not clean, cobwebs and counters have never been cleaned…very soiled.

Our stay at the Villas At Poco Diablo was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush landscaping and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The villa itself was spotless, spacious, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable—close to all of Sedona’s amazing attractions, yet tucked away in a quiet, serene setting. We especially loved relaxing on the patio and enjoying the breathtaking red rock views. The amenities, including the pool and walking paths, made our trip even better. We can’t say enough great things about this place. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

Very clean and spacious! I definitely would stay again.

The property was older, but fairly well-maintained. There was only a live person for info, check in and out from 9-6, leaving a group of 4 couples waiting and unsure how to access our rooms after 6:00pm. A good deal of mold was prevalent in the shower/tub area and the air conditioning was quite loud and ran continuously.

Tile floor and carpets very dirty. Hair on side of tube. Kitchen clean.

Started out with a good vibe on location and facilities. Turned back the bed sheets. Cleaned but VERY old sweat stained fitted sheet. Replaced with clean sheets in closet. Maid left clean sheet in the morning. No hairdryer but very good hot water and pressure. Reviewers were right about the old tired furniture and carpet. Maybe not all villas as dated as Villa #308.

Loved the location and close to everything. Room had a mildew smell and a lot of dust/debris in the air, but other than that, we loved it. Fireplace and outdoor patio balcony were great touches.

Our concierge was simply wonderful! She was polite, friendly & went above & beyond to make our stay as amazing as it could be. We then went to Tracy to check in. She was on a personal phone call when we walked in, which is why the concierge had to entertain us for 10 minutes. Tracy was as rude as the day is long to me (the one that gave her payment), but turned to my husband & all of a sudden grew a personality. It was, "Yes, sir!" "Of course sir!" Having worked as a desk clerk for too many years to count, that struck me as wrong on SO many levels. I was polite, said hello & we're checking in for the weekend. I haven't experienced such a rude desk clerk in the last 20 years. The room was supposedly the best they had. The kitchen is dated (think 1980's). We moved the ottomans in the living room and found food chunks from previous guests. Housekeeping might also want to wipe down the doorframes in the bathroom once in a while because it was nasty. I accidentally dropped the salt shaker on our first night and it broke. My husband went the next morning to let the desk clerk know and she said, "Don't worry, we'll charge you for it." Warm fuzzies all around! That 98 cent Walmart salt shaker? Yeah, go ahead and charge me. I stayed at this location 8 years ago which is what brought us back to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I won't make that mistake again. I do NOT recommend this location in the least.

Loved the pond with a view and frog & wildlife outside our patio. Bed was very comfy. Room was well supplied. Close to everything. Service was very responsive. The shower and air tub were great.

The pros - The unit was very clean and has awesome water pressure. Our unit had a beautiful view of the creek. The location its self is quiet and away from the hub bub of Sedona but close enough to get where you want to go. Staff is very responsive to questions. The cons - It take several minutes for the water to get hot so it feels like you are wasting so much water to dishes or shower. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything going on in your neighbor's room. The heating unit is loud and rattles. The ceiling fan ticks. The building makes loud popping noises when the sun starts to come up. The upper walls of the bedroom are open to the living area. So if you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you.

We really enjoyed the huge room. We had a nice view from the patio and felt very safe. The room had a fireplace, giant main room, a small refrigerator, and usable kitchen with dishes, and a giant tub. We didn't use the kitchen or the tub, but enjoyed the space that the two of us had. Parking was spacious, too. It's a little down off the main road - it's at the very bottom of the road.

Older property in nice setting. Rooms are a bit worn. Some furniture is getting threadbare. A bit pricey for the room condition.

Great, large room with giant bathtub and spectacular views! The only issue is very weak wifi and no cell service, but great to unplug. Great location.

The room was very clean and comfortable. However, we had to call maintenance to have our heater turned off because it was very loud. The internet did not work (which was advertised as an amenity) and cell service was poor so I couldn’t use my hotspot. The walls are thin so we heard our neighbors late at night and early in the morning.

Stunningly peaceful property with Oak Creek access a few steps from the patio. Exceptionally clean villa and a supremely comfortable pillow top bed with vaulted ceiling, as well as parking a few steps from the door. Highlight ~ An oversized jetted Jacuzzi tub for deep relaxation after hiking. The central Sedona location made it a breeze to access local sites and shops. Truly, a hidden gem!

The property is unique, and in a great setting and right next o Oak Creek. The problem was that electronics don’t work there, and they don’t tell you upon booking. We need to stay in contact on an elder care issue, but cell service didn’t work and wi-fi didn’t work until our last night there. We also had to reboot the box on the tv to get it to work. In today’s world, connectivity is a big deal.

Park setting with family of ducks peacefully living on pond in front of units patio, even a token grey heron. Fireplace was broken with dead bird inside. Kitchen was clean and easy to prepare coffee packets there. Check in was precarious with note on door advising no staff avail. Called number on sign and was given direction how to open secure box to retry room key. Ok to get key but unsettling to know no staff available.

Amazing location great staff

The property was in good condition and in a beautiful location. Very cozy and clean although it needs updating. The staff communication was excellent and very friendly. All instructions were given ahead of time for a seamless check-in.

Check in process was rough. I called the main hotel to inform I was going to be well past check in, he was rude and wasn’t helpful. I called again later and she was a lot better directed. In the morning checked in with Tracy who was such a delight and extremely helpful to navigate the hikes in the area. We called for a minor problem and she was able to send someone out to resolve it within 30 mins. Check out with Tracy was easy as well, she was very kind. WiFi wasn’t the best quality out IPhones, MacBook, or fire stick couldn’t connect at all.

Check in was super easy, the lady was wonderful!! The villas was great, we loved the property. We only stayed one night but will definitely be back.

Chec- in and check-out were very easy. The lady on duty was very pleasant and helpful.

Up here working it’s quiet and comfortable. The staff is quick to solve any problems and very friendly.

The good: Our room faced the creek and red rocks, clean room but really dated. The bad: the bed is rock hard and there is no mattress topper. The ugly: this a time share property and they have very limited personnel to assist you. Make sure you arrive no later than 5:30pm. They do have a lock box for late arrivals. However, they require that you have your keys updated next day or you’ll be locked out. So we had an early day planned, hiking Jeep tour, etc. but had to reschedule for that reason. Their front desk only operates 9am-5:30pm so good luck out there. NOT ACCEPTABLE POCO VILLAS MANAGEMENT!!! (Who don’t care either)

Property location was very accessible being on the outskirts of main shopping area. After seeing how traffic could be in town and how access could be blocked to other properties, it was great to know that we could come and go with no issues. Overall this property was great and would stay there again!

Our room was huge and comfortable. The property was beautiful and quiet. Easy drive to shopping and dining. Be prepared to lose cell service. Had no trouble accessing WiFi.

The check in was quick and easy and friendly. Plenty of room in the villa and was fully stocked. Loved the huge tub, it was perfect to soak in after long hikes earlier that day! Loved the little fireplace and the view of Oak Creek from the back patio slider!

A little tricky to find the entrance because it is so close to Poco Diablo Resort it can be a bit confusing. It was nice to have a studio and sit on the couch to watch the TV. It was even nicer to have 2 separate sinks making it easier for my husband and I to get ready at the same time. We didn't use the kitchen but made use of the fridge. It is in a good location but you do need a car to get around.

We love this location - it is near the creek and so peaceful! Rooms are great too and hotel service has never disappointed.

This is a great property from the convenient location to the villa itself-- super clean with everything you need for a long stay. Beautiful views and a patio with woods and creek in the back. Really good value.

Perfect place for us to sneak away to. Good food/bar on-site so we could stay put if we wanted too. Beautiful grounds and views with hiking all around.

It was amazing the views oh the views felt like a fancy summer lodge creek walking distance bbq’s everywhere kitchens no reason to leave but if you do Sedona is minuet’s away

Our Villa was just like being at a small Air B&B - we had a fully stocked kitchenette with all sorts of small appliances plus a stove top and dishwasher. The fridge was a little larger than a standard hotel room. Loved having a fireplace in our room, which we took full advantage of during our stay. Would definitely go back. Recommend arriving during the day as the turns off the main road and the side street are easy to miss the first time.

We were very pleased with our stay. Great place to stay, beautiful, comfortable, quiet and very clean. The kitchen just needed a skillet included with the pots. Would definitely stay there again if ever back in the area.
