No Wi-Fi for the entire stay. Major building work - the ceiling in the room below mine was being taken down. My whole room was shaking. No warning was given.

We didn’t stay there as they had essential maintenance going on, we were transferred to the Moxy, room wasn’t a superior room as we originally booked at the Duke of Cornwall so weren’t happy and I think it was cheaper than what we paid!!! We can’t rate it as couldn’t stay there

The car park is not big enough for a hotel of this size, and parking took a long time as a result. Check in was very disorganised. The first room had no working shower so I was moved, but the second key and paperwork didn’t match and I was sent to a room that was already occupied, resulting in the embarrassing experience of walking in on a naked guest. The buttons on the lift didn’t light up so I. Assumed the lift wasn’t working, this meant repeated trips up and down between the 4th and 5th floors. After a long day of work things should be straightforward and easy, but the arrival was unnecessarily stressful. Staff were apologetic and resolved the issues in the end, and parking charges were waived, but the overall check-in experience was poor.
