Ran out of soap, trashes needed to be emptied in room, a clean towel wld have been nice. No trash cans around the pool around which then makes ppl end up leaving their trash. Same with snack room, there was no trash can??

This place is safe to stay at, well lit, affordable, saw kids swimming n using the pool, basic amenities no breakfast, free coffee great for my golf trip all i did was sleep n shower, everything worked, balconies on rooms were nice! Would definitely stay again

The staff is always great. They’re just in the process of remodeling, so it seems that there is a lack of consistency. Broken A.C. In the room or a barely working fridge and a broken ice machine. If you report it, they don’t ignore it. I’ve had long term stays and have chosen this location repeatedly. It feels familiar to me with their accommodating staff, ready with a smile, Brianna, Crystal, the 2 with shorter hair along with the young man who works nights. With housekeeping I’m always met with smiles and eagerness to make sure I have what I need. Like I said, it’s just the facility that’s a work in progress. It’s across the street from the rail and close to a pharmacy, fast food and a grocery store. I use Ubers

I would never stay here again, first room we got had roaches. Once the light was turned on there was roaches on the wall, the headboard of the bed, in the tub, and at random spots. Brought it up to the manager and the next day was given another room which still had roaches but not as bad as the first room. I would have just left and got another hotel but the place clearly stated NO REFUND. This place should not be listed on Expedia.

The room was dirty. When I was checking in, the girl was so worried about her phone call she barely paid any attention to checking me. Didn’t give me any information about check out times, pool times or anything about the property. The hotel was under construction so the halls were full of furniture. Even though I set my room key card on top of the dresser around nothing else, it was unable to be used the following day. The light switches were barely hanging on. You had to touch them just right to turn on the lights. There is no insulation in the door and every sound made in the hallway could be heard all night long. You could also see light coming from the hall through the door frame. The AC was so loud. In order to hear the tv, the sound had to be turned up to 35 just to hear it over the AC.

We were wary upon arrival based on surrounding area and the smell in the lobby. While walking to the room we noticed a lot of stains on the carpet. We got the room and immediately noticed stains on the bed sheets and curtains. The desk in the room was full of sticky streaks. Apprehensively, we pulled back the bed sheets and found a curly black hair in the bed. We immediately walked back to the front desk and told them we were checking out. We didn’t last 15 minutes at the property.

I found several hairs of someone else on the top bedspread of my bed. I spilled some water from the shower on the bathroom floor and used the towels provided to clean it up. I asked the front desk for new towels and to empty the trash. Housekeeping left a new set of towels on the bathroom counter but did not remove the dirty towels from the room. They also left trash bags on the counter but did not actually empty the full trash cans. The bathroom often smelled like cigarette smoke or pot smoke, so it seemed like air flow from another or other rooms was getting into the bathroom. It's supposed to be a non-smoking property, but they didn't seem to be making an effort to enforce that. One night, there was bass from a stereo in another room or a car stereo that could be heard past midnight. I often heard other room doors slamming throughout the night and early morning. I get that some of these issues are outside the control of hotel staff. Even so, all things considered it was a 2-star experience and I will not book again.

The room was clean and the bed pretty good but the furniture in the room was very sparce. It had a nightstand, desk, and one plastic molded desk chair. Although I was compensated for it there was no hot water the second night.

Where to begin. There’s no furniture in the rooms except for the bed. No desk, no chair. The phone had been ripped off the wall and was just placed on the tv stand with exposed wires. All of the furniture had animal scratches as well as the door. The toilet seat had been worn down so far that the enamel was gone. The hallways smelled like cigarettes, animals, and the strongest cleaner smell known to man. Not a great combination of smells. BUT, all in all…. The stay was adequate and I slept well, and the price is one of the cheapest in town. Totally fine for a one nighter. Just know what you’re paying for as some photos can be misleading.

Seemed like another recently renovated motel. Good try, but a ways to go to be a nice hotel. Tv didn’t work well. Had to figure that out. Towels looked like crap. No rugs, no warmth. Looked like a dorm room. Was there a staff?

The curtains were ripped, washroom had very dark lighting, poor lighting throughout room, as no lamps in room. Pillows were awful and only three single bed size pillows. Called front to ask for additional and they said “no” and they didn’t have any toiletries. Sheets were polyester, no actual blanket. Had a two sheet with a single polyester fuzz blanket between. Always a pleasant stay. But the internet, please get better internet. It makes working from the hotel difficult when i am only getting AOL dial up speeds. But outside of that, room and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Waited 25 minutes for someone to appesr at the front desk. She was helping a guest with his TV. Four other couples also waited. 1. - No way to contact anyone. 2. - No chairs in the lobby, so had to stand. 3. - No restroom available following a long drive.

BEST STAFF BEST INEXPENSIVE HOTEL YET!!!! WOW! First of all I want to thank the wonderful Krystal at the front desk who really took care of me from day one, helping me find the perfect room,and even bringing up a package I might have missed! She really made this visit something special and personal so thank you Studio 6 for hiring such a great staff! And Azul was so helpful as well, always smiling and gracious.People make a place and if you need anything from this great place they will be sure you’re taken care of with such great people. My stay has been nothing but a delight with everything in perfect running order. This has been my first “6” experience and I will definitely be back! Thanks again everyone! You are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! To be honest, one of the best cheap hotels i have stayed at. Been staying at hotels till my apartment is ready and this hotel is the best I have stayed. The staff was great! Chrystal helped me a few times regarding my room registration! She was awesome! The customer service was outstanding so the staff deserves a A+

This isn't as near to Sloan Park as you think, it's not in the best of areas, lots of RV and trailer parks surrounding it and transients at all hours. It's a former Econolodge that is being turned into a Studio 6, hallways and interior of rooms are certainly dated. Only good thing is it's right off the light rail, easy access to Tempe, Mesa, etc. I wish I would have researched this a bit better.

Excellent stay the few weeks I was there. Staff was some of the nicest I’ve been around n a long time. Great breakfast and the coffee, idk what kind it was. But damn it was good. Clean rooms, with plenty of space.

Minimal lighting in room - no table lamps, just overhead lighting; paper thin walls, seems to cater to the lower ranks of society, pets are allowed but a dog kept raising cane during the early evening hours - had to go to front desk to register a complaint; no clocks in room, however, when asked, front office staff provided one; no continental breakfast; was just a stop over for a night because of distance travelled towards destination, won't stay again. Bed was comfortable but spartan furnishings in room.
