Good place and good price. The pool was nice. A bit of an older standard but the people were nice and overall it was a good place to stay. Near the train so easy to get to downtown Tempe.

Would love the pool to work again

Had a Jacuzzi in our room but couldn't use it as it was dirty and looked non-functional. One had one towel in the room when we had booked for two guests. Asked the main office for more towels twice and was told there wasn't any as housekeeping needed to wash them. I would have loved to skim the leaves and such out of the pool. But, the skimmer net was broken.

It needed updating and pool closed and not clean. People were nice and wanted to help!

Dirty. Was the worst place I have ever stayed in. Was during spring break and could not get another place to stay. Taps were falling off. Towels were thin and wore out. Smoke and fire alarms were not in place. Sheets were full of holes. Pool was full of sand and dirt.

Easy parking, working AC.

Not so good..Nothing but problems. TV didn’t work EVEN after someone came and “fixed it”! Hot tub not working. Big holes in the bedspread. Not in a safe part of town.

Booked online, property exterior looked fine, kept up, inside my unit was nasty dirty, burn holes in the sheets and comforter, open wires in ceiling, cable is being pirated from the other units, drains in both shower and sink plugged, 1960’s stove/oven nasty dirty , microwave missing glass plate, did not work, small pod coffee pot with no cups to be able to use, after 1st night relocated to another hotel, asked for a refund and was told NO refunds, unless your homeless I would not recommend the hotel,

The towels were dirty and old. The floors were dirty with no trash cans. There was no toilet paper. It was just horrible overall

The cleanliness was horrible and the was bed bugs.

Had ground floor room (109) where bathroom window did not lock. Floors dirty. Bathroom towels stained. Phone not plugged into anywhere. Coffee pot with coffee available but no cream, sugar, and utensils, even after I requested to provide. No trash receptacle provided, even after I requested. Two double beds with one flat pillow. Sheet and blanket without bedspread. Would not recommend.

No trash can, bathroom walls, doors, bathtub, door frames, were falling apart and gross. Half roll of toilet paper. Towels that looked like they were used to wash a dirty car. Roaches crawling around. Bathroom window cracked. Refrigerator was dirty. Floor was dirty with cracked/missing tiles. Door to room had open space at bottom about 1½ inches, had to stick a towel underneath. Ac unit worked 80% of the time. There were greasy handprints on the headboard and a RFID card reader chip inside the tag of one of the pillows. Tv had to be replaced because it wasn't working. Maintenance doesn't know what they're doing.

The walls were stained, the TV didn't work, the towels were dirty, there were holes in the comforter, and the floor was gross. I had to go to the store and get some Swifter wipes to wash the floor for my own peace of mind.

The room on internet not the same as what is being given. Please be Advised. There was a big smell and noticed bugs crawling all over. Room was not cleaned and beds were terrible to sleep.

Employee that checked us in was friendly. Got to room and wasn't as expected. Tub faucet wouldn't turn off completely so water was constantly running. No soap and not enough towels for the two guests (only had for one person).Asked office for more towels and was told they were in the process of being washed. Returned to the office after swimming to ask for two towels. They only had one available. In the room, I killed at least two cockroaches. Saw others but couldn't get to them fast enough to kill them. There was droppings and egg cases in the dresser. . Was a bit afraid to sleep there as I didn't want the roaches to get into my belongings. Had to check out early to catch a flight and had to slide key into an unsecured area to return it. Was worried someone was going to get a hold of it and potentially trash the room.

This motel is so run down that it would take more to repair it than tear it down and build a new one. I booked 2 nights and stayed only one. Honestly, I don’t understand how the health department has not closed it down. Don’t stay there. You will regret it. The filth is staggering. I will say the bed was clean but that’s the only reason I stayed even the one night. My sister’s room was even worse than mine. There was literally bloody streaks on the wall.

This stay was difficult to say the least. This room I was given was filthy as can be. The toilet was broken . I reserved a king bed they gave us a full size bed. The tv in the room did not work. The ac kept blowing hot air...it was horrible

Asked more than once for 2 days to get tv fixed It was not

Originally i found the rooms to be tidy only because they only had beds. No lamps, no phone, or clocks anywhere in the room. Window blinds were installed without care so you never felt private. I did have a tv that didnt work 2 days out of the 4 days scheduled. After some excuses why they cant fix or move my rooms they finally brought in a handyman, who brought a separate tv but this one had no volume, but made it seem better cuz at least i had subtitles. Do yourself a favor spend a few extra dollars to upgrade your staying experience. The owners were cheaper than i was trying to do in my choice in Motels.

The air conditioning isn't working neither os the tv.

The room had no lamps next to the bed only one light (ceiling light) no electrical outlet by the bed. Could charge phone. Remote control for the T.V. didn't work

For an inexpensive hotel, it was well worth it. I found the bed to be very clean. I inspected the sheets well and looks great. The room and bathroom was well cleaned the air conditioner ran great considering it was hot outside and the shower hot water was great also. I definitely stay here again.

The room was very large. Easy to go to grocery store. Comfortable and quite which was surprising. Floor could have used mopping.

It is an old place that the owners are trying to upkeep. Its freshly painted. The room has a kitchen but no pots,pans,cuttlery or dishes. I did not needed but keep in mind. No shampoo only a soap is provided. The vending machine was out of water so i had to leave to get some water. Inconvenient. The bed is comfortable and the place is clean. The location is close to the metro station so downtown is a short ride away.

No WiFi

Made the reservation with Expedia. Arrived to the property about an hour and a half later. Was told the room I reserved was not available it had already been rented. He could offer me the last room available at a $20.00 higher rate then my reservation price telling me the reservation was pending and had not been paid so I would also have to pay in full again. The next day of course both charges were on my bank statement. Expedia was great and called the property and got me refunded. Disappointed in the upsell not honoring the Expedia pricing and also being double charged with the only other option at after 9 pm was to find another hotel. The staff was professional and easy to deal with but the circumstance was very disappointing.

Talk to the Manager(s) or staff members if you need any accommodations; for instance, I had to check-in late after office hours. The Property Manager and staff member went above and beyond their service. A staff member stayed until I was able to arrive on the property. Thank you American Executive Inn!!

We reserved this room and paid in advance because it was required. When we arrived, office was closed and a sign said no rooms available. After 15 minutes, a man finally came down and after me proving I had already purchased a room, he handed me a room key. We drove over to the room. Upon entering the room it was hot and sticky. There was NO air conditioning. We went outside and noticed that each room other than ours, had very evident AC units, ours however, did not. I purchased this room assuming that the listed amentities would actually exsist. We immediately left and returned to the office to request a refund and would not stay there. The man would not answer the door and i was forced to leave the key in designated window. I contacted the office immediately the next day and both man and woman working there confirmed they would grant the request for refund but it must be done through this website. I did just that. A day later, hotels.com wrote to say the hotel denied our request and would not permit a refund. WE DID NOT STAY THERE! Absolute disrespect from this property.

The staff was very polite and professional

The property is run down in need of serious repair and maintenance. No AC in rooms AC units falling out of the walls. No mircowave, no phone in room. Ice machine doesn't work. The customer service is the worst part of the hotel. They only offer non refundable reservations and claim manager is the only one who can refund anything and manager is never on property.

Front desk person was great. Accommodating and flexible Rooms were run down and in bad shape. No maid service for my 3 night stay. Had to go each day to desk to get clean towels.

Our flight was weather delayed for 4 hours. We tried to check in at midnight. It took 30 minutes of ringing the bell and pounding on the door before the night manager finally responded. He told us that they closed at 10pm. Our reservation was prepaid, so I did not want to go somewhere else.

Good value for the money. Easy access to the airport with public transportation. No option to store luggage but otherwise good option for one night in or out of Pheonix.

I did not stay the night. I felt uncomfortable and a bit scared getting back into the room, after having been out for dinner and playing bingo. There were people standing outside near my room, and there was a guy walking around in the parking lot, seem like checking out vehicles.This is around midnight. So I left, did not sleep in the bed and didn't touch anything at all. I paid for a room I did not stay in. Is it possible to get a refund? I slept in my vehicle in a parking lot at a casino. That was my visit to the valley after driving 4 hours from northern Arizona.

It wasn't the best place I've stayed, I didn't expect it to be. Accommodation in the area was expensive during the time frame of my trip and this place was about half the price of the chain economy hotels nearby. It was clean and quiet. I could hear the light rail trains, but they didn't bother me. Easy walk to the light rail. It had a kitchenette and there are two supermarkets within walking distance. It's not staffed 24 hours. I had to check out early in the morning and if I had left something in the room by accident, it would have been problematic. Otherwise, I was satisfied with the staff and the stay in general.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE. This place seems to be the homeless hotel of the town. We arrived at ten-thirty at night. Parking lot completely full. People were hanging out, working on their cars as if it were the middle of the day at an apartment complex. My husband stopped to let someone pass in front of us. Instead, he proceeded to yell and scream at us. We did not feel safe at all. Motel refused to give us a refund even though we did not stay there and did not feel safe.

We had a great stay. Parking lot was was easier to use then anticipated. Kitchen with full sized refrigerator was great for our 6 day stay. The two grocery stores nearby made using the kitchen convenient. Great water pressure, volume (shower), and temperature. Beds were very comfortable.

It was in a tough part of town

Although the exterior of the property was mostly clean and presentable, and the area around the property was completely fine, it was obvious that the room we were given was probably being used as an SRO. The bed was comfortable and the unit mostly clean but seems due for a deep cleaning as the floor had sticky spots and we were not able to walk around in bare feet. Additionally, the kitchenette area contained nothing with which to use the stove. Above all, although noted as a "non-smoking" unit, the room reeked of marijuana and had not been aired out.

Lady at the desk was . Room was absolutely filthy and advertise with continental breakfast NO BREAKFAST I wouldn’t stay there again on a bet. Wish I could get my money back.

Pool isn’t open all year long, but there’s grills and a picnic table that everyone can use year round.

We booked a room with a kitchenette. No coffee, no plates, no silverware and nothing to heat up water! Sinks in the bathroom and kitchen were plugged! Toilet did not flush properly. Floor was dirty. Vents in the room were covered with dust/dirt. The beds were okay. No real TV channels. Wifi had no security. Furnace did work. Descent location. Housekeeping safe was more helpful than the fromt desk. Our advice is to check the room before your stay

The stuff was rude. No shampoo/conditioner. No hot water, the sink hot water knob was broken off. There was a coffee pot but they had no coffee or cups. The towels and bedding were very old and stained.
