Attached to shopping centre car park with discount for hotel guest. Restaurant chains and several high street brands next door. Breakfast range ok, hot food WAS hot and tea/coffee available from same area all day. Only small whinge was that the double bed was smaller and softer than our own. Staff helpful and all hotel areas were clean. 20 mins walk to museum quarter and 15 to local history centre.

Great stay as always. Lovely staff. Easy to park in St Stephen’s shopping centre car park. You get a ticket from hotel reception at checkout, it’s £8 for 24 hours. Lovely room on the 7th floor with a view towards the Humber Bridge. It was a big twin room, spotlessly clean. With a big tv and good size bathroom. We went in the bar and was sad the only cider was Magners or Bulmers. Breakfast was tasty. All in all a nice hotel in a very convenient area. Can highly recommend!

Centrally located and attached to a good shopping centre, we stayed here as it was convenient for the football match we were attending. Rooms were very good and the staff were polite and professional, and a good source of information. Nice bar area and they serve a decent breakfast with a good selection of food. No restaurant for a main meal, but options are available nearby.

Great stay as always. Would have given 5* if both the lifts had been working. Lovely room on the top floor with fabulous views over the city. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy. Excellent breakfast and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I can highly recommend!

Good Location. Found parking a challenge as the post code on Waze takes you to Tesco carpark and had to phone Hotel for help. 24hr parking £8 . You walk out the Hotel under cover into a shopping centre with good places to eat.

We were initially placed in a room which was very filthy. There was a lot of hairs in the bathroom and everywhere on the sofa, and i think pet hair everywhere in the room . They changed the rooms for us but no apology was offered , made it seem we had to be grateful they changed the rooms for us.we also paid for parking and on our way out the ticket didn’t work on scanning. Had to call the hotel which was quite an inconvinience.

I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, quality breakfast , quietness, price and location. I travelled on Hull train which is 5 mins away from hotel( to catch euro star) . On other occasions Ive stayed here when shopping or visiting the theatre.

Great location and ease of access and help from staff as I’m a blind traveller. Very efficient service at breakfast and everything was freshly prepared. The hotel and facilities were spotless and housekeeping is done daily so fresh towels each day. Spot on place to stay for anyone.

Lovely first stay at Holiday Inn Express Hull. Spotlessly clean throughout, super comfy beds and selection of pillows, well appointed room with iron which you would actually dare use and an ironing board. Plentiful breakfast, included in price, with bags and take away cups for those pushed for time. Friendly and helpful staff. Just across road from railway station and nice shopping centre with plenty of options for eating out. I would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be using again when visiting Hull

As short stay business hotels go, this was fine. The bed was comfortable. The lighting in the room was very dim because there were only lamps, not a main light. It was clean but there was a horrible drain smell in the bathroom. I was only staying for one night, but if I'd been there for longer I would have asked to move to another room. The WiFi in my room didn't work. The breakfast offer was good and the staff at reception and in the dining room were friendly and helpful.

Pretty standard Holiday Inn. Plus side: easy parking, attached to a shopping centre, very friendly/nice staff consistently. The air con was great. The TV was tiny, the breakfast was poor for healthy options and the room sound proofing wasn't great.

Excellent value for money with easy access to the centre of the city. Great views from the upper floors and helpful , knowledgeable staff. The downside was that the room window would not open which lead to a very uncomfortable and restless nights sleep.

Very convenient location for Connexin / train station and shopping. Staff all hard working helpful and pleasant. Thankfully had family room as double just too small for us. Facilities fine nice to have Dove shampoo / shower cream in bathroom - we would use this hotel again.

We stayed in a room for three and it was too small. We had to climb over the bed to close the curtains or open a window. At breakfast there were not enough tables to eat at we had to sit in low chairs with our breakfast on our knees. The tables were also not cleared away

The Reception Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy with all necessary eco-friendly amenities provided. The beds were very comfortable. And the air conditioning in the room was a bonus. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

David and the staff were amazing. We got so much great service, information, food and beverage service and overall logistics help. The kitchen staff were on top of everything, cleaning tables and refreshing breakfast items. They all deserve major praise. That can't be an easy job. And they did it all with poise, service and smiles.

Lovely first stay at Holiday Inn Express Hull. Hull City Centre Holiday Inn was great for food, shopping and the Connexin Live. It was very clean and we had a comfortable sleep. Breakfast was good but would benefit from two hot drinks dispenser as there was always queues. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Hull was overall not bad—the room and general experience were fine. However, the breakfast could definitely be improved. There were very limited options for vegetarians, and surprisingly, no fried eggs were available. A wider selection would have made the stay much better.

We had a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Hull. The room was basic but clean and had all you need for a short stay. The breakfast was great from my perspective (lots of gluten free options) but my husband was disappointed with the quality of the cooked breakfast. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome, thank you.

Nice clean hotel and really good value for the price. Excellent location for shops, train, museums and the Deep. Late check out was handy. Breakfast was nice but had to wait ages for the hot buffet to be replenished. Staff were friendly but not very attentive. Would stay again if wanting a cheap night away.

Unfortunately no ovens working during our say only think you could get was scrambled egg or bake beans on toast, would love to know why they couldn't have done s continental as alternative, a selection of meats and cheese might have helped. Anyway dissatisfied

Checked in on Saturday, no working oven, breakfast was continental and only 1 lift working. Twin the room was awful , channels was unwatchable scrambling all the time couldn’t watch the football or any channels.

Second time we’ve stayed at this hotel. Beautiful big rooms, comfortable bed, very friendly polite and professional staff Convenient parking attached at at Stephens shopping centre. £8 for overnight stay when paid for and validated at reception. Only thing that let it down was the breakfast, specifically cooked breakfast. The kitchen didn’t seem to be able to keep up with cooking and refilling elements of the breakfast. I was told between 10 and 15 minutes for replacement items to be ready (we’d gone down at 9.15 and breakfast ends 10.30). When replacement items were brought out, it wasn’t all together so sausages and bacon but no beans / hash browns / egg. It did let it down when a big feature of the booking is included breakfast

It is handy for the town centre, however, only having one coffee machine for coffee and hot water for tea is not good, the queues for it during a busy breakfast has to be seen to be beleived.
