Great position near to the bus station Spa facilities very good . Rooms were spacious and modern . Breakfast was generally good with very good service .The outside bar area was very popular with outside heated patio but struggled to get a seat at times

A lovely comfortable room, courteous staff and tasty breakfasts. The main disappointment was the lack of heating in the Spa - cold jacuzzi, no steam rooms available for the duration of our week’s stay. Such a pity as we chose this hotel for its Spa facilities!

Very nice hotel, great relaxing in door pool area and gym lively hotel with plenty going on, weddings and conferences, we did struggle to get a seat to eat every night, alway very very busy and anyone can sit down including walk ins off the busy street so it didn’t make a difference weather you are a hotel guest or not , great food when you could get a seat. BUT no parking so not very good if you have a car it is a walk up a very steep hill to a multi story and you need to park using an app no money ?? It cost about £9 a day to park

We had a very quiet room which was fortunate as the hotel was very busy and the venue busy and noisy in the evenings. We did not eat there as it was too busy. I did not like the temperature of the pool and jacuzzi. The pool was too cold to swim in. I did like the lovely waiters and waitresses at breakfast who were very cheerful and attentive. Our room was lovely, warm, comfortable and quiet.

Very convenient for everything in St Helier. Vibrant bar but noise was never a problem. Staff excellent. Spa lovely and all areas well cared for and in good condition. Will stay again.

I stay at this hotel regularly and the staff, particularly at breakfast and reception are wonderful. It is well equipped with a good gym for a hotel and a lovely pool and spa area. I would recommend it

We had a comfortable and enjoyable 4 night stay to celebrate 60th Birthday. Hotel ipgraded our room and gave a card with Birthday wishes and sprinkled our bed with rose petals - very pretty. Breakfasts were excellent, as was chamoayne afternoon tea. Gym was well-equpped and pool had lots to enjoy, foot spa, steam rooms, sauna, different showers, jacuzzi, plenty of seating and excellent changing rooms. Spa facilities with types of massage were offered. All staff friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to the housekeepers who were brilliant.

There is no mention what so ever when booking that there would be music pounding until 1- 2am from the bar downstairs, if we would have known this we would not have booked this hotel. Arrived on a Wednesday, booked for 5 nights but had to leave on Saturday and cut our trip short as we did not sleep for 3 nights due to the music and noise so we’re exhausted. We booked this trip for my partners 30th birthday and this hotel as it advertises relaxing amenities including a spa, and couple of nice restaurants. It is far from restful. We booked the platinum room and it was filthy, carpet was filthy with some sticky substance on it that kept getting stuck to our feet, hair in the bath, pubes in the sink and the flannels had been used. We politely informed the reception but they did not care. In fact the manager Mr Eric, blamed my girlfriend and said it was her that had used it!! Customer service is terrible and its apparent that all they care about is your money!

Very central and near the bus station and shopping centres. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Service was fabulous. Spa was wonderful. Breakfast was tasty and good choice of foods. Scirocco restaurant was modern and had a varied menu. Our room was in the old part of the hotel and although spacious with a comfy bed and roomy bathroom, it had a strange musty smell we couldn't get rid of even though we bought a diffuser. Not pleasant to sit or sleep in really.

Room was good but cleanliness could have been better (staff need to look under furniture) and service generally good although the bouncer on the door when returning from our meal out on Saturday night was rude and wasn’t particularly a great representation of the hotel in general. This property could so easily be top rated, but it let's itself down with cleanliness issues. This was experienced in both rooms I was allocated, having been moved hours after checking in. Reception staff gave apologies, but they didn’t seem genuine and there was no follow up to issues experienced. On check out, I wasn't asked anything about my stay, so this confirmed to me their non-interest of shoddy housekeeping issues, that were completely avoidable.

Had a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful hotel in a prime location. The staff are polite, professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, with all amenities required. The food is excellent, with a fantastic selection of restaurants to choose from and the spa is wonderfully relaxing.

This hotel is probably the best located hotel in St Helier. It is close to the bus station and taxi rank as well as to the shops and bars and restaurants. It has a selection of bars and restaurants too within the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel had all we needed. Our only grumble was that the outside of our bedroom window was filthy and we found it difficult to even assess what the weather was like outside!

Our first visit to Jersey & the Royal Yacht was in a great location with plenty of facilities. Our room was spacious but the bathroom wasn’t great. Also whilst we had a balcony it faced an adjacent building so looked out onto a stone wall.

The breakfast and the service generally were very good. I enjoyed the pool and the sauna although it was strange having to go down to them with a robe on because of the lack of space to change in. My room can best be described as poky. It was the worst hotel room that I have ever stayed in but up there with the more expensive ones. Not even room to walk at the end of the bed,having to shuffle to get to the miniscule bathroom (no room for a bath).what they describe as 'the old hotel ' is not fit for purpose as part of a hotel that wants to charge premium rates .I feel that I have had been conned and will definitely be going back

Great location, can’t fault it! Central to everywhere as right next to great, pubs, restaurants and bus station that takes you anywhere in the island. Hotel had a fab spa too! Room was smallish and a wee but dated but we would go back and planning on doing so.

Stayed 1 night in the gold twin room. Ample space and clean,separate shower and bath. No view from the room or balcony. We were on the 4th floor. Didn't hear noise from downstairs clubs/bars. Beds a little on the uncomfy side Location superb. 5 minute walk to bus station. Plenty bars, shops and restaurants around the hotel. Easy bus access from airport. Breakfast great. Lots of choice. Late evening you they close off access to the hotel and they check you are a resident in the hotel before allowing entry for security. Would return.

Ideal location for 5 day trip. Buses 3 mins walk. Go to everywhere on the island. The 15 airport bus really good. Central location for shops . Hotel breakfast very good. Lots of choices. Quality food. Zephyr evening meal was very enjoyable. Can be a bit loud at times i would imagine .Especially outdoors at weekends with young drinkers.( Funny to watch but- Dont they all try to outdo each other being louder!!!?). Used the pool facilities too. Very nice. Unexpectedly checked in earlier. And a nice anniversary touch from the hotel in the room. We had a gold superior room. Nice terrace overlooking the Jersey museum side. Staff really good.Daniel on reception gave us a lovely welcome. And thanks to Pemidou at breakfast. He just doesnt stop! Very efficient and always smiling.Always a free table waiting.

Can be a bit loud at times i would imagine .Especially outdoors at weekends with young drinkers.( Funny to watch but- Dont they all try to outdo each other being louder!!!?). Used the pool facilities too. Very nice. Unexpectedly checked in earlier. And a nice anniversary touch from the hotel in the room. We had a gold superior room. Nice terrace overlooking the Jersey museum side. Staff really good.Daniel on reception gave us a lovely welcome. And thanks to Pemidou at breakfast. He just doesnt stop! Very efficient and always smiling.Always a free table waiting.

I stay at this hotel regularly and have to say that the staff are terrific. This time however there were a couple of things as described below: * if you go to breakfast after 8 the food can be dry and overcooked in the heaters. the bacon was particularly bad. also things like bananas may be gone. * unusually this time, i returned to my room at about 4 p.m. and it hadn't been cleaned. They sorted it straight away when i asked and were very apologetic. As i said the staff without exception are very very good. * The rooms are getting a bit tired in places but the beds are comfortable and everything you need is available.

Highly recommend very friendly and helpful staff. Room was absolutely lovely and view from balcony was lovely. We had a marina view from the balcony. The location was brilliant and very easy bus service. We ate in one of the hotel restaurants and it was absolutely lovely and the breakfast was delicious.

Our room was clean and quiet. The staff were super friendly, helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. I had a massage by Frances in spa and it was one of the best I have ever had. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The hotel, being on Liberation Square, is in a stunning location with views of Elizabeth Castle and is perfectly located for buses, shopping, restaurants etc. Our room was fantastic with a great sized balcony and was immaculately decorated. The bed was very comfortable (housekeeping changed my pillows as the original ones weren’t firm enough for me) and the bathroom was quite luxurious with robes and slipper provided. Breakfast each morning was delicious and you were always welcomed with a wonderful smile - a wonderful way to start your day. I’d definitely stay at the Royal Yacht again.

Fantastic central location to St Helier town centre. Staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Food was amazing, especially the grill bar, steak outstanding! There is a fantastic bar at the hotel, which although can be noisy, had a lovely holiday vibe and hearing people laughing and having fun didn't bother us at all as when you closed the door to the room you couldn't hear anything. If you don't like noise, just make sure you get a room on the third level and you'll hardly notice it! Very easy to travel around the island via hire car which you can get at the airport with Europcar, taxi rank is outside the hotel and the bus station is about a minutes walk from the hotel. Jersey is extremely clean and tidy, it's just beautiful. We're definitely going to return to the island and this hotel.

Loved our stay at The Royal Yacht. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Particularly appreciated the 2 bottles of water left in our room every day. Great selection of cooked and cold food at breakfast. Loved the freshly cooked eggs. I would have liked to see a bit more fresh fruit (strawberries) to have with my cereal. Our room was at the front of the hotel as I wanted a balcony with a great view of the harbour (which overall was excellent) but was a bit noisy on the Friday and Saturday nights as it does get busy in the square with the number of pubs there. But we lived with this. We didn’t hire a car this time as the bus station is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel and the bus service is very very good and reasonably priced. Overall a great stay. Thank you. We will be back.

Excellent hotel, definitely will be revisiting in the future. The food served up at the restaurants was 10 out of 10 and very well priced, great choice at the buffet breakfast. All the staff were very helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble and the spa facilities were great, highly recommend a massage.

We chose a Gold Deluxe room which was well appointed, very clean and had plenty of storage. Breakfast buffet excellent with eggs cooked to order. Some lovely staff. We ate at the Grill one evening - the only diners in there - food was excellent and the manager was charming. Two negatives - the bed was advertised as King size but felt much smaller to me, the pillows were lumpy, so not a good night's sleep; the male manager at the Zephyr restaurant was condescending to the point of rudeness. I would return to this hotel and overall we enjoyed our three night stay.
