The weather was not good but there was so much to do in the hotel what with gym, swimming and treatments. Also the choice of food in the lovely bar is so nice. My wife and I enjoyed every minute we were there. Every member of staff was a joy to encounter. So next time we’re in Jersey I know where we’ll be going.

We had a fantastic stay with an ocean side view. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, even calling the room once we had settled in to ensure everything was in order. We used the spa and pool facilities during our stay which were luxurious. Breakfast was amazing with all produce extremely fresh. Location wise it was easy to visit multiple restaurants in St Helier and the bus stop was conveniently located outside to easily visit neighbouring towns. My wife and I had a truly amazing stay and the attentive staff made all the difference. Would definitely come back.

This was our second trip to The Grand. It is a beautiful old hotel with huge charm and (mostly) great staff. We had a beautiful, well-maintained room with great views of the bay. Unfortunately, this second trip was marred - our check-in experience was handled dreadfully which started our week badly. The hotel has a beautiful outside terrace with comfortable chairs and plenty of parasols for shade but it was closed for two days duration our stay due to private functions. With no other seated area outside, this seemed pretty unfair on hotel guests. The alternative, on a beautiful sunny day, was to take advantage of their (inside) champagne bar. That might have been improved if you didnt then have to search for staff as they were mostly engaged preparing for the outdoor function And who on earth picks the play list for the piped music in all the public areas?! The playlist was made up of the most dreadful covers i have ever heard anywhere - it was dirge like Fortunately, many of the staff are very charming - helpful, efficient and happy. I don't think i would return though - unless it was to one of the private functions - staying guests seem to be secondary

Liked sea front and bay view location. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. Main lift nearest reception was out of service for the duration of our stay. TV service in all rooms on 1st and 2nd floors out of service for 4 days of our stay

Loved staying at the Grand Jersey Hotel. From the minute we pulled up the staff made sure everything was catered for - with smiles on their faces. Every single staff member we encountered added to our experience. We had a massage in the spa which was excellent - the massage itself, the environment, the attention to detail - all perfect. The hotel has wonderful views of St Aubins Bay & Elizabeth Castle - sitting on The Terrace for a drink whilst the sun went down was a fave daily activity. 3 mins walk is a bus stop that took us door to door to everywhere we visited. We had a very relaxing & pampered week thanks to the team at the Grand :)

Nice hotel as you would expect from Handpicked . Great position right on the sea front . Lovely restaurant and food. Staff very helpful. Didn’t get chance to use the spa as it was already fully booked . Rooms large and comfortable

hi recently stayed at grand hotel 17/4/25 my previous reviews are always 10/10 have done new year ball etc. and loads of other visits to hotel, on driving up realized outside area was not open {1st may } i was told, so had to go looking for outside space to enjoy the lovely weather all places full as easter weekend ended up at Radisson which i could have booked cheaper next day got put on a table at breakfast for 4 people there was 4 adults 2 children complained got told they where busy and what did i want her to do {girl in charge } eventually got moved to another table, went swimming as we had grandchildren with us got told to leave pool at 11.15 as we where enjoying ourselves because children are not allowed after 11 am so from 9-11 then 4-6 ? we where told afterwards by manager who was nice {bought us a drink but would rather have went swimming } another reason we always book grand nice pool for the kids again cheaper hotels with pools we can swim anytime we are on holiday after all next day rain fair enough next 2 days sunshine but no outdoor space so back to Radisson got told pool policy changed year and half ago nice to have been told and also outdoor space not opened would have saved myself good bit of money and could have gone swimming when i wanted with grandkids

The first and last thing to say about this hotel is the staff. Warm, kind, thoughtful and efficient. This applies from the second one enters and applies to reception, bar, restaurant, porters and even the bedrooms. It's so rare and at such a high standard it overshadows everything else and forgives some of the shortcomings. I'm not sure it is actually a 5 star ...bathrooms clean and fully functional but tired. Getting juice , it's from a carton and not fresh and I can give lots of other examples. Who cares? It's a lovely hotel and your stay is guaranteed to be enjoyable.

Main bed very comfortable sofa bed not so. There was food down the sides of the bedside tables and the bathroom was a little tired but the service from the staff was impeccable. To the concierge, reception and the outside waiting staff to the lovely breakfast lady. A credit to the hotel.

Cannot fault the staff or amenities. Breakfast quality is fantastic. The rooms however need some work to class as a five star. The walls were peeling and mark in several places. A touch up would give it its quality it deserves. Shame really.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is spotlessly clean and my room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The bed was very comfy. The fridge is stocked daily with fresh still and sparkling water and fresh jersey milk. The food at the buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. The coffee was good too. The location is perfect, right across from the beach and a short walk away from the bud station and bars/restaurants. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The whole experience was excellent. The staff were genuinely friendly especially Jacqui in the restaurant and everyone made you feel that nothing was any trouble. The room was nicely decorated, clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was some road noise, but the view to the castle more than made up for it.. would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and quality. Champagne Bar cosy. Room was a delux double but on 3rd floor so in the eaves. Dimly lit one small window, lack of plug sockets and mirror in the main room. TV signal poor. Housekeeping was good, fresh towels daily, nice touch of fresh milk in the fridge however, we had to request water to be replaced and the biscuits were not replaced after arrival not that we were desperate but would of been nice. We will stay again but maybe ask for a different floor.

Comfortable room, though rather small. We were on the third floor so think some of these attic rooms were smaller than most rooms. Air condition wouldn’t go any lower the 19 degrees centigrade; this might be a problem if very hot outside. We were continually provided with bottled water and milk for the room. Had nice sea view which included a view of Elizabeth Castle. Breakfasts very good with plenty of choice and good service. Meals in The Terrace restaurant were very expensive and not good value for money. We ate in local restaurants mostly.

We had a lovely stay, the room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a room that could do with the bathroom updating and it also overlooked the air conditioning condenser fans which are quite noisy. I would not want that room again if I visited.

Very convenient location with easy access to the town centre for shopping and eating out. Main bus stop was a five minute walk away meaning we could get to the tourist locations around the island easily. Staff were friendly and very helpful, with a special mention to Shashini who provided great service at breakfast during our stay. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. One very minor issue - the toilet in the bathroom didn't always flush properly, but other than that, we had a great experience. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

We stayed for a week in a delux side sea view room. The room was excellent with plenty of space, a comfy bed, lovely fixtures and fittings in the bedroom and bathroom. There was a slight negative though, the window had some condensation between the glazing, which slightly obscured the view. That said, it wasn't a major issue, but the window does need replacing. The food selection and quality at breakfast was first class. The staff also deserve a big thumbs up as they were always helpful and polite. All in all, we were very happy with this hotel.

From start to finish, our experience at The Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa was absolutely flawless - I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. Each and every member of staff was truly incredible, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The first and last thing to say about this hotel is the staff. Warm, kind, thoughtful and efficient. This applies from the second one enters and applies to reception, bar, restaurant, porters and even the bedrooms. It's so rare and at such a high standard it overshadows everything else and forgives some of the shortcomings. I'm not sure it is actually a 5 star ...bathrooms clean and fully functional but tired. Getting juice , it's from a carton and not fresh and I can give lots of other examples. Who cares? It's a lovely hotel and your stay is guaranteed to be enjoyable.

This was our second trip to The Grand. It is a beautiful old hotel with huge charm and (mostly) great staff. We had a beautiful, well-maintained room with great views of the bay. Unfortunately, this second trip was marred - our check-in experience was handled dreadfully which started our week badly. The hotel has a beautiful outside terrace with comfortable chairs and plenty of parasols for shade but it was closed for two days duration our stay due to private functions. With no other seated area outside, this seemed pretty unfair on hotel guests. The alternative, on a beautiful sunny day, was to take advantage of their (inside) champagne bar. That might have been improved if you didnt then have to search for staff as they were mostly engaged preparing for the outdoor function And who on earth picks the play list for the piped music in all the public areas?! The playlist was made up of the most dreadful covers i have ever heard anywhere - it was dirge like Fortunately, many of the staff are very charming - helpful, efficient and happy. I don't think i would return though - unless it was to one of the private functions - staying guests seem to be secondary

Loved staying at the Grand Jersey Hotel. From the minute we pulled up the staff made sure everything was catered for - with smiles on their faces. Every single staff member we encountered added to our experience. We had a massage in the spa which was excellent - the massage itself, the environment, the attention to detail - all perfect. The hotel has wonderful views of St Aubins Bay & Elizabeth Castle - sitting on The Terrace for a drink whilst the sun went down was a fave daily activity. 3 mins walk is a bus stop that took us door to door to everywhere we visited. This is a really lovely hotel. The food is excellent, breakfast is super and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Take the bus from the Airport as it stops outside the hotel, much cheaper than a taxi. You must visit the Jersey Tunnels and there is a really interesting film in the Jersey museum which charts the history of the island.

This property is positioned on a very busy main road that runs past the front terrace of the hotel, you have to cross to reach the beach. Stayed for a few days to visit the island. Great location close to the main town. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Only had breakfast there but it was spot on. Would happily stay there again if we were to visit again.

Every aspect of our three night break at this hotel exceeded our expectations. Perfect location as regards proximity to St Helier's attractions & beyond (bus routes on Jersey easy to access & navigate). Very comfortable room, spotlessly clean, superb view (directly opposite Elizabeth Castle), excellent food and drink. Its not an exaggeration to say that every member of staff modelled the very highest standards of customer care. We would recommend unreservedly - we're already planning our next visit!

Great location, easy for regular bus links to the airport, the beautiful beaches, shopping etc. Super friendly helpful staff and great pool/spa facilities too. Our delux room was great, just big enough for the additional child’s bed we needed, with park and sea views. We had a small balcony too but I have to say we didn’t use it as the wall was too high to see the view once sitting on the chairs and the adjacent room occupants were smokers. It did get a nice bit of evening sun. The carpet in the room was well worn and rather shabby but everything else, shower room, drinks making, fridge etc were well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Sweet thoughtful touch was the complimentary milk and cookies delivered each evening which our little one loved.

Very convenient location with easy access to the town centre for shopping and eating out. Main bus stop was a five minute walk away meaning we could get to the tourist locations around the island easily. Staff were friendly and very helpful, with a special mention to Shashini who provided great service at breakfast during our stay. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. One very minor issue - the toilet in the bathroom didn't always flush properly, but other than that, we had a great experience. We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is spotlessly clean and my room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The bed was very comfy. The fridge is stocked daily with fresh still and sparkling water and fresh jersey milk. The food at the buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. The coffee was good too. The location is perfect, right across from the beach and a short walk away from the bud station and bars/restaurants. I’d highly recommend staying here.

In my opinion the only disadvantages were that the food and drinks were rather pricey due to the additional service charge. This service charge did not apply only to the hotel but it seemed that it was imposed throughout Jersey.

Comfortable room, though rather small. We were on the third floor so think some of these attic rooms were smaller than most rooms. Air condition wouldn’t go any lower the 19 degrees centigrade; this might be a problem if very hot outside. We were continually provided with bottled water and milk for the room. Had nice sea view which included a view of Elizabeth Castle. Breakfasts very good with plenty of choice and good service. Meals in The Terrace restaurant were very expensive and not good value for money. We ate in local restaurants mostly.

Excellent stay, worthy of 5 stars based on experience of staff alone. Breakfast options & taste were quite possibly the best we've experienced. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff & they were all very polite & engaging. Particular mention goes to Dira from Indonesia who was exceptional. The only criticism to share is that the outside of the hotel looks a bit neglected, paint peeling & we noticed some roof tiles were loose. Inside is amazing but first impressions outside could put some prospective hotel guests off staying
