Very good hotel with friendly staff . It was advertised as having a pool but use of the pool was at a neighbouring hotel of the same group. Very significant history as the Pomme d’or played a crucial role in the wartime occupation of Jersey and was the seen of celebrations on liberation

Very central and our room was lovely and quiet. Taxi rank right outside. Slowest lift in history, plus it broke down, but thats life. No nice coffee pod machine in the room which these days many places have. But we had a nice stay with decent facilities. Didn’t try the restaurant but wish we had because when we out (it was a Friday night) into Jersey there were no restaurants with space. Seems everyone socialises and eats out from 5pm at the end of the week in St Heliers! We did have the breakfast though which was highly recommended. If they had Bircher Muesli that would have been a gold star, but they had plenty to fill us up. Well done Pomme d’Or.

We were very pleased with the hotel, its staff, facilities and central situation, making it very easy to get around. The bed was a bit firm for myself and my husband and the pillows a bit high but otherwise everything was fine.

An iconic St Helier hotel in a great location. It's proximity to the bus station makes getting to the hotel from the airport quick and straightforward and getting around the island easy. Check in was quick and efficient, the room was not ready (but then it was before 3pm) so we had lunch in the cafe. The gentleman checking us in came and found us shortly after we had ordered to inform us the room was ready which was good. The room was very good, separate seating area and a view over the marinas. The bed, pillows and duvet are some of the best that we have experienced and enable a very good night's sleep. The shower is also one of the best we have experienced, very hot and very powerful. The only minor criticism of the room would be the traffic noise - this is something that they are aware of as the room has secondary double glazing fitted but this doesn't fully block out the noise. It is surprising how many cars and bikes in Jersey have stupidly loud, farty exhausts (not something that the hotel can be blamed for). Breakfast is a buffet affair and the choice and quality is good. However, there are far too many tables in the room and it is unpleasant sitting within a few inches of either those coughing or those wishing everyone in the room to hear how important they are (we don't really care if you have a literary agent, you know who you are). Overall, a great experience and a hotel which we will definitely use again if/when we visit Jersey.

This property is beautiful. The facilities are excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly. The only thing that let it down was the cost of the evening buffet. This was a tad expensive for the experience.

I have nothing at all to say only, I think if they had a little entertainment and an indoor pool, I know they give us the opportunity to go to sister hotel but there is nothing better than under your own roof.

Excellent long weekend stay, from the initial view of the outside, right through to check out, everything was first class. Every member of staff was very friendly, the food was good and room clean. Position of hotel is excellent, right in centre of St Helier.

The hotel was very inviting with staff polite and excellent cleanliness. The Rooms were lovely again very clean and serviced well. The position of the hotel being central is near all public transport and shopping. I might also add the restaurant was exellent.

Room was far smaller than I have had previously which was dissatisfying room right next to the lift . Service good although when resting in the room cleaner would knock to check if cleaning satisfactory. Whilst this is a good initiative it would be good if they text and asked you yes or no . Location. Is perfect . Front desk staff superb

The outside looks nice, especially at night. My room was pretty dated, and overlooked a pub, which was fairly noisy in spite of the two sets of double-glazing. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Hotel almost totally full of OAPs for some reason. Wifi was pretty weak too. Handy taxi rank right outside. I got a check out extension which was pretty handy.

Nice Hotel as usual. Housekeeping and Restaurant staff wonderful. Some reception and bar staff not so wonderful!! Been at this hotel before and always rated it, but having had some bar staff and reception staff being unhelpful and at one occasion rude to my wife by saying’ You Again!!! was very disappointing. Not having Cointreau and claiming it is for cocktails and claiming they couldn’t get soya milk was pretty ridiculous for a hotel of this size, especially when they have had it before. So sad to have had this experience after being so happy in the past.

However, there are far too many tables in the room and it is unpleasant sitting within a few inches of either those coughing or those wishing everyone in the room to hear how important they are (we don't really care if you have a literary agent, you know who you are). Overall, a great experience and a hotel which we will definitely use again if/when we visit Jersey.

Most of the staff were excellent, friendly and not too formal so up for joke. The room was comfortable. The area around the hotel is very pleasant but some areas in the town were quite tatty. On our first night we thought the dinner was expensive, but we soon realised that it was par for the course when compared to other restaurants in the vicinity, but not quite up to the standard of some of them. The breakfast was excellent though. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay which were soon resolved. On the whole it was a very pleasant stay.

An iconic St Helier hotel in a great location. It's proximity to the bus station makes getting to the hotel from the airport quick and straightforward and getting around the island easy. Check in was quick and efficient, the room was not ready (but then it was before 3pm) so we had lunch in the cafe. The gentleman checking us in came and found us shortly after we had ordered to inform us the room was ready which was good. The room was very good, separate seating area and a view over the marinas. The bed, pillows and duvet are some of the best that we have experienced and enable a very good night's sleep. The shower is also one of the best we have experienced, very hot and very powerful. The hotel was very inviting with staff polite and excellent cleanliness. The Rooms were lovely again very clean and serviced well. The position of the hotel being central is near all public transport and shopping. I might also add the restaurant was exellent.

Stayed for overnight on business. Hotel reception was welcoming and efficient. Decor and environment well maintained, not ultra modern but very comfortable. Staff all attentive, friendly. Breakfast buffet good and fresh.
