We had a lovely large room that was comfortable and mostly peaceful. Breakfast was fine. Position of the hotel is reasonable although it’s a short walk to the main area and sights of Stratford upon Avon. Parking was very convenient although it is payable. I did report a maintenance issue which I found out wasn’t reported. Staff member then dealt with it very efficiently

Nice hotel conveniently located within walking distance of all local attractions. Good points: wheelchair accessible, spacious and clean rooms, good shower, plenty of breakfast choices, and amazing fish and chips! One thing to note when parking, don't use the app as its cheaper to pay the hotel at the end. This wasn't mentioned during check in so we ended up paying £10 more for the 2 days.

Hotel located 10 minutes walk from centre of town. Quiet location within private grounds and plenty of parking thoughthis is charged extra, even for residents. Rooms are a good size, many on the ground floor. Breakfast was good, all self service. There is a small but adequate gym

Arrived at the hotel to find out theres a car parking charge wasnt mentioned in the booking. Signs inside the car park can be a little confussing. Hotel feels dark and dated lifts are very squeeky carpet is faded too. Upon arrival to the room we stayed in we was very disappointed to discover no additional bedding for our child had been provided and the sofa wasnt very comfortable for use as a sleeping place either large double bed was extremely noisy creeked and squeaked clearly was old or slightly damaged base.also discoved previous clients lingerie hanging from the bed side light fitting not what you would expect from a hotel of this price range to be honest. Away from the room issues staff were very friendly and polite always on hand to offer various bits of information when need. We did decide to have the breakfast it was a buffet style with plenty of choice available only let down was the lack of available seating for a hotel of its size. Thought the overall experience of our stay was a let down considering the price paid have stayed in much better hotels sadly dont think we will be returning sadly.

Overnight stay while attending a music event. Nice hotel, quite central. Car park fee of £8 was quite expensive in addition to the room & breakfast fee. Should be free for guests. Breakfast was good but was low on stock and had ran out of a few items when we went up to get ours.

The advert said parking was £7.50 a day. When we got here, the sign in the car park told us to pay via the ACPOA app, which cost £10.20 for a day. Reception told us that had we paid via them, it would face cost £8! Why was there no sign in the park? An annoying start! The keyless entry system in your app was pointless as you need a key card for the elevator and room lights! The building was fine but looking a bit tired and dated.

Everything was gòod apart from the service at the bar. The bartender didn't seem to know what he was doing and we had a couple of cocktails which seemed to be ready mixed out of a bottle and still costs 11 pounds each.

The check in was smooth. My room was comfortable although the bathroom didn't smell fresh. The bed was great. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I would have preferred the sausages and bacon to be cooked more but otherwise it was very good. I had one soft drink at the bar after checking out that was very expensive. The welcome cookie was a nice touch.

Quick check in at the desk as the app didn't work. Lovely homemade cookie on arrival for both of us. Asked for a hight room but didn't get a view I was hoping for, just the carpark. Didn't have food so can't review that. Bed comfy, show good but a little claustrophobic. There were a couple of cobwebs in the room under the curtains and under the sink in the bathroom. The windows on the outside would do with repainting as it was very flaky, inside definitely looked better than outside. I'd say ma ok nly for couples or the older end as we didn't see any children in there.

Shocking. Stayed in this hotel just over a year ago and it was lovely bit it seems to have gone right downhill. First room was filthy and smelled bad, offered a second room which was unbelieveably dilapidated. Third room was ok and appeared to be clean. For a supposed delux room it is a joke. Receptionist was sooooo rude and uppity I was stunned. I will not be returning to this hotel and would not recommend it.

We had a very strong smell coming from the bathroom and into the bedroom. Tried ringing reception after we got back to our room in the evening but no answer. Spoke to the receptionist in the morning and all she said was she would speak to housekeeping But we were leaving that morning Not happy

Nice hotel within easy walking distance to rail station and town centre. Check in staff were pleasant. I had checked in on the app and wasn’t notified when my room was ready which meant I was hanging around in reception when I could have been in my room. In future I’ll ask at the desk rather than relying on the app. My room was huge! Very comfortable bed and good size bathroom which was spotless. Sound proofing is not great especially when guests show no consideration to others and slam doors and shout to their friends in the corridors. Ear plugs did the trick though!

I stayed this hotel for one night on 14 Oct, everything was fine at the benning, since it was a bit cold on that day, so I turned on the a/c to 23 degree for heating up the room and it was really good to me and my wife for going to bed, however, when we were in deep sleep condition while we were waked up around 3 AM in the morning by a freezing temperature at 17 degree shown in the a/c controller. we finally could not go back to sleep even though we had adjusted the controller back to 23 degree. Very disappointed !

Upon arrival we were given a twin room because the king room we booked had broken air conditioning. The next day we packed up and moved to a king room but the air conditioning was not working. So we had to be moved to another room again. Once we were finally settled, things went fine.

Room was very clean and spacious. Staff were very courteous and friendly. The welcome cookies were appreciated by my daughter. But the bath didn’t drain very well when showering and our room was near a fire door which was constantly banging each morning. Not ideal for a lie in!

The hotel is in great location and staff were friendly although they were clearly short staffed with no one on the bar at times and only one person on reception at busy times. We had an issue with feather duvets and asked to be changed but were told that no one in housekeeping they had gone home. Someone did change it though whilst we were out. Check in and check out was painful the computer system being clearly slow didn’t help I had booked an access room but didn’t get one - we managed but if you do need one it’s worth checking that’s what you will get. Despite these minor things we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location, very walkable from the train station and to the old town where the historic sights are. It’s a modern hotel, very clean m, and the staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed our visit, the only caveat I’d say is to try to return from sightseeing before dark- since it’s dark by 7 pm at this time of year (early October) , it was a dark stroll coming in from town after dinner and the hotel grounds are not lighted after dark.

Ideal location and a nice room but a very clear and obvious lack of resource. This impacted both ends of the day unfortunately. Did not really cater very well for Coeliacs (only morning option was a toasted gluten free roll)!

The hotel staff was very accommodating when we had a problem but overall the restaurant failed to provide a decent meal service even when we booked a table for a celebration meal. We waited for almost an hour and still didn't get the food we ordered with no excuse until we upped and left. Needs looking into, and it let the side down. Never again. Good job we have choices to eat elsewhere.

It's a typical DoubleTree. More expensive than a budget hotel, but with not much more on offer. The rooms are fine and the beds comfy, but the ceiling looked in need of a bit of refurbishment and a lick of paint. The breakfast however, was awful. Only one member of staff trying to set tables, clear tables, welcome guests and bring made-to-order food out. The hot buffet food simply wasn't replenished when it ran out and things such as beans and mushrooms just weren't kept hot and there was no orange juice at all. Stay in the hotel was fine, but I'd recommend getting breakfast elsewhere. Parking was also £8.50 a night, which in my opinion should be free for guests.

Comfortable weekend stay. Good sleep had on both nights despite a very firm mattress. Shower over the bath wasn’t very powerful and the bath plug was difficult to open and close. Good variety of breakfast items which we enjoyed. Evening meal was very good if a bit pricey. Good, attentive service from Lindzy in the restaurant. All staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking (£8.50 per day) and an easy, flat walk to all that Stratford has to offer.

Dining was good on the first evening apart from the length of time to deliver the main course {our prepared food was delivered to the wrong table, so there was a delay in delivering two meals for us), and on the second evening one main course and one dessert were overcooked and dry.

Everything was good , a lovely hotel but the breakfast was really disappointing. We went to breakfast at 10:20 , no one showed us to a table so we had to clear a table ourselves, I asked 3 waiter staff for some cutlery I had to ask for a cereal bowl then had to ask for milk I asked for soya milk but they said they do not have soya milk so I politely asked why there was a label displayed ‘soya milk’ and another with ‘Almond milk’ but was told ‘I don’t know we don’t ever do it’ there was no Bacon the eggs were all dried up and no mushrooms. No jars of marmalade to go on toast no side plates to put your toast on …basically disorganised and unlike any other Hilton hotel we stayed at before
