So glad we chose to stay at Citadanes! Everything was great! We had a few hiccups but nothing that would deter me from coming back! Front desk was very kind and very helpful! Unsure why others say they weren’t. We rarely had issues so didn’t need much interaction with them except for a key card replacement. We didn’t have the luxury of checking in early which was unfortunate because we had a very long flight and arrived at the hotel roughly around 11. So had quite a few hours to wait until 3 for check in. They do have a locked luggage storage/closet that we were able to use, at no charge. A lot to see very close to the hotel so we were able to keep busy while we waited. Once check in hour arrived, check in was very quick and easy! They seem to have people that speak many languages. To our benefit they spoke English and Spanish. Rooms were good. They are pretty outdated. The carpet was old. The seams on the floor seemed to be peeling and the bathtub corners could use some repair. Nothing gross though. Other than being outdated it wasn’t dirty. Beds were very comfortable! Only complaint is the bed in the room was 2-1. It was 2 twins pushed together so at night they’d separate and we’d have a big crack down the middle. That was odd. But otherwise they were very comfortable. Bedding and towels were clean. You really do pay for the location! So many tourists attractions are less than 10 min walking! I would highly recommend and definitely be back here for our next trip!

There is also a fantastic coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine in the lobby that we really enjoyed using. There is a luggage storage room if you arrive earlier than your check in time. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room could have used a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint though. All in all, we did enjoy our stay there.

The room itself is clean, bedding, bathroom etc. the rugs are filthy, old and very stained. But the location and employees made our stay nice. Be aware that some rooms face the back service area, and the lights and noise are constant as they go about their business at all times of day and night. If you’re accustomed to city noise you’ll not notice!

The property is at an excellent location with walking distance to Notre Dame, Louvre and other tourist spots. There are cafes and restaurants around the area. About the hotel, the lobby looks great but the rooms are very dated. Also daily cleaning is unavailable unless you pay extra fees per day. Towel change and garbage disposal are by yourself everyday. The carpet was really dirty in my room, the curtains falling off, I had to use a rubber band to tie them up together.

Location is excellent. Staff excellent. All was really good except the room needed repairs. The fridge door does not close properly so is always running and interior light is on. Dishwasher is not installed correctly so the water continuously stops running during cycle. Safe didn’t seem to work, but that could have been me. Also bathroom sink didn’t drain very well. I called about the dishwasher and had the maintenance look at the fridge, but it didn’t help.

Ideal location in the centre of Paris within walking distanc3 of Notre Dame. Large bedroom with working air conditioning and a separate kitchen with a dishwasher. Shower over bath not ideal, slippery despite using the anti slip mat provided. Bathroom could do with some attention, in need of renewal. Despite this it was a very pleasant stay and we will be returning in the future. Staff were very helpful and polite.

I travel 6 months of the year. On many occasions I arrive prior to the anointed check in time I can still get a room. Not at Citadines. They are sticklers. Rooms aren’t available at 2:40pm but miraculously they become available at 3. I was there 3 days and I witnessed the same thing. With customers being told Come back at 3. Checkin is “from” 3 pm. For me that means my room will definitely be available at 3 not only available after 3. And on a couple of occasions the reception staff were rude about it.

It’s my first time visiting Paris. I picked this hotel due to the location and they price fairly. Walking distance to everywhere and I love it. When I arrived at 10am, there is a room available so they let me have early check in. When I requested for late check out due to my flight, they extended one hour for me. Very friendly staffs and good communication. Will come back for my next visit

Great location! Short walk to the Louvre and Notre-Dame. Hotel is very close many good restaurants, the Metro, a pharmacy and a small supermarket. Room was much larger than expected and offered a lovely view of the Seine River. The room and lobby were a bit tired but clean. Staff was wonderful. Very friendly and quite helpful. Loved the coffee maker in the lobby. I would stay there again. In high season you likely won't get early check-in so be prepared if your flight arrives in the morning. We got our room at about 3:20PM.

This place has really gone downhill from our last visit 12 years ago. The whole place is very outdated with old rugs and dingy hallways. Our room had a very old worn carpet and the tub siding in the bathroom was falling off. The curtains were off the rod over the windows and the handle to open the windows was chipped. When I booked this place many months ago, I asked for the same room we had for our 25th anniversary and they never replied. When I asked for it at checkin they said it was a different room rate which I understand but they could have at least replied to my email. When we asked how much a taxi would be to go to the big train station (Gare de Lyon) the staff had no idea and didn’t even attempt to look it up for us. Honestly the only good thing about this hotel now is the location.

While the hotel is central to everything, the hotel was not great at all. The service was terrible. First, the hotel card key of another guest wasn’t working while I was checking in. The hotel host very rudely asked her to wait to fix the issue. Next, 16 minutes prior to check in our room wasn’t going to be ready. When a hotel asks us to check in, rooms should be ready at the time of check in. So we had to store the bags and then return a few hours later. Then, our room key wouldn’t work when we returned to check in. So I had to have it fixed. I’ve heard it’s a common occurrence with guests. The room wasn’t clean. It needs a replacement rug. It smelled muggy. It would’ve been a more pleasant stay if the hosts were helpful. Our last night there, we asked the receptionist to help us book a taxi to the hotel. He didn’t want to even offer to help and told us it was too late to book. He also said that there were no taxis available for 5 people. I ended up going back to the room to book my own taxi for the next morning. They should offer breakfasts to guests. Even if it’s a-la-carte or something simple. We found a great crepe place around the corner, as the hotel was very central to everything.

What an amazing hotel in Paris. The location was unbelievable. You can get the RER train line B from CDG airport straight to Saint Michel Notre Dame stop which is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The area around the hotel is filled with Parisian cafes and restaurants, truly French style. The welcome to the hotel was so friendly. The rooms were very spacious for being in Paris. We even had a kitchenette in our room. Very easy to get to all Paris landmarks as it is close to the metro and the Batobus on the river Seine. Walking distance to the Notre Dame.

Great location and super friendly staff! The breakfast was really good with enough variety to start the day. Our room was spacious and very clean, even though the furniture looked a bit old. Still, it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, definitely worth the money and I’d stay here again.

I have stayed at this location before. This time was for a week. It has many pluses and a few minuses 1. It's a great location for all things food, groceries, cafes etc. 2. On location washer and dryers 3. Kitchenettes so you can do some cooking if you like The minuses 1. Our room was very tired. 2. Older seams split carpeting, 3. Door to bathroom dragged on the floor 4. Our air-conditioner would not stay on and it was very hot in our room. Plus side they did give us a fan so at least the air moved 5. The breakfast is not worth the money. Walk to one of the many nearby cafes and for the same price have a better breakfast
