This hotel is the happening place in South Beach. Mostly younger hip crowd. The gym in this hotel is unlike any other hotel gym. They have free weights, squat racks, bench, everything a normal gym has. It’s awesome!

Quick Anniversary trip and the experience was spectacular. 1 Hotel was the best choice and it lived up to the ratings and great reviews. The property is stunning and all the pools and service staff were the best. We enjoyed all the facilities and never left the property outside of running the greenway. The food was excellent, gym experience first class, there was nothing that could have been better. I really like the location better than the alternatives we considered as well.

1 Hotel successfully did their job to make 1 Hotel from my No.1 dream hotel to No.1 nightmare hotel. Me and my family were big 1 Hotel fans and this’s our 3rd time here. The wonderful previous experiences brought us back to Miami for 1 Hotel, and I’ve told all my family and friends to stay in 1 Hotel when they’re in Miami. Here’s what happened put all of us down: 1.The front desk gave me hard time on checking in. They gave me room 304 to see only rooftop pipes and when I asked to switch, the manager came with no smile and didn’t help with anything. 2.A room eventually ready for me around 4pm with Sand Box manager’s help, otherwise I might had to wait for ever. 3.The 4hour-waiting-room 219 has eyelashes and hair from the previous guests. Also a not working tap water station and disfunction lights. 4.I told the GM about the check in problems,the leftovers and the disfunction lights, but all these problems were still with me for the entire stay. The lights automatically turned on 2-3 times every midnight to early morning and made the good night sleep the most luxury thing at this luxury hotel. 5.No room services for the stay until I contacted the manager many times. But they’re good at rushing me out 3 hours before my check out time. 7.The complimentary car service driver had no greeting, no smile, no help with my handicapped mom’s walker, an Uber driver could even done a better job Appreciate Carlos and his manager. They made me felt they cared and wanted to help

Trust the negative reviews and take your money elsewhere. I had a four night stay. Beautiful hotel at first glance but absolutely horrible service, miserable unresponsive staff, dirty unkept rooms with mildew in shower, bedroom furniture that is run down, paper thin walls and a condescending management team. There are plenty of hotels in Miami with better amenities and service for a fraction of the cost…Save yourself the frustration.

There was a musty smell in our room and hallway on the 11th floor. When we reported this at the front desk they informed us they would investigate and send a tech up. He did come up promptly but no diagnosis and hey sprayed air freshener in the air to on cover the smell for 5 minutes!!

The bed area in the room was very uncomfortable and very noisy. The floor which bed was located was made of wood which was very very noisy and also had one step to the main floor of room which was very very inconvenient and very dangerous during mid night time.

Lovely looking hotel with big rooms but this was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Had to call for security 3 nights out of 8 nights I stayed there due to loud music. Plus the wood floors are such a bad idea. Combining that with no chair leg glides on any of the furniture and walls that are too thin so you hear anyone talking a bit louder than normal. Will never go back there or to any 1 Hotel.

Outstanding! Large well appointed rooms. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. Amazing rooftop pool and restaurant, not to be missed. Two other large pools to choose from as well as a beach club gives you lots of choice. Great “Miami vibe“ Fourth trip this year alone. I’ve travelled to Miami for years and without a doubt this is clearly the top choice. Absolutely worth the price.

Hotel was amply lush inside and out. Staff was great though most spoke Spanish only. Room was great though bathroom is large but badly organized with no door on the toilet area and a huge tub but a tiny shower - and no real shade on the bathroom to the bedroom. For the price (and I had the no discount or air miles price) those things should be fixed.

Paid 2k a night for two nights and had two rooms so 8k total and the staff refused to let Uber Eats come upstairs or bring it themselves. I was sick and needed the medication and food I ordered and the made it a whole ordeal!! A five star hotel in this price range should be providing proper service and bringing my order to my room. I offered to tip handsomely. I was shocked by this behaviour

We had the best time ever! Service was sooo good. Roberta was texting me the whole time making sure we had a great stay. We got a room upgrade to a suite! A late checkout and they have complimentary car service that will drop you off anywhere in south beach. The rooms were quiet, beds were suuuuper comfy. The grounds were immaculate and gorgeous. Amazing gym and pools! We will def be back!

Great service! Every employee we had to interact with was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel itself was clean and every little detail was thought of. Overall we had a very relaxing and pleasant time. The spa and the gym are both fantastic additions to the property that we utilized daily. Couple things to consider for management: the bathroom only had one hook to hang the towels, the room we stayed in had a kitchen but no plates (those were brought up immediately when the front desk was notified). These little things didn’t influence our overall great experience, we will definitely consider 1 for our future stays.

I really enjoyed the design, the vibe, the motto of 1 Hotel NYC and looked forward to our stay at their South Beach location.. It’s clear they’ve made an effort to be forward-thinking in sustainability and that’s something our family deeply appreciates. That said, I do want to share one major frustration that impacted our stay. Before booking, I called to confirm that my family would be able to use the locker room showers before our late flight onto the next leg of our trip. I was told on that call, again after making the reservation, and once more at check-in that it would be no problem and we were able to use all amenities and most importantly the locker room showers before our departure. We planned our day around that promise. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the locker room, we were turned away. We were told the gym is a private facility not affiliated with the hotel, and that my son couldn’t enter, even with his father. It was an awkward and disappointing end to our stay, especially considering we were charged a resort fee for both rooms which included access to amenities we were denied. This left us scrambling just before a long-haul flight, and it was a sharp contrast to the otherwise welcoming and progressive tone of the hotel. I hope the hotel will clarify these policies going forward as consistency and communication matter.

Great hotel - first time staying here. Rooftop pool is a vibe - had one hiccup here but the hotel made it right. Food was delicious, honestly you don’t have to leave the hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well, a tad pricey but hey it’s the 1, would you expect anything else. No complaints in any area. I think the one will be my go to hotel from here on out in Miami!

This property was marketing themselves as a zen, health and wellness experience. It was anything but. I would have had more peace on the Vegas strip. It was a total party scene. Nowhere to relax. Constant loud club music everywhere. Dining was limited. The rooftop restaurant was beautiful but the food wasn’t great. The chemicals they used to clean the hotel was very overwhelming. This is NOT a luxury hotel. It’s very run down and definitely not worth the money. Check out Faena or Four Seasons if you’re looking for true luxury. Very disappointed.

Great hotel. Very expensive food and drinks (£25 for two coffees and croissant) and the gym staff were miserable BUT other staff were great and the pool / beach / room were excellent. We had problems with our bathroom but to be honest I’d still recommend the hotel.

The only 5-star thing is the price After a 10-hour flight, we checked into our supposedly 5-star hotel room and found it dirty and stained. When we asked to change rooms, Matt at the desk was incredibly sassy and dismissive. Customer service was so poor, you’d genuinely get better treatment in a hostel. A manager reviewed the room, only for someone else to call and say, “stains don’t make it dirty.HA. Sorry, what? Since when are stains acceptable in a 5-star hotel? Send a housekeeper in and clean it! Eventually, they agreed to move us and gave us a small resort credit. We were told the new room wasn’t ready and that they’d text us. Surprise, surprise — no text. At 5pm, we went back to the desk. We were taken to view a room, only to discover it was someone else’s room. We eventually chose another, collected new keys seven floors downstairs and carried six pieces of 20–30kg luggage ourselves, only to discover the keys didn’t work. One of us stayed with the luggage while the other went downstairs. The staff member asked why we didn’t just dial zero for help. BECAUSE WE COULDN’T GET INTO THE ROOM TO USE THE PHONE. Finally, we got in and discovered NO WATER. The engineer eventually arrived, saying he’d been told the water wasn’t hot, not that there was no water at all. Even he couldn’t believe it. At check-in, we heard another couple having issues on check out. We should have taken that as our warning and ran for the hills. Things go wrong, but how you handle it matters.
