My fiancé and I had a really relaxing stay at the Honey Bear Hideaway cabin. Very clean, nice patio, and everything we needed was within close proximity to Hayward. The Community campfire was also a hit!

When I made reservations, I wasn’t fully sure this was the same place as the old Mallard’s Landing. I was thrilled when I found out it was! I absolutely love this place and was so sad when Mallard’s Landing was sold. Thank you so much Matthew for making your cabin a VRBO. Thank you also for allowing dogs. Our pup loved it there. We couldn’t have had our mini vacation had we not been able to take our baby! The cabin is adorable, and the decorations are so cute! The lights all around the resort give it a festive and fun environment. We bought wood in town and had a little bonfire in front of the cabin my sister and brother in law had rented (with the hanging chairs). Anyway, we had a great time and will be back as often as possible! A++++

I went with two of my adult daughters. We rented two cabins and really enjoyed the deck for morning coffee! It was so beautiful by the river - even had a doe visit in the morning! The rest of our extended family stayed at a resort and theirs was a stark difference from our peaceful and serene cabin location!

Honey Bear Hideaway provided a comfortable stay in a great location. My kiddo LOVED the bear decor and bunk beds. The studio space was efficiently laid out and proved all the things we needed...linens, coffee, microwave. I loved coffee out on the dock and the built in porch table.

The cabin we stayed in was small but super comfy and clean. It’s in town but tucked in a wooded area that made it feel like it wasn’t. We were able to charge our boat in the parking lot overnight and take the UTV to get ice cream in town. I highly recommend staying here.

Cabin was conveniently located in town, but had the feel of the Northwoods when on the campground. Strong wifi, clean, cute decorations, snacks, and other conveniences. Bed was comfortable and it was a great night of sleep.

My hubby & I stayed for 1 night during our trip. We arrived after dark. Cabin was easy to find. Super inviting lighted pathway to our cabin. The decor was adorable & the cabin was super clean. Had everything we needed & bed was very comfy. We walked a few blocks to a supermarket for a few groceries. Great location. Wish we would have had more time to spend there. Highly recommed & would definitely stay again.

The cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. The shower had lots of mold and needs some work. Also the sinks drained very slowly. Other than that it was a great place. The parking was perfect and it was easy to load and unload the car, important for us seniors. We would definitely consider returning for another stay.

The bathroom was a bit tiny for 4 people. Glad it was just the two of us. Would have like to have information on places to launch our boat or other things to do in the area Cabin was neat and tidy Would consider staying there again, though I would not bring my dog along. The bed was too soft for me. Would have liked a under the cabinette light by the sink. Hard to see the sock to plug in coffee maker. Did enjoy the deck to sit on at night.

My husband and I pulled our SxS to Hayward for a couple days of riding. Love this little cabin. Location is great and it’s was perfect for what we needed. Matt responded in a timely manner when contacted. This is our second time staying at this resort and will definitely be back again.

Cabin was conveniently located in town, but had the feel of the Northwoods when on the campground. Strong wifi, clean, cute decorations, snacks, and other conveniences. Bed was comfortable and it was a great night of sleep.

The cabin was in a beautiful wooded area. It felt secluded and was quiet and peaceful. This cabin was cute and woodsy. The host provided a few snacks, candies, coffee, a few basic dishes, which were all appreciated. Extra blankets and a space heater were available and were used, as it was cold during our visit. Internet connection worked well. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Will likely rebook if the need to be in the area arises again.

Honey Bear Hideaway provided a comfortable stay in a great location. My kiddo LOVED the bear decor and bunk beds. The studio space was efficiently laid out and proved all the things we needed...linens, coffee, microwave. I loved coffee out on the dock and the built in porch table.

We had a great time! Everything was as listed and communication with Matthew was smooth and effective. Great location, close to town and enough nature to make us feel like we were still “away”. We plan to return and make this a new family tradition.
