Fantastic staff, stayed for 3 nights with our dog and my wife and son. Great sized room with fridge. Had a new bathroom but shower screen was missing bottom water seal as did the separate shower cubicle. Lovely pool (shame changing rooms out of order). Breakfast was lovely and again nothing too much trouble, defo stay again

Very pleasant stay The room was comfortable and well furnished and decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom very modern with walk in shower and glass shower panel. We loved the leisure facilities and went in the pool, sauna and jacuzzi several times during our stay. Parking no problem.

All night I was up I couldn't sleep the bed was too small ,pillows very hard and the bet was very itching the room had blood stains on the wall room 25 the room was so dusty hair in the shower cubic I had to put pillows and duvet on the floor and we had to sleep there totally so tired!

The room was dated and not clean with broken lampshades and black mould around shower. Day 1 no tea or coffee provided in room. Morning staff were lovely however evening bar staff had long way to go to reach same standards. Made me feel I was an inconvenience interrupting her conversation to serve a drink. Hotel was adequate at best. Would not go back.

Room was dirty and not clean. No towels in the room. Toilet was dirty. Stained carpets in room, chipped paint on doors. Bed sheets had stains on. Downstairs. The bar area was dirty with stained and filthy tables and floors. Sticky floors, breakfast was terrible, cold food and tough cold bacon. No manager on duty to complain too. No way would i stay here again.

Great check-in, a smile, friendly efficient service from a new member of staff, with an experienced colleague on hand. Room was superficially clean - linen and towels good, bathroom mainly ok, but floor was needing more attention. This room needs a deeper clean - skirting boards were dirty and dusty. There was broken crockery, cleaned and back on the tray and a broken lamp. The price was fair, we stay regularly but not frequently, but will consider other options next time. NB we had a dog and happily paid the additional cleaning charge. But the cleanliness issues were definitely not canine. The housekeepers probably do not have much time to turn rooms around, but better deeper cleaning is required. Breakfast fair,, other than poor hot drinks - half cups of not hot enough water.

Hotel was conveniently located at the edge of East Kilbride. Our room was at the far end of the hotel, which was surprising as the hotel wasn’t busy & we joked about needing a taxi to get there! Room was big, as was the bed, but definitely needs updating. Patches of what looked like mould on the net curtains, big stain on the carpet & the bottom of the bathroom door looked like someone attacked it with a hatchet! Only one side of the bed had a plug socket & the other side had the light controls, so one person could charge their phone & the other could work the lights. We left the room one day to find a pile of towels & linen on the floor outside our room. Came back later & it was still there. One good thing - the shower controls were at the opposite end of the shower, so you can turn on the shower & adjust the temp without getting soaked.

Disappointing. Underestimated how noisy it would be.Could still hear traffic noise in room. Corridors,and room above noisy with creaking floors and banging and crashing of fire doors in hall. Tedious. Limited parking near to main entrance so had to park around other side of hotel every day. No entrance back into hotel from there so forced to walk right around hotel to get back into building. Room OK but on ground floor with doors as light source. Thus couldn't let any air in without opening doors to outside car park area, which I didn't want to do. The whole thing hasn't been thought through properly.

Breakfast was excellent. Room 110 was too hot, reported that AC was not working, reception said they'd fixed it but gave us a fan. It wasn't fixed and was told the following morning that there was a problem getting parts. We should have been given another room. Wouldn't stay again as we were also told other rooms were like that. We had a poor night's sleep as a result.

Hotel is not bad. A wee bit of TLC needed in pool area and in rooms. Negative, is that reception tried to charge me again for a room I had already paid for. The single beds in the twins rooms are on wheels and roll with any movement. Sound proofing is terrible and you hear every movement in the corridor and unfortunately we are near the lift. Also, until 1pm there was loud dance music from I presume their function room that kept us awake in room 107, bloody awful sleep as a result. Maybe that's to be expected at the weekend. Positives is the lovely staff in bar and a very good bowl of nachos with our pints. Also, a decent shower.

Staff were lovely. However the hotel itself needs refurbishment. Doesn't really live up to expectations for a Holiday Inn. Slightly odd damp smell in the room upon arrival. Room walls scraped. Bottom of bathroom door peeling. Lightbulbs not all working in the room. Smallest TV imaginable for the size of room. Too many little things not quite right. A shame really.

The room was not ready even after an hour since check in time. The air con was broken- was only given a small fan for the room to compensate. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was overly hot. The room was tired and dirty. The breakfast area was very messy- floors and seats with food on them, just overall letdown.

Lovely hotel, really nice decor downstairs. We stayed in a junior suite, unfortunately between our room and the suite next door there is an door so you can hear every single thing from next door. And we were unlucky enough to have a very noisy family late at night and early in the morning. I would return however wouldn’t waste my money with the suite.

Hotel cancelled our booking the day of arrival. When we called after expedia notified us of that, reservation team told us the reservation is still active, so we came at night 11:30 after arrival with the plane to experience that our booking indeed could not be honoured. Instead of helping find another hotel or even offer us a glass of water to drink while we were more than 2 hours on the line with expedia to find another hotel for me, husband and 2 kids they did....nothing! Very bad experience and even worse start into our vacation. Hotel said they had to cancel because of maintenance issues in the room, we rather believe they simply overbooked. At that time.was fringe festival in Edinburg so all hotels were booked out even in Glasgow. We are still very disappointed of that behavior.

I'm just writing to say thank you so much for looking after myself and my granddaughter amelia during our stay on Thursday night. I've actually never experienced that level of kindness and support from staff at a hotel before. Zoe especially made the stay special for amelia and she felt like a little princess. Zoe went above and beyond for us and was extremely welcoming and efficient. I've never hugged a stranger but when she helped us at breakfast (we were late but she found us more than enough to eat) and then insisted on helping with my many "pack the house just in case" bags to the car ..I wanted to hug her as she had been so lovely. Amelia wanted to go back to your hotel yesterday also. We are now staying in a more expensive hotel (marriott courtyard secc) but its not a patch on yours! The fridge with complementary soft drinks etc, coffee machine, amelias magic wristband, childrens area, brilliant pool, spacious bathroom with great products...compared with my room now.. I have paper cups next to the kettle and a wooden stick for a spoon ..the room feels like half the size and the staff are too busy to add any personal touch. I even had to comendeer a luggage trolley myself (amelia hopped on and was happy )

I was visiting the hotel as local to visiting sick family. I mentioned to his to Aiden on reception and he was the kindest. He made sure I had a nice room and gave me a drinks voucher. His service was absolutely amazing and he is a credit to the hotel

The hotel is far away from the centre so not ideal for those wanting somewhere close by. Check in was easy and the hotel and room was in good condition. The shower was a bit mouldy and there were paint splashes on the floor but other than that I couldnt fault it.

I booked the Premium room with King Size bed and Sofa bed, the room was absolutely huge and so clean. They even left us some fizzy juice and crisps! I love the fact that the pool and spa facilities are included in the hotel to use as you please, and the restaurant for both breakfast buffet and dinner was lovely. Only thing was the bar was a bit expensive for drinks, £16 for a double pink gin and a pint of corona.

We booked a DB&B deal . Breakfast was very good but there was a special menu for the dinner which was not good. We would not have normally chosen anything on the menu and the food was average at best. I wouldn’t choose the dinner option again. TV was not showing any BBC channels and it took 3 requests for the problem to be sorted which was done the night before we left!

The hotel was fine amd reasinably priced but the food was very expensive and terrible. Although this was brought to thw attention of the staff, there was no apology or offer of any kind of discount despite 3/4 going uneaten. The chef walked past the table but ignored us. Poor

The only problems we had were the room that was for three, wasn't set up for 3, but once we called they brought up the additional linens. The other issue was we waited about an hour for our dinner. There were 5 of us, so I could understand some wait time, but that seemed a bit much!

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and comfortable. We have stayed 4 or 5 times in the past and enjoy the pool with our kids. The only a few things I would say to improve is the bathroom needed a bit of maintenance and improvement. The other thing was that the breakfast is expensive but I struggled to get a decent cup of fresh coffee. The machines provided a very weak cup. The best thing about the hotel is the staff and how friendly and accommodating they are. Will definitely stay again.
