If you are headed to Milwaukee, this location is so close to most everything 20-30 minutes drive. There are plenty of things also in walking distance. The house is on the older side so it had very squeaky floors and some janky DIY fixes around the place. Overall a great stay for my family. Be careful if you are tall because the stairs and rooms on the second floor have some angled ceilings. We did not use the fireplace. Kitchen had the basics needed for a brief stay. Appreciated having some salt and pepper available rather than buying all new and having to toss it out. Owner was very responsive to messages.

Location and layout of the "Wonderful craftsman home in Wauwatosa" was perfect to host our annual weekend gathering for 5. A first-floor bedroom and full bath made it easier for one of us with reduced mobility. Four beds and another full bath on the second floor was convenient and allowed us to spread out. We had 2 cars so it was nice to have a driveway, rather than an alley or street parking.

We visited Milwaukee to spend time with our son who was interning for Milwaukee Tool. Having a place that was close to his apartment as well as downtown Milwaukee and all it has to offer was important, as was accessibility for my FIL who can only handle a few stairs at a time. James' property checked those boxes. Along with it came proximity to adorable shops and delightful restaurants and bakeries in the lovely suburb of Wauwatosa. Nothing we wanted to do was ever more than 15 minutes away. The house was comfortable and in a lovely, quiet, clean neighborhood. While the amenities in the kitchen were a bit light compared to other VRBOs we've used, we made it work. James was very responsive to our questions and needs. Beds were comfortable. Back deck was pleasant to sit on. Driveway allowed for three vehicles. The woodwork and decor gave the house so much character! Our family enjoyed its time together over Father's Day weekend.

The home is in a good location, close to the highways, a 17 minute drive to the airport. It was difficult to cook due to poor lighting in kitchen. The fireplace in the living room is a tripping hazard. Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms upstairs need black out curtains as the sun comes up early. The towels were cheap and the bathmats were placed as rugs in the bedrooms. For the price we paid the stay was not ideal, but perhaps we had higher expectations.

Dishes were left in the dishwasher. Clothes in both the washer and dryer. No shampoo,conditioner or body wash in either bathroom. Sheets unfolded and stuffed in closet. Pillows with stains. One wine glass and mismatched silverware. Way too expensive at $350+/day. I have steyed in dozens of Vrbo and B&B this was the worst ever.

Lovely home in a super quiet, walkable neighborhood. The host was responsive and check-in and checkout were easy. This is probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. It was spotless! The neighborhood is very quiet with sidewalks and tree-lined streets, about 1.5 blocks to the main street in Wauwatosa with many shops and restaurants in easy walking distance.

My friends and I do an annual weekend in Milwaukee and have stayed in some bad places, and neighborhoods. Not this place. Excellent neighborhood. And the house was perfect. Clean and just the right size. Communication was excellent as well. I think we finally found our annual weekend retreat.

This was our second time staying here, and it won't be our last. We have an annual get together in Milwaukee with friends from all over, and this place is perfect for us. Great location, and a very nice place. Communication is always excellent. We'll see you next year.

Back deck was pleasant to sit on. Driveway allowed for three vehicles. The woodwork and decor gave the house so much character! Our family enjoyed its time together over Father's Day weekend.
We visited Milwaukee to spend time with our son who was interning for Milwaukee Tool. Having a place that was close to his apartment as well as downtown Milwaukee and all it has to offer was important, as was accessibility for my FIL who can only handle a few stairs at a time. James' property checked those boxes. Along with it came proximity to adorable shops and delightful restaurants and bakeries in the lovely suburb of Wauwatosa. Nothing we wanted to do was ever more than 15 minutes away. The house was comfortable and in a lovely, quiet, clean neighborhood. While the amenities in the kitchen were a bit light compared to other VRBOs we've used, we made it work. James was very responsive to our questions and needs. Beds were comfortable. Lovely home in a super quiet, walkable neighborhood. The host was responsive and check-in and checkout were easy. This is probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. It was spotless! The neighborhood is very quiet with sidewalks and tree-lined streets, about 1.5 blocks to the main street in Wauwatosa with many shops and restaurants in easy walking distance.

The home is in a good location, close to the highways, a 17 minute drive to the airport. It was difficult to cook due to poor lighting in kitchen. The fireplace in the living room is a tripping hazard. Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms upstairs need black out curtains as the sun comes up early. The towels were cheap and the bathmats were placed as rugs in the bedrooms. For the price we paid the stay was not ideal, but perhaps we had higher expectations.

We loved our stay! We were a group of work colleagues who typically work remotely and we’re together for a few days of informal work together. House was exactly as described online, and the location was great to be able to walk to food and drink options.

Traveling to see the Brewers play, bars within walking distance of the house that offered shuttle service to and from game. We had a great time, many places to eat, drink within walking distance.

Fast and thorough communication! We mainly used the house as a place to roost while at night while gone to a convention all day long, and it totally met our needs for that. Cozy, comfortable, and love the big house plants!
