Property was under renovation which presented some unique accommodations. Overall, it was a quiet stay & convenient to the Superdome, the French Quarter, and Casinos.

Biggest bathroom I've seen a regular hotel. There was a lot of trash in the parking lot and a lot of potholes but the hotel itself was a good nights sleep. I just hope it doesnt go down hill after the switch because i would stay here again.

Check in was smooth; staff was friendly; lots of parking; located near a 24/7 diner and convenience store. No issues generally but we did find a dead cockroach in the sink. No other bugs seen, though

Great for pet iwners

Even though there was refurbishing going on at the property, it was in decrepit condition. The staff was unsure on how to book a reservation from hotels.com and They took $100 deposit without my knowledge. Loud people having a party two doors down and lucky for me I had a 4 wheel drive as the parking lot has huge potholes everywhere. I wouldn't send my ex mother in law to stay there.

The hotel is remodeling and the property is very dirty. The pool inoperative. The breakfast is not bad. The morning person in the counter very nice

Hotel was going through renovations but construction noise wasn’t an issue(they were stopping as we were checking in Friday evening and hadn’t started back up when we left Saturday morning). Safe area. Lobby was clean and check in clerk was friendly. Room was recently remodeled and looked nice. Was also clean. Outside was well lit over night. Comfy beds. Someone near us slammed their door all night long and our tv didn’t work but those 2 things were the only negatives. Breakfast was typical grab and go. It was a good hotel for a quick night sleep. Would stay again.

Traveling with my family quick weekend trip . I would not recommend this place it’s dirty and nasty pool not working it was green . Bathroom was leaking water through the floor HOUSE KEEPERS ARE USELESS WHY PAY THEM to clean and the are not CLEANING

There was a construction site and renewal of the rooms. Location is perfect, close to I-10 (via downtown) and Lake side mall. Lots of shopping and fast food dining places nearby.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room seemed to have been newly renovated but was not clean and there was a giant dead roach by our bed. Renovation was about 80% finished meaning there was two gaping holes in the bathroom and lots of gaps here annd there and some of the lights didn’t work. The renovation felt very rushed and sloppy. Wish people would take more pride in what they do and what they own.

Room was not properly clean. Lavatory was dirty; night stand was dirty. TV was not operable because the remote was not working! Even after front desk attendance brought a different remote, it did not work! ... they charge for one night and said we had checked in and that is false. Hotel was booked totally and they rented the room to someone else. They are yet to refund for the additional night that we did not check in!

The place was filthy. There was mold growing on the door, the walls were bubbling from humidity. The floors were oily, covered in potato chips from the last guests, and a used glow stick in the drawer. There was no waste bin, and the sink water came out boiling hot, you could literally see steam.

I booked three rooms (118, 119, 120) for nine people. The bathroom in each room was very dirty. Room 118 smelled very bad, and the floors of all three rooms were not clean either. The breakfast was a decent one though.

The service at the hotel was fine. The people who worked at the front desk were very friendly however, it seems that the cleaning staff isn’t very attentive to their work.. I went to take a shower and the bathtub was covered in dirt. It was absolutely disgusting.

Television not working and some lights not working but place quite ok for short stay.

Owner was super responsive and nice guy. Rooms were nice, I had to move to another room as its shower was not working. Another was nice and shower worked but the bathtub drain was clogged and It was almost full halfway through my shower. Next morning

Power issues when we arrived, no TV working, no cold water in sink

This property is in dire need of improvement. The property had a broken shower, strange liquids on the floor, no TV, remote control, and one non-functioning lock to be honest, the only things that seem to be working for the air conditioning, the lights, and the Wi-Fi

The property was in disrepair the rooms were as well. The parking lot had pot holes that were nearly impossible to aviod. The rooms needed repair, the first room i was placed in the tub wouldn't let you change it to a shower because the stopper wouldnt let me pull ir up, when i mentioned it to the staff they gave me a pair of players to try to pull the stopper which i took begrudgingly. At the room i tried to pull the stopper and it broke i took to to the staff and told them and they said we'll have to move you to another room .In the second room the door frames had rust, the toilet wouldn't stop running and the tv remote would let you change the channels but you couldnt adjust the volume and the remote wouldn't turn off the tv so there was no way to turn up the whisper of a volume to the tv up or shut it off, which I had to unplug to get it to turn off. I will say the the house keeping staff was incredible i didn't have to want for anything in my room ever, they were very nice and polite. One of them i would ask about things to do and places to go and they suggested great places and was very patient with me knowing that i knew nothing about the city I was in, never complaining a single time or had any type of attitude. Its a shame that such great people would be stuck working at places the owners/management would neglect and leave in disrepair.

Desk attendant informed me there would be a deposit even though there was no mention of deposit in my booking. I reluctantly agreed to pay the deposit after confirming I would get it back on checkout. My wife and I went to the room and realized shortly after getting there that it was missing a smoke detector. To avoid being charged with damages to the room, I called the desk to notify them. They said there was another room and brought a key. We moved down to the next room only to find it dirty. We decided to ask for a refund, but the desk attendant said he was unable due to us booking on a third party site and being past the cancellation period and I would have to contact expedia for a refund. After much searching, I found a phone number and was able to contact an expedia representative who was very helpful. He offered to contact the desk attendant for me. I was inside the lobby when he was talking to the attendant and I heard the attendant arguing about a refund, saying “who’s going to clean my room?” Maybe the person who didn’t clean it in the first place should do that. Finally, the desk attendant agreed to give one of the two nights refund, but not the first night even though we hadn’t even been there for 30 minutes and there was a safety issue and a dirty room. The Expedia representative told me he could only give me a one night refund, but also offered a credit from Expedia, so I agreed to the terms. I hope this can help someone else avoid the hassle I had to go through

Off the beaten path halfway between the airport and NOLA, in a mixed commercial area. The property is not very well maintained but I had a nice stay. Two VERY GOOD restaurants nearby. Essentially on-premises is Mantra, a very nice Punjabi (Indian) restuarant. Even better, one block away is Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop, which sooo out-performs is location. I ate there three times, tried something new every time, all great. I would have taken more gumbo on the plane with me, but for TSA rules.

Great location on next to I-10, lots of food and shopping around. The only issue is the floor is extremely dirty in the particular room. It is hard to see due to the color of the laminate, but our feet got blackened in a minute. I have stayed in this property a few times before, but it wasn't like this before. Other than that, I love this property and will come back again.

Good value for the price. Conveniently located to MSY airport
