Very nice old hotel with no elevator but the beautiful young lady in reception on arrival amazingly just picked up our cases and carried them up to the 1st floor to our room, she was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and the hotel was in a great location close to shops & restaurants. Very noisy at night with young teenagers yelling and screaming through to 2am but this is no fault of hotel. Also the workers in the building opposite doing restorations need to take their rubbish from what the eat and drink home with them or put into a trash can, instead of throwing it in the street, their employer should be ashamed and make them clean up, this is not nice for hotel staff, guests and citizens who need to walk through that street.

The staff made us very welcome and changed our booking to a ground floor apartment the instant they greeted us as they realised that we might have problems with stairs; the offer was made without us even asking. The hotel which is both clean and quiet is located within 100m of a major shopping precinct with many designer outlets. There are numerous restaurants providing a range of cuisines within 50m of the hotel. Transport services in the area are extremely good both busses and trams are nearby. Hotel Abberdeen, provided a very comfortable stay with a pleasant calm atmosphere at remarkable value for money. We certainly stay there again. Thank you again to the staff of HOTEL ABBERDEEN🤗

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. Shower isn’t working, the worst bed I have ever slept in. I felt like I was staying in a prison cell. No window and they gave us a fan, but we couldn’t sleep. Even if it’s a free hotel- I would not stay. Everyone- please don’t stay. You will regret it. Don’t trust the photos you see online - those are misleading.

The stars are mostly for the friendly staff and good location, in terms of the room they need to urgently change the mattress. It has a huge dip in the middle and though it's known it's a two-star hotel, the facilities need a bit of renovation. Like some shelves in the bathroom to put your toiletries.
