Very clean with cute courtyard. Nice beds. Elevator kept breaking down so we walked many flights of stairs to get to our room. Bathroom very small but someone else in our party was given a much bigger room on 6th floor😐

This hotel is set back from the street with a front courtyard and a lovely rear garden. The rooms are small, but clean. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The area is great - easy walk to the Louvre, the Musee d"Orsay and lots of great restaurants.

We were put on the 6th floor in a very small and cramped room and we had difficulty closing the sliding bathroom door. The lift, when it was working at all, only went to the 5th floor. We would never stay in that hotel again.

Great location. But I will not stay there again. The elevator is constantly getting stuck or out of order! Other past reviews have complained about the same issue so obviously they are ignoring fixing this problem. And we were on the 5th floor (to Americans that is the 6th floor because they count the first floor as floor 0). This is a HUGE problem for this hotel.

O hotel está muito bem localizado. Atualmente está passando por reforma, então acaba incomodando um pouco os hóspedes. Ainda assim o lugar é aconchegante e tem conforto na medida certa. O ponto negativo é para uma das funcionárias, Xanta, responsável por servir o café da manhã, a qual é extremamente ríspida com quem não fala francês

This is a small boutique hotel with a beautiful, small garden where you can enjoy your breakfast. (Or you can have breakfast in the sunroom, next to the garden). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and were patient with our meager French skills. The big downside is the elevator was not working well and our two teenagers got stuck in it on our second day. Once they got out of the elevator, it was out of service for the rest of our stay. We had one huge suitcase and it was a pain to carry down 5 flights of stairs. The desk told us we could call and ask for help when we were ready to bring our bags down but the phone in our room wasn’t working, so we had to deal with the luggage ourselves.

A group of six friends wanted an authentic b&b in St. Germain des Prés and that is exactly what we got. The hotel is beautiful and we loved it. The garden was a perfect place to start the day with breakfast or soak up a few minutes of downtime reading in the afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful. *Note: not great for limited mobility people. High step into ajd out of the tub and old elevator that was fairly temperamental as one can expect from an older building. Room 63 is large for paris. Great for two friends!

Bathroom shower floor had scratches, needs to be changed. The bathroom was way way too small, when you take a shower water goes other the toilet, because the shower did not have glass partition or curtain, and towels on floor gets always wet so it smell after a while. And you need that towel on the floor since every thing gets wet. Bedroom size was way way too small, we did not have enough space for two suitcases flat on the floor to walk around. Staff was amazing, the breakfast room and back yard are marvelous. We were late checking out of 15 minutes but we did not get charged for it. We had to use the stairs cause the elevator kept getting stuck, and we were scared to use it.

Excellent propriety-good location-reception friendly and professional- Room was clean plenty of towels and quiet-bathroom small but clean .Bed was extra comfortable.Only minus no mini bar.I will stay again in April.

スタッフの方々がとても親切でした！ お部屋はこじんまりとした感じでしたが、2人で過ごすには十分な広さでした。内装がとても可愛いくて、清潔感もあり、窓からお庭を眺めることもできたので大満足でした！ 事前にバスタブ付きのお部屋をお願いした際、空きがあれば可能というお返事でしたが、バスタブ付きのお部屋にしていただけました！ 冷蔵庫はありませんが、フロントにお願いすれば預かってもらえます。 ホテルから少し歩けばスーパーやベーカリー、飲食店、スイーツ店などお店がたくさんあるので、周辺を散策するのも楽しかったです！

A beautiful entrance my stay was for 1 night with my family (6 total) using 3 rooms. Mine was a superior garden view room 61. Bed was comfortable a double bed and kettle for tea, shower was hot with great shower gel but there was no garden view from this room. I ask at the desk if I had the correct room and was told yes but all you can see is the top of buildings. The angle as a roof top room makes the window slant to prevent looking down. A tiny room but served the purpose for the night.

Kunde inte öppna dörren till toaletten helt pga av utrymmesbrist ej heller sitta rakt på toaletten utan att slå i knäna i väggen. Jag och min dotter är medellånga. Trasigt safe (de bytte batteri efter 2 dgr) Ingen minikyl varför vi inte kunde ha kylt vatten på rummet (det var 30 grader varmt under vår vistelse) Inte speciellt trevlig personal, rätt ointresserade av oss när vi bad om något. Kanske franskt men trots allt är de servicepersonal. Vill inte rekommendera detta hotel till någon jag känner.

What a disappointment.The room was miniscule, even by Paris standards. I don’t believe that shabby would be too extreme of a word to use. To be fair, the bed was comfortable and shower was good. The staff was fine with one very notable exception. While the location was very central in Saint Germain des Près and I had high hopes for our 50th wedding anniversary and splurged a bit, the price in no way was justified by the real experience.

This hotel is very quaint, a little on the old side but we wanted that experience. When we search for a hotel and found this one, none of the advertised rooms matched what we got. If you are used to space and a bigger bed, this is not for you. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and made us feel welcome. Great location to walk to many locations along with some great places to eat and have a drink. Overall, we loved it apart from the room and bed size.

The staff was great, room overlooked garden area so quiet, the shower was a walk in which was nice. Only complaint was the overall size of the bathroom was tiny which made it hard to use the toilet (I’m 5’11”).

Hotel pictures on Expedia were far more appealing than the property in reality. Have travelled to Europe many times so know to expect small rooms but the rooms at The Marronniers Hotel are pathetically small. The bathroom barely had standing space. Yet somehow contained a shower and toilet and sink a truely amazing feat. The upside was the Hotel's location very central to most things. And the staff were friendly, polite and would go out of their way to help. They deserve a better hotel to work in.

We stayed 3 nights with my wife and two girls. Good location to explore Paris on foot. It's a quiet street. The breakfast is nice with gracious patio area to enjoy coffee. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room had two bedrooms which were pretty small, but with good separation. Bathrooms were a bit cramped. 8-9 minute walk to the river or to cafes down the street. Recommend.

This hotel is very quaint, a little on the old side but we wanted that experience. When we search for a hotel and found this one, none of the advertised rooms matched what we got. If you are used to space and a bigger bed, this is not for you. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and made us feel welcome. Great location to walk to many locations along with some great places to eat and have a drink. Overall, we loved it apart from the room and bed size.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room had two bedrooms which were pretty small, but with good separation. Bathrooms were a bit cramped. 8-9 minute walk to the river or to cafes down the street. Recommend.

The hotel is in an excellent location and was relatively quiet at night. The service was excellent, and the breakfast (extra $) was very good. Our room was quite small with little storage, but the bath was fine. I would highly recommend booking through Hotels.com- we added an additionl night through the hotel itself, and when we needed to cancel for a legit reason, and 9 full days in advance, the hotel still charged us the full-night's cancellation fee.

We’ve stayed here three times now, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. The location is perfect — everything you want to see is either a short walk or a quick Metro ride away. The terrace breakfast is a real highlight and a lovely way to start the day in Paris. Like every hotel in Paris, the rooms are on the small side, but it honestly doesn’t matter. You’re not here to sit in your room, and what you get for the price is outstanding. For travelers, this is the best combination of location and value we’ve found in the city. We’ll be back for a fourth stay, and a fifth after that.
