Kauai Shores Hotel

Location was perfect for travel to North and South shores. Lava Lava beach club was a great option for meals. Loved the free bike rental with many miles of walking paths to access.

When we first pulled up to the property, I was a little apprehensive. The driveway is basically the back, so it didn't look like the pictures. But once we checked in and entered the property, holy moly! The grounds were absolutely immaculate, the pool was so clean and the seating and umbrellas, etc., were resort class. We loved the patio and chairs outside our room and enjoyed sitting out there and watching the clouds and listening to the ocean. The room was the perfect size, spotless and the soaps and shampoos were wonderful. My hair has never been softer! The beds had the perfect amount of pillows! SIX! The towels were soft, the staff were amazing, over all I think we'll spend more days at this hotel. The restaurant was very nice and the food was ok. No fault of theirs, all the food and drinks are expensive when on vacation. We loved this property so much and it was a great choice. The Coconut Marketplace was next door which had a great selection of restaurants, shops and a convenience store with souvenirs, supplies and food.

Old beach hotel that’s been upgraded very recently. Rooms are completely renovated and smell good with attractive decor. Pools are nicely maintained and well appointed. Restaurant is very nice, lively, and convenient. Free valet parking. Rooms in the back buildings are very peaceful. Two recommendations: a thin curtain for privacy with sunlight and replace the door that was old and you could see light all around it thus letting in noise from the road.

Great staff, clean room, great views. Good outside vibes, restaurant had good food and drinks.

Older rooms- ours was musty and faced a parking area. Housekeeping was slow. Location was great- on the beach. Lava lava beach club had a nice vibe. Live music a plus, all in all, mixed bag; good value.
