The facility is lovely, staff attentive and nice. The propwry is very close to the airport, so expect a bit of noise at night and a fair amount of noise during the day. Pool area and hot tub are clean. Dining in building is odd, "Starbucks" closes before the afternoon, and the restaurant (The Lounge) is odd, as it is in the lobby from what i gathered. Overall, lovely and inexpensive, but thats knowing about some of the caveats ahead of time.

Was great! The only thing is sometimes the elevator didnt work so we had to take the stairs. Was not much of a problem for us because we were only on second floor. Felt bad for those that were on top floor. We stayed there on 4th of July and fireworks were right there over the water. Very nice.

Like the location. Close to a park, walkway along the water which is lit up at night. Room was nice, comfy beds and quite. Coffee in the room as well as a fridge. They have a shuttle to the airport also.

For three stars, this hotel had everything: a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, Starbucks, a gym, convenient, many entrances, everything is on a card, parking is convenient, the staff is very polite and not intrusive.

Overall good experience. The room was clean, good gym, nice staff, and excellent location. The pool is pretty small and really would benefit from having showers at the pool. As far as the room goes, the bathroom needs to have a fan and more hooks for hanging towels and wet clothes if you visit the pool. I would still stay again in the future.

Enjoyed our stay. Clean property, well maintained, comfortable beds, smart tv- able to access Netflix. Wish the restaurant and/or bar were open during the day. Though, they had good choices for breakfast- in the restaurant and the attached Starbucks (had the basics). Very convenient. On-site laundry, fitness center, pool, spa, etc. great walking path facing the water.

This is not a full service hotel. Room was spotless! Elevator seems outdated and overworked. Was a nice hotel with lots of amenities: fitness room, pool/spa, cafe and breakfast served early (a plus for early morning folks;) Staff was very nice and helpful. Food was good at the bar and quick service. Cafe staff in the morning was very generous and front desk check was very generous! Definitely would like to stay again. Beautiful hotel, big bathroom, comfortable pillows and bed. Slept well. Thank you for making our stay business comfy! Will definitely come back.

I have stayed at the Courtyard Marriott multiple times. It is my "go to" for San Diego. While it is a bit pricey, the rooms and facilities are exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff is always pleasant. The surrounding area is pretty quiet, minus air traffic and the grounds are nice to walk, bike, etc. I do wish they had on site bicycle rentals. Also, the pool was a little hazy and my grandson kept pulling out hairs.

I have brought up the fact that our room wasn’t clean and they didn’t send anyone. Then when we arrived back after a busy morning and afternoon I called and they sent someone but my toddler was crying because she needed a nap and we couldn’t put her down because the sheets needed to be clean. They charged us for parking more than it says on my original email it said $19 . The front desk wasn’t very apologetic about our daughter crying in the background and even though she came we were in the room so she just did the sheets quickly and got outta there. But it wasn’t housekeepings fault it shouldn’t have been done earlier in the morning. You go to hotels to come to a dirty room after a busy day sight seeing. For a Marriott I expected better then small comforters itchy sheets and dirty sandy bed. Nobody has done anything to try to make it better ! Would not stay again!

The room looked clean at first but when checking the bed for bed bugs we found old food under the bed. We went to the bar/restaurant and got food to go to enjoy in our room. We both had the club sandwich and it unfortunately gave food poisoning later that night. The lobby is very clean and the ocean side is beautiful and perfect for a nice walk.

Was very comfortable at this hotel, but the only thing I didn’t like is that you have to pay for food, especially breakfast as we have to pay a deposit of $60 on top of what you originally paid for, as well as the shower is not being as tall and as wide to accommodate more than one person. Same with the balconies, it’s a nice touch at a hotel, but it can only accommodate one person in a skinny balcony.

Excellent hotel. The reservation didn't give a physical address to put in the GPS, so a little tricky to find. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. I requested early check in and got into my room before noon, which was great. Hotel was very quiet. Parking was a challenge even with paid parking. Stay was for a conference, so I wasn't in the hotel enough to enjoy the amenities.

Only stay here if you have ear plugs and a sleep aid. You are right under the airplanes! It’s a decent stay otherwise. There was a dirty spot in the bathroom shower, the tub didn’t drain properly quickly while showering and we had to request a switch of rooms because the mattress had a large divet that made it uncomfortable. The staff was nice and helpful.

I broke my foot on vacation and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided a wheelchair and did their best to provide a more convenient room. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere in the room and on the property. Great location!!!

My family & I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights & enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel was beautiful inside & out. Patrick checked us in & went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Best customer service by far at any hotel weve stayed at. The surrounding area was beautiful, with lots to do. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again. We really enjoyed the Kayake rentals right outside of the hotel. Thank you Patrick for going above & beyond to make our stay more comfortable.

Exceptional front desk staff! They were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and they greet you (and remember you) as you enter/exit the lobby. Rooms are spacious, clean, quiet, and well air-conditioned; there's a cozy lobby for writing/working in, with plenty of different seating options and outlets. I had to leave early for a family emergency. When I was speaking to the hotel front desk, he mentioned that they would be willing to credit the day that I’ve missed and to reach out to Expedia to see if they would also credit me for the second day, so I did and to my surprise I got credit back for the day I had to leave early. I was just assuming I was gonna miss out on that refund and it was very nice that the front desk gave that option to me.

Beautiful hotel and nice park area right next to the property. Pool is only 4ft deep so perfect for my youngest kiddo. Only stayed a night to be close to the airport which was only a 9 minute drive. Staff was friendly.

The lobby was welcoming, staff excellant. Great dining and bar area. Starbucks open early for a quick cup of coffee before catching the shuttle to the airport. The room, a junior suite was great. Comfy bed, great seating area and balcony with chairs and table. So many dining options within walking area.

Nice place, nice location but zero restaurant. You can slide down for a fixed menu (pay) breakfast but no lunch option. Dinner, order at the bar. If they had a restaurant this location would be great. Not a complaint as I travel solo. Just a mention for parents.

Nice and clean property, good bar with very good food (unfortunately, no vegan options) and excellent service. Staff was very kind. There was a strong damp smell in our room, but we figured it might be from being close to the ocean…maybe. Still, a bit unpleasant. Otherwise, a good stay.
