Scottish Inn feels like a throw-back to the 50's but not in a negative way. It's neat and tidy, clean and quiet. Our room was large and provided a coffee table with wing-back chairs where we ate our supper (we brought it with us). Grounds are well-kept with beautiful flowers. The nightly rate is very affordable. My sister and I have stayed at the inn twice, both times in June. We recommend it to anyone who is budget-conscious and doesn't need a swimming pool or gym.

This was my third stay at Scottish Inns this year. Always quick to check in, plenty parking, quiet and decent clean bed, room and bathroom. Reasonably priced in comparison. This is my go to inn when I am in the area.

This motel was not horrible as it’s in a great location and the area is safe. The front desk staff were friendly and I liked I could park directly in front of my room. The TV had many channels which I enjoyed however my bed was very hard and I was not comfortable. The room was old but adequate for one night and for the price!

No deadbolt on the door. My partner had a big bug in his hair so we checked around for others. Lifted up the mattress and bed bugs were crawling everywhere. We left immediately and demanded our money back. DON’T STAY HERE, don’t believe the decent reviews. I did and was sorry.

We were in Sturbridge in June 2025 for a friend’s wedding, and we reserved a two-night stay at the Scottish Inns. We could not have been more displeased with our choice. The room that we were originally assigned had multiple cleanliness issues in the bathroom, including staining on the toilet seat and bowl, and dirt in the sink. We asked for a change and were given another room that was equally deficient in quality. There was staining, hair, and unidentifiable particulate matter all over the sheets, we found hair in the shower, and the door’s chain lock was missing. The front desk staff was unhelpful and lacked communication skills; when we complained about this second room, we were ignored, and when we called to ask how late reception would be open, the attendant could not understand our clearly worded question. Our best decision of the weekend was to drive for two hours after the wedding reception and arrive back home at 1:30 AM rather than sleep in that room. With several other affordable establishments available in Sturbridge, there is no good reason to stay at the Scottish Inns.

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always been consistently clean. The buildings are on the older side with minimal updates but still a very nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Check in is very fast and easy. The area is quiet and safe.

Basic motel. This is implied with the price. Comfortable bed, while walking the floor noise was obvious, morning breakfast was cheap. Few options not worth listing. Better driving up the road to dunkin' donuts and spending a few bucks. You can hear the next room walking through their room. Walls are thin. I picked this hotel because its proximity to relatives just past the state border in to Connecticut. For one or two nights the motel can save you money. If you're staying longer go with one of those national chain hotels.

The furnishings and bedding are so outdated that it felt like there was no way to make the bedding seem clean. We slept on top of the bedding under a throw blanket we brought with us. The shower was very low pressure. The room we stayed in was in the back of the building and it was a dead zone for our phones. The WiFi did work and the On-Demand TV gave us something to watch. Room had a mild unpleasant smell when we first walked in. We would not stay here again.

We stayed here 2x, and we based our second stay on how great the prior time was. Second time we had a different room and the bed was just terrible. Lumpy and springs seemed to have met life expectancy. Other than that, the place is wonderful to stay in.

The staff at the facility were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived on motorcycles in torrential rain, and my gear was completely soaked. The owner was very kind and let me use his tumble dryer to dry my gear, which was done in just 30 minutes. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Very creative use of photography on the main pictures of this place. This location capitalizes on the demand for Brimfield shows and charges an incredibly high rate for what you get. A bed, a shower, and that is about it. After a booked multi night stay, we gave up and cut our stay short. After an argument, the property would not credit us for the stay on the day or our early departure. The only credit issued was for nights commencing the following day, saying that a cancellation needed 24 hours' notice and that we had to eat our night's cost for the day of early departure. Early departure due to poor accommodations is not the same as a cancellation. Very rude owner/manager at the front desk. Credit card dispute in progress.

Was in town for Brimfield Antique Fair. It was conveniently located from the highway. Room was clean and the owner was very accessible. The beds could be a bit more comfortable but overall was a good hotel. The rooms do open to the outside but we felt very safe.

The Scottish Inn is located right next to Annie's Country Kitchen. It's our favorite breakfast spot in Sturbridge. Also, the Inn is located within a quick driving distance of many shops, restaurants, and our favorite brewery, Treehouse. Overall, great price and super convenient location!

The room was very clean and quiet. The pillows were super flat, but I had brought my own, so no worries. The "breakfast" is a carb-lovers dream - pre-packaged mini-muffins and danish, bagels and bread, bananas, juice, and coffee. I ate a banana, drank the coffee (which was good), and went right next door to Annie's Country Kitchen (just walked - didn't even have to drive.) Overall I am very pleased with my stay - a great value for the money.

Reservations had to be made online instead of talking to staff on site. Room selected was a king via travel site. At check in as rooms were both at street side (noisy) and back site, when asked abt room on the back side it was noted none avail. even as not all slots seemed to be taken. The smallish rom was clean/neat. Front desk person very hard to understand with heavy accent. Very poor breakfast selection. Next door was a local breakfast, etc. eatery which would have been much better.
