Great location and amenities near by but the Hotel can use some updates to their furniture, beds, dressers, refrigerators etc. Also the room could have been a little cleaner. I almost got stuck in the elevator on my last day, so maybe they need tuned up or something. I've stayed here many times before but if they don't update, I will not be back.

When I first arrived, I was disappointed that the pool was closed which is why we picked this hotel. It did open the day after and we only got to enjoy it for a day. The hotel was very clean, a little outdated but overall it was a nice place to stay. I would stay again as it was two blocks from the beach and walking distance to restaurants. The staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming.

The lobby was updated and very inviting. The room was not as clean or updated. The pool was closed due to the railing being somewhat leaning. We had stayed here in the past and the rooms were not in this poor shape. We will not be back.

We were not informed that you had to pay per day for parking, which is dumb consodering we paid to stay there.The AC in our room was not working. Our room was damp, humid feeling. The arcade room, half the games didnt even work. The pool was nice, and the location was nice.

Location is wonderful especially a room with water view. Staff is all professional especially Donna. Rooms are clean but not perfect. I believe certain parts of hotel need to be deep cleaned , replaced or updated.( balcony curtains, sofas in rooms, hall carpets definitely, only 1 elevator working ). If you can overlook all those then it’s excellent

Had a great stay with the family! Bay views from the balcony in our suite were spectacular. Clean room with a fully functional kitchen. Several nice restaurants and bars in walking distance. Pool and hot tub area were clean and a great place to relax. Will definitely stay here again.

Lobby is beautiful. Elevators out dated scary to take alone.. rooms nice and spacious. But….Walked in to a dusty room sandy floors and mattress was so old felt like you were sleeping on a floor full of springs. If you have a bad back or hips make sure to keep that in mind. Would not stay here again.

The property really needs a makeover. The room was damp, the tile floor could be dangerous because it was all uneven and some corners were sticking up, the furniture was old and should be replaced. The elevators were a bit scary, we took the stairs mostly. They charge for parking. The pool area was decent. The photos made it look much better than it is.

So sad to see this hotel completely dilapidated. Fager sold to Ramada, and they have completely let it go. Water pressure awful, rooms aren't cleaned daily, and we had ants in our 3rd floor room (weird). Sunset view is great, and a bridge to Fagers Island. That's really the only positive.

This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at in Ocean City. The staff at the front desk is rude, the room was dirty, especially the tile floor. The shower doesn't get hot, but luke warm at best. You pay a fortune, in a sense, to stay here for 2 nights during Labor Day Weekend and they charge you to park in their parking lot. To me, that was absolute insanity. You already pay to stay at that hotel, you should get a spot to park regardless of the situation. They only do this because they know there will be no street parking, on the 2 streets that run parallel to the hotel after about 4 PM, due to the fact that Fager's Island is right behind the hotel, and they are unrealistically busy the majority of the time, like the were this past Labor Day weekend. So, once you get there, they got you right where they want you, and you have no choice but to pay the $15 a day to park. Then, the final straw for me was us having to take our own trash out to the dumpster. I couldn't believe that as well. It's like, what does the hotel staff actually do beside charge you extra for things that should be free. Never in the past 20 plus years have I had to deal with paying extra for parking, and taking my own trash to the dumpster. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY IN THIS DUMP !!

My family stayed for a few days and we're a bit disappointed. The stove top did not work or heat properly, could not make our breakfast. So we had to spend more money and eat out after we had already bought groceries for our stay. To make matters worse the tv internet connection was poor. We would not visit this place again.

To say the property and rooms are outdated is an understatement. They haven’t been remodeled since the 80s. And they have an old HVAC system. There’s no air condition yet. It’s either all heat or AC. We went in the middle of April and they still had the heat on they did provide a fan for the room, but I could never get the room below 75°. The floor was old terra-cotta tile. It was filthy. You walk across it in your socks and it looks like you were at the beach. There was so much dirt and sand or my socks.

Horrendous!!!!! I do NOT recommend. We stayed for a long weekend in a king suite and for the price, the service was terrible. There was no hot water and no air conditioner and no matter how many times we addressed the issue with the front desk the answer was “we will notify maintenance” and “a manager will be in Monday”. For an 85° weekend our room stayed at 76°. That’s extremely uncomfortable. They did absolutely nothing to accommodate us in anyway. Donna, the attendant at the front desk continued to text and ask how are stay was and I can reassure you every time I responded with an upset answer we heard nothing back. I personally will not refer any there and wherever I can leave a review I will make it known how rude and inconsiderate they are to their guests. If you have any concerns, good luck finding someone to speak too or address with your concerns.

The air conditioner didn't work. We weren't told until we asked. Room was 80 degrees. We had to leave our balcony door open all weekend. The temperature in the room only went down to 76°. We were told at check-in that we had to do a $100 deposit, which was new where listed in the price area. Our balcony was super tiny. You couldn't even sit on it.

Only one issue and that was the water pressure in the shower was really bad. Sometimes it would completely shut off for a minutes then comeback on or it will just be real light. Other than had a great time we’ll definitely be going there at our next stay in ocean city

There was mold in the closet as well as the tub. The shower did not get hot, barely even warm. Was contacted by someone from the hotel twice to "see how our stay was going" and was never even given a response to my concern. I did not bother trying further as i found out other people staying were having the same issues and there wasnt much resolution. The room was just ok otherwise. Wont be staying again but it could have been worse.

The property is in desperate need of a makeover. The rooms are old looking with a musty smell. The tv in the living room had a dvd player and Roku box but supposedly also had cable. We couldn’t get any of it to work. Why not just have regular cable available? We only stayed one night. Checkout is at 10 a.m. We inquired about a late checkout the evening we checked in and they told us to call down in the morning. When we called they told us that they don’t do late checkouts. This was a Tuesday morning and there was no reason they couldn’t accommodate us by giving us an extra hour or two. A little customer service goes a long way and would have probably prevented this poor review of the property. Do better Coconut Malorie.

The stay was nice. The resort just needs to really renovate and fix a few maintenance issues. The cleaning could have been better in the bathroom but the overall room w/living room was comfortable. The view was beautiful, close enough to wall to the beach.
